The guys were nice. However they replaced my screen , after my phones keyboard was broken. Not happy, and they weren't very intrigued to help even though they agreed my phone was broken. Said that the screens were probably not compatible.... then why would you use it? Would never go back. read more

I took my phone to US Cellular last week with a cracked screen. They quoted me $200 to fix it. Chat Cat was running a special and charged me $55. I got it back the next day, looks great! Today I found my charger wasn't working. I didn't know if my phone or the charger was the problem. Turned out it was my charger. Got a replacement for $20-with a longer cord than the one that came with the phone. Chris was able to see that the charger had a broken part. New charger worked great! I've gotten good service from this store every other time I've gone in there. Today was very different, the worker 'Maria' was unprofessional and rude. I commented on how the corner of the screen protector wasn't attached she said "some workers won't even put them on for you". I wouldnt have bought it if that were the case. I've gotten multiple screen protectors from this store and they have placed them for me every time without complaining. She then threw the trash in an area where the can used to be then turned to the other worker 'Brian' and told him to pick it up. She is not a good employee. read more

So disappointed! I had received a replacement phone from T-Mobile (original had been damaged). Since there are no T-Mobile stores in this area to set my phone up for me (as they have done in the past), I asked Jesse if he would set up my new phone, transfer my data from the broken phone to the new one, and "wipe" the old phone clean. He seemed very friendly and sold me a tempered glass cover for the new one. When I picked the new phone up, I asked if the old one had been "wiped" as requested. The salesgirl on duty called Jesse, who said he had "spaced it", so I left the old phone once again, to be cleared of data as previously requested. Once I began using the new phone, I realized that the only thing I could see that had been transferred were some photos. My contact list was a mess!! It was not as it was at all. It had become synched with Facebook and email....something I did not want! So, I have to try to recreate my list myself. Nothing else transferred...APPS, accounts, logins, nothing! I had to completely re-create my phone MYSELF. As far as setup was concerned, I had to completely set the phone up MYSELF from factory settings. So...I spent $50.00 for transferring 155 photos...and nothing else. I brought all this to their attention when I went to pick up the HOPEFULLY "wiped" old phone...(for the second time), and still no Jesse to talk to. I told the sales clerk on duty that, at this point, I wanted to know just exactly what HAD been done? What had I paid $50.00 for? She said she would have Jesse call me. He never did. I was led to believe I would have my new phone basically mirror the old one. That's why I took it there. I was willing to pay to avoid all the aggravation of reloading APPS, setting up, etc. In the end, I'm the one who did all of that....but I'm light $50.00 in the process. read more

Well try calling. Their phone number is not even use. Try calling At&T Directory Asst. on your At&T phone and the recorded person is impossible to understand. Try calling At&T direct, the guy says he needs to text me a new code no. Why, I don't know. I said I will lose the call if I answer your text while on the phone. He says, no you won't. I lost it. Did he call me back - NO!! I was trying to reach someone just to get Direct TV. That was the beginning of all this terrible service. The Direct TV guy from somewhere in the Punjab says he will email me the whole list of programs I can get. Does he email me the list? NO! What terrible service all the way through. And what a terrible company. What has happened to good customer service in this country? It's gone. Last time I went to the Chat Cat store about my phone, the guy would hardly let me leave due to the fact he wanted me to get Direct TV. I finally escaped. read more

Don't go here! I took my phone in with a cracked screen and broken touch screen. I was sold a new screen and told it could 99% be fixed but on the chance it couldn't, I would pay the $50 service fee. I was skeptical but told there was a slim chance it wouldn't be fixed. Reluctantly after much reassuring that the phone could be fixed, I paid. I was called by another sales person explaining it couldn't be fixed because of a known glitch in the iphone. He said I should have sent it to Apple who could fix it for $120. I asked why the 1st guy didn't tell me that and was told he must not be trained properly. When I picked up the phone, I was charged $50, treated very rudely and guy #1 told me he didn't give me correct info because he had anxiety and was suicidal! I'll be contacting the manager but the two salesmen informed me to leave since he wouldn't be avail for 3 weeks. Seriously, I felt like I was dealing with 2 lying 14 year olds. read more

I'm rating this place with a 0. As in Zero knowledge about products Zero customer service and Zero ethics. My wife and I recently moved here from the mid west to remote location between Grants Pass and Rogue River where cell phone service is minimal. My wife stopped in to inquire about a proper cell phone booster for the house to improve the signal. Well the sales associate lets say thief 1 sold her a signal booster for a car not a house.. my wife returned and a sales associate lets say thief 2 sold her a kit that takes the cell phone booster for a car and makes it for "office use". Reluctantly we tried it and wouldn't you know it IT DIDN'T WORK EITHER. So after a conversation about a 14 day return policy which we were under the 13 days, Chat Cat "thief central" states they MUST CHARGE A RESTOCKING FEE". A restocking fee on an item that doesn't work? An item your thief associates recommended for a job that it was never intended for. Really AT&T Really Chat Cat? Save your money STAY AWAY! read more

I went into the store and bought a phone holder for my iPhone the holder did not work in my car I brought it back the next day with my receipt they would not refund it or exchange it for another product because they don't do it for that brand. all they said was too bad. the employees are very rude. I was in there trying to find a phone for my father in law because he does not know how to use smart phones. I was looking for a very basic phone and they were commited to selling me a more advanced phone saying things like "they are very easy for the elderly to learn on" and "they are more simple than you think". I told them repeatedly that my father in law does not know anything about technology and that he needs a phone that can simply just make calls....right around that time a dominos delivery driver comes in and the clerk helping me does not even acknowledge that the poor guy is there waiting to give him his food. the delivery driver trys to get his attention in a very nice way and the clerk, before even greeting him or saying hi, reaches out and grabs the clipboard. I watched him fill out the receipt and saw that he did not even tip the pizza guy no cash either. it just goes to show what kind of people are working there. the other guy working was also giving me the same run around and I told them they need to work on there customer service and pay more attention to the needs of there customers. I am a very polite and respectful person and I give everyone a couple chances before I tell them off. p.s......always tip the pizza guy. read more

This store sold me a black-listed phone. From US Cellular: The phone is either stolen, has been reported lost, or has a large collections lien against it. MOST unhappy with this situation. Going back tomorrow for a refund, and if it's refused, I may proffer charges for selling stolen property. Let's hope they are willing to refund me. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! We took an iPad that worked fine but had a cracked screen to this store. After the repair and getting the iPad home nothing worked on the screen. You would push the buttons but nothing would happen. We returned the iPad to Chat Cat and they claimed that we had damaged the screen. We had removed the iPad from the bubble rap and that was it. They pointed out that the screen was not fitting properly. It was obvious that their technicians had done a poor job of replacing the screen and had damaged the iPad. They stated that WE had done something to the iPad. They refused to stand behind their work (no offer to fix it or refund their charges) It's obvious that their technicians are inexperienced and do shabby work. Unless you want your equipment broken beyond repair and an establishment that won't stand behind their work, don't go there! They are inexperienced, poor business practices and dishonest.
