My husband and I have been long time customers of AT&T. We recently stopped in this location to upgrade our phones. We had stopped at Verizon beforehand, just to see what kind of deals they had going on. We were told that we would receive $400+ each to trade in our current phones. The guy at AT&T immediately asked if we were already AT&T customers. When we said we were and just wanted to upgrade our phones, he seemed to lose any interest in helping us. He told me that my phone would not be worth anything as a trade-in. I asked how it could be worth $400 at Verizon and nothing here. His response was, "I'm not going to try to compete. You're not a new customer that I would be signing up. So, there is nothing in it for me and it makes no difference to me whether you remain a customer or go somewhere else." WOW... All he had to say is, "That is pretty competitive and, unfortunately, we can't compete with that offer." Needless to say, we switched to Verizon. read more

I took over a business in Nov 2019 and transferred the account to me. Found a MUCH better deal with right away and ported my number and service. During the November transfer and recent cancellation, no one from AT&T ever mentioned a certain time frame I must stay with them or an extreme $250 early termination fee (even with the 2 hr call to transfer the service to my name). This is ridiculous and if it's not waived, I will never do business with AT&T again. Trying to get a hold of someone at AT&T with common sense is impossible. Even when I dropped off my equipment at UPS, the UPS worker said "Keep your receipt b/c AT&T WILL TRY AND CHARGE YOU saying you didn't turn in the equipment" What a terrible reputation! read more

I'm not sure what to make of this location. I feel like they bait and switched on me, over-promising and under-delivering. I came in looking for a quote to switch over adding my line to my wife's AT&T account. I was considering abandoning my Sprint service of 18+ years in hopes of better overall service and coverages. Granted dealing with the Sprint store in Brighton was reason enough to leave them, but AT&T said that the phone I was bringing over should have had no problems working on their network = FALSE They said I wouldn't need a new phone = FALSE They said the transition would be seamless = FALSE They also said the Samsung A6 I picked was a step above my Galaxy S5 = also FALSE The guys that I dealt with were helpful and polite and nice, but overall I wish I had stayed with Sprint. I was simply trying to save a little money for my family, potentially upgrade my cell coverage a little beyond Sprint's access and it turned into a total SNAFU that left me without cell service for a week requiring 6 visits and several hours' time at their store, and then on top of that a new phone ta boot. To compensate me the manger offered me a $25 credit which was appreciated. However considering I had to invest in a new phone I'm still out well over $400 that I was told I wouldn't need to spend which was one of the two reasons my wife didn't just switch to my Sprint account. The SNAFU, at least in part was Sprint's fault, but the salespeople at AT&T did their job selling me on their service without actually meeting the expectations they sold me on. As it stands I'll ride it out for now but fair warning...do a better job than I did making sure your transition is actually seamless if you plan on switching. 2.5 stars read more

Don't confuse this location with the other ATT store in Brighton. The customer service we experienced with the representatives here was very impressive. Brandy assisted us in setting up new cell service and scheduling new cable and internet service for a new home purchase. She was extremely patient and had our best interests in mind when helping us choose the right service and plans for us. She even remembered our names when we came back in a few weeks later for a question. We would recommend this location to anyone needing new service or assistance with existing service. I go in every month to pay my bill. And always get harassed about adding features and raising my bill etc etc even after saying no respectfully the first 3 times. read more
