Don't stop in here if you want to hold, look at, play with, et cetera any electronics. My husband has been wanting to upgrade his iPad and was thinking about the new larger size iPad Pro. Oh, they carry them, they just don't have any on display for you to look at or compare. They also don't have any phones except a select few out for review. The shop is basically empty except for a few chairs and a wall full of accessories for the items you might already own. The staff was not very helpful either. When we told them why we were there he gave us the measurements of the iPad's, but could not show us one, but picked up his laptop and said, "it's a little smaller than this." Again, not very helpful when trying to determine if the weight/size is what you want. But he sure offered to sell us one to take home! No thanks. Want to see what we're buying first. Highly recommend doing any and all Verizon trade ins / etc within your app. Do not go to this location... not only will they lie but you will have to deal with their mistakes in office AND after getting home. Went in for a basic upgrade and was there 5 hours. I could tell you Taylor's life story but I'll focus on all the mistakes. 1 hour of my time was spent with him grabbing the wrong GB phone so my old phone wouldn't transfer everything over. After an hour of him resetting and updating and trying to figure out my phones problem... he figured out it was his. 1 hour was spent with him having to return the wrong phone and drive to another location to get the right phone. 1 hour was spent with him figuring out how to give us home internet because he had it for our address and then magically it disappeared. At this point he had me use my parents address as a work around (found out that's NOT OKAY!!). I specifically told him we needed 5G or it was a no. The other 2 hours were dealing with paperwork, the beginning where I came in and told him I was looking to trade in my phone, and the transferring of my old phone to the new phone. He proceeded to tell me at the end of the data transfer to bring my phone into office in a couple days and they'll send it off. Fast forward to the following day -- he gave us LTE home internet. I suppose when he switched addresses it dropped the coverage but why would he care? He was getting a bonus for getting someone to sign up for internet. *insert a month of us having to deal with cancelling it and ordering return box without being charged for it because it's NOT what we asked for*. Two days later I brought my old phone in to be sent off.... Turns out he was supposed to give me a shipping label. He did not. The woman there at that point had to call customer service to get them to go through a roundabout process to redo my trade in to resend a new label because it had been more than 48 hours (1 more hour of our time at this location). Fast forward 2 months later and we were told they never received my phone.... HA. 1.5 hours of time on customer service line with them trying to find the phone and then find the promotion because it wasn't placed on the account........ SO. They found the phone but because it was sent by this retailer without proper documentation from the label they got it had fallen into the warehouse abyss. Long long story short: to avoid headaches for months on end please go quite literally anywhere else and DO NOT WORK WITH TAYLOR!!!! read more

We went in with a plan to change our mobile service. Steve took the time to go over the mobile plans to find us a comparable plan. It took us two weeks to make a decision, checking phones and options, yet he remains patient and responded to every question we had. He went over the different phones and deals for what would fit our family the best. We feel that he went above and beyond, saving us money where it could be saved. He walked us through enabling our discounts and how to enable our plans add-ons. He made the trade-in process easy. Anytime we go back, we will check to see if Steve is working first. read more

Kyle Geary was our Verizon salesman and he was a huge help when we went into the Verizon store in Fleming Island, FL on 08/20/2021. When my family of 4 signed up for Verizon in early 2021 we all got iPhone 12's. One of the principal reasons we got these phones was because there was a buy-one-get-one free promotion going on, so two free iPhone 12's sounded really good. However, something went wrong with our promotion when it booked in Verizon's system because we ended up getting a half off of the 2nd phone when you purchase an iPhone 12, which was a promotion that was also going on at the same time. So, since we signed on with Verizon, we have been paying about $33 extra per month. Kyle worked diligently to help solve our problem, and while he was not able to get it fixed that day, he did explain in detail the steps that he would take to get the issue resolved. Kyle also gave us his direct contact info, so we can follow up with him. We wound up purchasing two Apple watch 6's from Kyle that day and he was able to get us $300 off these purchases, as well as lowering our data plan monthly expenses on the watches from $10 to $5. Every dollar helps! At the time we came in the Verizon store, it wasn't too busy, and we sat down with Kyle immediately. However, the store became slammed very quickly, and while Kyle had to spend a lot of time with us, he was also able to manage the busy retail situation very proficiently and professionally; all while still catering to our needs. Just FYI, everyone should know that the salespeople at the Verizon stores do not actually work for Verizon directly; they are contracted employees. So, if you have customer service issues, the Verizon store employees will most likely be more knowledgeable about how to solve your problem, but they will not have any magic codes or numbers to call to get your issue resolved. They have to call the Verizon customer service number just like everyone else. However, if you do have a complicated issue like the one we have with our promo being the wrong one on our account, there are a certain number of direct Verizon employees assigned geographical to help solve these problems. As I understand it there only 2 of these direct Verizon employees assigned to the area I live in, which is the southern suburbs of Jacksonville, FL, and it may actually only be 2 direct Verizon employees for all of Jacksonville, which is a city of $2.5 million people. Also, as I understand it, these direct Verizon employees are not always the easiest people to work with; as I can only imagine the amount of complaints they have to deal with. Regardless, I know that Kyle had to wait to reach out to one of his assigned Verizon direct employee, because the one that was available is horrible and not likely to be much help. The name of the Verizon direct employee that Kyle was going to have to wait to reach out to is named Katie (I think?). If I got that name right, then I wanted to go ahead and say thank you to Katie for being someone that the Verizon store salespeople can rely on,l; that must be very comforting for them to know they at least have one person at Verizon they can go to when a customer has a difficult issue that needs to be resolved. So here we go, called this Verizon store inquiring about a new IPhone XSmax to get for my wife as a surprise. "Yes we have them in stock" is the answer I get over the phone. You need to pay taxes "and fees" to take the phone home today. So I stop in the store and continue my dealings with Dan. Paid the $125 after turning down the insurance addition. Later review of the bill says I paid $35 for "device setup". There was ZERO that was done to this phone other than Dan taking the plastic off. So I called and was told "you really want this money back"? Well yeah Dan you didn't do anything other than take off plastic, yeah I want my freaking $35 back. "Well that's the fee for the things we do here at the store". No Dan that's a BS charge you put on my bill to make some money for yourself. So now I will tell everyone I know to stay FAR FAR away from this crooked store and the crooked (slightly below uses car salesmen slime) salesmen that inhabit it. Love Verizon will NEVER AGAIN frequent this store. I suggest you do the same. read more

I just went into work to purchase a flip phone for my brother who is visually impaired and needed a new phone. There were 2 people working in the store. The young man who waited on me was rude and disrespectful. I was explaining what I needed, and he rudely said "Can I Talk". The other employee was sitting on his phone and laughing. When I walked out the door they were laughing at me. Will never purchase anything from that store again. Totally unprofessional. read more
