Christopher M. at Verizon deserves serious recognition from leadership. I've been dealing with an…read moreaccount issue for over four months and spoke with more than 15 Verizon employees without getting it resolved. Christopher stepped in and fixed everything in under 45 minutes. He was incredibly efficient, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. After so many frustrating attempts to solve this issue, Christopher was by far the most competent and helpful representative I encountered. To be clear, these five stars are for Chris, not Verizon as a whole. Christopher, and employees like him, deserve to be recognized internally and considered for advancement or promotion. Chris represents the level of service Verizon needs to strive for. Thanks to him, I am able to remain a loyal customer to Verizon.

I was on vacation and needed a battery charger and fresh battery for my digital camera. The…read moreclosest option was Batteries Plus. The people there seemed perplexed by my request. I did bring my camera with me. They sold me the correct battery and a "universal" charger (only one they had). I made sure it fit in my camera. I asked them to try to charge it before I left because I got the impression that it had been on the shelf for some time. They couldn't get it to charge, and said their port wasn't really reliable, but assured me that I could return it to my local store (in Jacksonville) if it didn't work when I got back to the hotel. When I got to the hotel and plugged it in, I saw no indication that it was charging. When I tried again the prongs that slide to accommodate the battery broke. I had been very gentle, as it looked flimsy right out of the package. I tried rubber banding the battery into the charger and still no charge. I'm out $99. When I got home and tried to return it I found that most locations were closed in my area. I found the closest one on Beach Blvd and they took the charger back but wouldn't take the battery and only offered store credit. It makes no sense to drive back to the store where I got it while on vacation as it's 5 hrs away. Not impressed to say the least!

I've been a Verizon customer for years but recently got an offer from a competitor that was good…read moreenough to make me walk into the Baymeadows store and give Verizon a chance to keep my business. They tried. They came close on price (not quite there) but sweetened the deal with a "new" phone...enough to convince me to stay. A few days later, my hotspot stopped working. That's not a small issue for me, as I work fully remote with international hours and rely on it multiple times a week. So back to the store I went! Visit number two is where everything unraveled. I was told the previous employee had downgraded my service without my consent, disabled my hotspot, and set me up to be charged for the "free" phone (none of which matched what we agreed to). To make matters worse, that "new" phone already had multiple dead pixels within two weeks, despite never being dropped. Then it somehow got worse. The employee helping me this time said he'd "take care of me," but instead spent the entire interaction hitting on me while he had full control of my phone (including all my personal information). Repeated comments about how "attractive" and "photogenic" I am, pushing to see photos - not for anything remotely work-related, but clearly fishing for personal selfies. It was uncomfortable, inappropriate, and completely unprofessional. I left feeling gross. And at the end of the month? The exact same bill I was trying to leave in the first place. So, what did I get out of this experience? Unauthorized changes to my plan, a damaged phone, broken promises, and 30+ minutes of blatant sexual harassment. Just don't. Trust.

Jordan made sure that we understood everything especially our options for saving money. Nowadays people don't ask or read the receipt until they don't like something but cellphones are expensive and it's better ask than to regret ur purchase. Plus u need to be informed about how the discounts and plans really work. Jordan answered my questions and also made sure to ask if I had any additional questions. He really made the whole phone buying purchase easy and painless.

I had to go back and pay the difference for an "Apple" screen which wasn't really Apple. The screen became pixelated, had a spot on the corner that blew then gave a black and green screen only 2 months later. It was supposedly under a 4 month warranty but the lady refused to touch it, fix it, take off the screen or replace it under warranty. She said it was damaged but could not prove any damage as there was no damage! The problem was their rip off "Apple" screen that they installed. She offered a "deal" to replace it. Ha!
