Wanted to get a specific model of new phone and was told that not only did they not have it, but that I shouldn't buy it because it was a bad choice (reviews were good), and I should just buy an iPhone 6. So, well, cool-- another wireless shopping experience which you're going to tell me that I have to buy an iPhone 6 because that's what all of the cool kids are doing. The short of it is that I think this Sprint store is only adept at selling customers on stuff. The last time I visited my number was assigned to a family member when I never asked for that, causing hours of customer service calls and eventually a visit to the service store at Oak Valley to undo. Upon today's visit, the guy who I think is the manager gave me a super crappy look as I entered. When I approached the desk to attach my old phone's number to my 6s, I was redirected to another store. The service here fails and being glared at when I enter makes me feel unwelcome. Never doing business here again. It's terrible. read more

I have been a Sprint customer since the mid-80s, so you can understand the crap that I have put up with walking into and out of Sprint stores. Yesterday, my Sprint world changed thanks to Magdi and the Generation Mobile operated Sprint store in Ann Arbor. I had to reactivate my son's iPhone (stolen and recovered) and it couldn't have been easier. Madgi was fantastic and everything was taken care of in an instant. He also understands the Sprint "maze" and answered each of our questions. I live in Farmington Hills and will not hesitate to travel to Ann Arbor when I need to visit a Sprint store. read more

These guys are the best. I came in to start a line with Sprint and Majdi (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was extremely helpful in setting me up. I came here to get a phone without having to wait for an online order and I'm so glad I did. Majdi helped me find discounts for my sprint plan which I would have had no idea about had I ordered online, and when I came back two weeks later he remembered me and was a huge help again! The staff is knowledgable, friendly but above all EXTREMELY helpful. I feel bad for not getting my phone case here to throw them more business, so I'm writing this review to make up for it. These guys have helped me out of many a jam; when I lost my phone, they suggested I bring in my old one and just set it up w/my phone number. I didn't really need to buy a fancy new one. They talk you through everything, and when you leave, you have working phones. And yes, the wait is shorter and they are polite. They don't talk down to women, either! Woot! We could've gone anywhere, but we keep coming back. Great service is the reason. read more

I went here the last time I was due for a Sprint phone upgrade(in 2011). I was unsure about selecting a phone on this day and even now regret the decision. They talked me into upgrading by promising me that they would take care of processing my claim for the $100 rebate I was due. Of course this did not happen and because the promotion was over, I had no recourse through Sprint. They made empty promises and pretty much stole $100 from me. I cannot recommend this sprint store to anyone. read more

The owner and employees at this Sprint store couldn't make mobile phone business and all the headaches that come with it any easier. They are honest, fast, professional, and very knowledgable. Love coming to this Sprint store for 2 reasons; Its right by Michigan Stadium and no one really comes here because of that reason. Got my iPhone 6s Friday afternoon and I only had to wait 20 minutes!!! They fed me pizza and snacks. I guess I'm a valued customer lol. read more

This is the only Sprint store I'll go to. These guys have spent lengthy periods of time helping me sort out account issues on multiple occasions. The last time I was there Will D. spent over an hour on the phone with Sprint Customer Care when I needed an replacement phone making sure that I got the best deal possible and getting them to correct some charges etc..These guys consistently go above and beyond. read more

the people who work here are extremely helpful and friendly. they helped me find a phone bill discount through my job. then my phone was running slow and they helped me fix the problem over the phone. they seem to know what they're talking about, unlike most sprint stores i've been to. the wait here is also a lot shorter than other stores. i really like this place. i highly recommend. read more

I used them several times because I thought I preferred the personal service and informal setting of a third-party provider to the Apple Store. What a mistake. They "accidentally" uploaded the entire contents of my phone, mail, and apps to an employee's personal device, after which the employee repeatedly contacted me directly to give my password up to resolve issues this caused for her. Incompetent and unprofessional. Apple, Sprint, and independent computer consultants were all appalled that this could happen, and that the store never did anything--NOT ONE THING--to acknowledge wrongdoing or error, or to give me assurances of any kind that my information was not compromised, much less make it up to me in any way. One of the worst retail nightmares ever. Honestly, the place should be shut down, but I did not take it further. read more

I bought my first cell phone from these folks nine years ago, and appreciate their service so much I would never go anywhere else. I am sure that they are doing everything that is required from a great Sprint retailer. For example, they are super-knowledgeable; know my needs as a customer and go to great lengths to meet those needs (including scaling back plans when it would save me money); wait times have never been an issue; they take the time to make sure I understand what I am signing up for; and I have never left the store without getting what I came for - whether it makes them money or not. But they do much more than provide great Sprint service. They are truly members of the community and, from my understanding, make an effort to give back. A simple example is allowing a local information booth to set up in their (quite limited) parking lot when the street is full of out-of-towners going to football games. Not to mention the charitable giving I have heard about through the grapevine. Back to cell-phones (because that is what we're really talking about) I know that they have taken their personal time to have an older member of the community who is less technologically savvy drop off his phone so that they can enter the numbers of his contacts for him. And the same folks have been running this shop, with many of the same employees, since before I started doing business with them. These folks are the kind of people who remember your name even though you haven't seen them for two years. These are the things that make this a real Ann Arbor phone store, and not just another franchise. read more

Best Sprint store i have found in the ann arbor area. they dont force you to make a purchase, they are so willing to help you, go beyond expected for your needs. although I am no longer a Sprint customer, I want to give credit to this location for their honesty. the 2 young gentlemen that helped me both times i came in were phenomenal, I hope their boss appreciates what kind of employees he has there! read more

Went to this store because Verizon irritated me one too many times and I wanted to check out my options. I did not really think I would jump from Verizon to Sprint, just wanted to compare and probably end up living with Verizon's non-responsive style. These Sprint guys (James and Will) were so cool and helpful, and the price reduction was so significant that I got very interested. They explained their best deal for my family of 4 - including leasing the new phones and getting twice as much data, I would pay $60 less a month. And they would pay the termination charges from Verizon. Still, switching is a pain so I decided to give Verizon one more chance (all I wanted, as a 15 year customer, was a new phone two months early at the discounted price) - Verizon guy on the phone wanted to argue with me when I laid out what I wanted in order to stay, trying to convince me that although they would not give me what I wanted, they were still a responsive company. So, I hung up and took the Sprint deal. After three months, everything has gone smoothly - not a single problem with the switch, with the bill, with the paying of the termination charges, etc. New phones are great, and no problems with coverage between southeast Michigan and Cleveland. Looking back, what made the biggest difference were Will and James - showing right from the beginning that they were there to help in a low key and convincing way. Verizon tried to talk me into thinking they were responsive, but these guys showed from the beginning that they and Sprint were in fact responsive. read more
