I believe we were "helped" by Kyle on Monday. Arrived at 9:40 am expecting most stores are open by 9 but when we got to the door he ran over and quickly locked the door as we tried to open the door, not realizing they weren't open yet. No smile just a glare. We left and came back later and were treated so rudely we ended up walking out. If you are not making them a commission don't bother going to the store In Grants Pass. If you want to waste your time and get poor service take a trip to this store. Don't bother calling ahead because they can't actually be bothered to help you or look to see if they have what you are looking for. I asked several times what the difference in the iPhone air was and it wasn't until I said what about this or this did the person actually give me any useful information. They add services that you tell them that you don't want. My wife and I upgraded our phones this year and both times they added insurance and Next Up which is prepaying for upgrading your phone in 18 months. We told them we did not want only to find out they added it anyway. It took several calls to AT&T to correct the problem. They are not a corporate store so it creates a problem at AT&T when you try to correct problems they cause. read more

Beware of dishonest salesmen at this ATT store on Agness St. in Grants Pass trying to sell you devices or services (extra lines, insurance, "free" products) for "free" or that are "required" that you will be charged for later on your bill. We've had nothing but great experiences in the past at this store (in the past purchased a cellphone and an ipad), but had to file a complaint through the Better Business Bureau this month to be refunded $460 for a "free" ipad that was pushed on my husband and I when all we wanted was a new cellphone. Not to mention the cellphone insurance that was "required" along with the phone. The ATT corp - who has nothing to do with this independently owned store - refunded our money ultimately. We can now never deal with this convenient, local store again. Such a dishonest, disheartening experience with one particular salesman. read more

Read the rest of the reviews! I really don't like to leave bad reviews, I like to leave room for people having a bad day, but the folks here at AT&T have forced me to make and exception. I'll spare you the blow by blow but here are some of the highlights: 1. Two trips to fix my working but suddenly unconnected to a cellular network phone. First was right after they opened at 10am. Sole clerk present spends 40 minutes setting up new phone plan for first customer. I am #3. Watch customer after customer come in and leave. After 45 minutes sole clerk finally gets to me. As soon as she begins telling me she can't (won't) help. Two minutes more clerks magically appear from a back room and begin socializing. Apparently they've been there the entire time I waited and customer after customer came and left, frustrated with the wait time and "single" clerk. 2. Second trip, same day. Nothing changed. Same clerk now troubleshoots phone to no avail. Asked to call 800 number. Transferred three times and hung up on after half and hour on phone. Went home to try 800 number from there. After looking at the other reviews online nothing surprises me about what I read. I hope you're looking before you wasted your time going there like I did. read more

The salespersons are poorly dressed, bad teeth, meth pockmarks, Multiple face pierces, cheep tattoos, and they speak poorly. Truth. That being said,.. they're also pushy, rude, hungry fast-talkers,.. working for commission. Phone deals are awful at this store. They're also Mean and Cruel. They said either 1) You're stupid, 2) You don't want to save money, or 3) You're calling them a liar for not agreeing to deal/upgrades they offer. They showed me a deal, until hooked then a Bait & Switch. Poof.! The deal changes, details are exposed. Done to me yesterday. Went by this store today at 3pm today... they had a piece of paper on the window saying "on mandatory break" from 2:30 to 3:30. This is crazy. There were two employees standing inside talking on their phones. They didn't even acknowledge us at the locked door. Very poor customer service. read more

Wish I would have gotten the rep's name, but both times I went him he was the one who helped me, and he was so rude and unhelpful. At one point during the conversation, I said "I know it's not your fault, but this is the problem I'm having and I'm frustrated by it." He didn't know how to fix it (based off what I told him alone, he didn't even try to troubleshoot it himself on his end) and ended our conversation with, "Like you said, it's not my fault." The worst customer service ever! Was told the phone would be free through a special deal. I was charged for the phone and spent 10 months trying to get Jay to make it right. I called every couple of weeks, went to the store and wanted for Jay to return, send text messages and nothing was done. I had a similar issue as Jordin L. The rep bulldozed his way into my conversation with the salesgirl who was verbally belittled and treated like a trainee (she wasn't). He barely listened to anything I said. Six times I had to state that I did not want and WOULD NOT switch to paperless billing. I wound up physically turning my back on him, talking very pointedly to the salesgirl and emphasizing how helpful she was, and that she didn't need to have any training for correct retail customer service. Said I would be searching out which store Chris (the former manager) was transferred to in Medford and I wished her the best of luck advancing in the company. And left. Without once more acknowledging the rep. I wish I remembered his name, but when I messaged corporate I could only identify him as the red headed bully who peacocked about clearly only caring about making a quota. read more

Showed up to the store shortly before they are supposed to open which is supposed to be at 9am. At 9:15 I left since I don't want to sit around and wait them out. If your hours are a certain time you should probably open the store near that time. Just sayin. Update... Their store front has hours starting at 10 AM however online it shows that they open up at 9 AM read more

DO NOT GO HERE! THE WORST STORE IN THE HISTORY OF ANY CELL PHONE COMPANY! The employees are terrible and they are out to screw you over! the manager lady is the worst of them all! directly lying to your face about what she can and cannot do to help you. this con artist does whatever she feels like and screwed up my phone plan up so bad that it jumped over double the price! I went back to fix it and she didnt do a damn thing. she pawned me off and told me to go call ATT directely. i've watched her be rude to other customers as well. her attitude is unbelievable and unacceptable. she lied to me again and would not honor a corporate promotion that the company was having! its a corporate promotion for a reason... all stores nationwide do it! but her... no way. not honoring anything at her store. my phone bill is through the roof now. solid way to screw over a military vet. i hope she reads this because i dont know how someone like this can sleep at night being such a horrible person. read more

AT&T wow where to even begin, a company that sends "third party" sales people to your house when you are in the middle of a move and having your DIRECTV installed and making an appealing sales pitch to have you switch to AT&T wireless with the promise of big savings and upgrades on devices..be wise unlike me in a fleeting moment of poor judgment and lack of research, 1 month after transfer from Verizon to AT&T nothing but an absolute nightmare, no customer service, phone not working properly after transfer, unauthorized charges on the bill, we've spent upwards of 40 hours between phone support and in person at local AT&T store to no avail, just a whole lot of passing it off to another department. It's absolutely appalling that a company like AT&T operates this way. Do yourself a favor if an "in home expert" shows up at your door slam it shut especially if that person is Shane Joiner, the guy is a scam artist who shows up in a company AT&T car but good luck getting anyone from AT&T to acknowledge the dude even exists. Because he's "3rd party" with his company logo vehicle and AT&T ID!
