Nice and clean store. The entire staff was great. We worked with Chris and he made the process smooth and easy. We will be back.

My husband and I have been long time customers of AT&T. We recently stopped in this location to…read moreupgrade our phones. We had stopped at Verizon beforehand, just to see what kind of deals they had going on. We were told that we would receive $400+ each to trade in our current phones. The guy at AT&T immediately asked if we were already AT&T customers. When we said we were and just wanted to upgrade our phones, he seemed to lose any interest in helping us. He told me that my phone would not be worth anything as a trade-in. I asked how it could be worth $400 at Verizon and nothing here. His response was, "I'm not going to try to compete. You're not a new customer that I would be signing up. So, there is nothing in it for me and it makes no difference to me whether you remain a customer or go somewhere else." WOW... All he had to say is, "That is pretty competitive and, unfortunately, we can't compete with that offer." Needless to say, we switched to Verizon.

During the November transfer and recent cancellation, no one from AT&T ever mentioned a certain time frame I must stay with them or an extreme $250 early termination fee (even with the 2 hr call to transfer the service to my name). This is ridiculous and if it's not waived, I will never do business with AT&T again. Trying to get a hold of someone at AT&T with common sense is impossible. Even when I dropped off my equipment at UPS, the UPS worker said "Keep your receipt b/c AT&T WILL TRY AND CHARGE YOU saying you didn't turn in the equipment" What a terrible reputation!

Beware of the Howell location on Grand River. I went there after seeing a great promotion. They…read moreupsold me to a "better" promotion (obviously with a higher monthly bill) that had insurance. They also sold me life time replacement screen protectors for all five of our phones ($40 each). I left happy with what I thought was a great deal with protection for all of our phones. Fast forward a few months when my daughter broke her phone and we took it in for repairs... NO INSURANCE (on all five lines - none). This store would do nothing to solve the issue. They insisted I never had insurance. (Keep this in mind later.) At a later date, I went in for a new screen protector and was told they're not free to me because I don't have insurance! So more of their lies came to surface. After voicing my displeasure, the store manager then said he'd still honor the screen protector replacements (and did for a few replacements). This at least left me feeling like they felt bad for the whole insurance mistake. Then today I went for a screen protector replacement and the manager told me that this was never agreed upon. And when looking up my account said my screen protector replacement became invalid when I cancelled my insurance. Of course I never cancelled anything. And how could I have when they claimed earlier that I never had insurance!!? ALL LIES. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE FROM THIS STORE. They act super nice and helpful. When in fact, they are lying snake salesman. Bottom line, they upsold me to a more costly plan and gave me NONE of the benefits they promised it came with. I will be leaving T-Mobile ASAP. I hope this review saves others from being their next victim.

I stopped by the T-Mobile store as I was thinking about switching from T-Mobile. I had my wife and…read more2 daughters meet me there. We were told-all of us that if we switched and turned in our old iPhones that we would receive a $300 credit. This was important as I wanted as low as a bill as possible as I was contemplating retirement. All 4 of us heard the same thing. I paid off our remaining balance on the old phones, we mailed the old phones in with the plan to pay these off so I didn't have another large cell bill. When the bills came there were small credits. After 3 trips to the T-Mobile store and multiple calls from my adult daughter and one final visit- all with the manager/owner, we were told the $300 credit is actually spread over 24 months-so even though there is no contract, you can't leave for 24 months unless you pay off the supposed $300 credit they gave you first. Buyer beware!

She stayed past her shift to help the last couple people who walked in around 5:30p.m. and stayed until she finished assisting both customers. They closed at 6:00 and we were there till 6:30. I was completely scammed at Boost Mobile Brighton zmi. Went to get new phones, was told they were…read morefree and 3 lines was $75/mo. They signed me up at $125/mo for life and the phones were $301.05. I asked for a receipt, was told they don't give receipts. Then when I asked to at least see the computer screen to see what the charges are, I was told there were "secret codes' which turned out to start with S/N so they weren't secrets just my serial numbers on the phones I bought. Paula said I I see those serial numbers, she'd be fired. Nomsense. So, my phones I transfered were shut off so I had to pay the 301.05. When I finally git a receipt emailed, it was a fake receipt. Charges were all under "Boost RTR'' Which is Miscellaneous so they hide money there. Receipts show itemized prices. She told me 3 cases were $45 but charged me $75. That's why they didn't want me seeing the screen. They hoped by the time I did, I'd be confused or forget it. Then, I get a $105 from Metro because Boost selected the wrong option to transfer my phone #s. I called Paula she said to pay it then dispute the charges with my bank. That's 100% FRAUD. Owner promised her she would call but the owner didn't (Adrian). I called one last time with corporate on the line and she said 'I'll switch it to $75 after a few months' and wheni said corporate was on the line, she yelled 'this isn't my store and I'm closing' she then hung up. Mind you, it was 20 min to 8pm which is when they close. She hung up and closedcearky because she knew what was done to me and had no answers. Going to Chamber of Comnerce today. Still have no receipt for over $400 in merchandise that's a tax write off.i own a company too. They must pay salespeople on OVERAGE, which means money above the stores costs goes to them.thats why they hide charges on the RTR. Either they saw me as a mark or they do this to everyone. So be careful, demand receipts while in store. They don't even have a receipt machine, whoops that in 2026? No idea what to do about the $105 charge from metro pcs. When. Paula said I could switch my numbers for free, she says "I didn't charge you, Metro did' but we both know, that's not free transfer if my carrier charges me. Watch out guts.
