He got me set up with a new iPhone in less than 20 minutes. It would have been even faster if he didn't have to recover the PIN number I couldn't remember. Total scam store! Both my husband and I have had very bad experiences. Today I went for an issue with my tablet which they could not resolve. 15 minutes afer I left I got a text from ATT thanking me for purchasing a $25 a month Home Tech Protection. I purchased and signed nothing, just talked to them. I spent one hour on phone with ATT trying to get it removed. Also hubby went last week to activate a new phone that ATT had shipped us. They somehow forgot to install the sim card and he had no service. Required another trip to town to resolve. read more

Just a friendly warning: this business will take payment for services without having a doctor or X-ray technician available that day. After receiving payment, they inform you there is no doctor on staff. Why take payment and not hang a sign stating "No doctor in office today"? It seems misleading and unprofessional. They're like a contracted store. This store has very incompetent people who seriously screwed up our bill/plan. We were charged $180 for two lines!!! Then they separated our third line into a separate account for whatever reason and didn't attached our automatic payment method to it. Since we didn't know they had separated the third line it wasn't getting paid in addition to the $180 that they charged us for the two lines! We would call them and they said that they fixed the issue and issued a credit to our credit card only be charged the following month another $180!!! WTF!! We finally went to the AT&T store by Target were they told us that they get a lot of problems and complaints from that specific AT&T store. FINALY the AT&T store by Target got our plan/bill all settled. Skip the unskilled, unofficial AT&T store and just save time and go to the official store by Target. read more

First time at this location. No signs posted about health safety and masks. We received no greeting, the customers after us received no greeting. We waited patiently and I had a gentlemen walk up and tell me to put on a mask after ten minutes of standing in the store. I obliged. 20 minutes later still no greeting. The man who asked me to wear a mask has his down at his chin. His name is Cesar. I found this out after the at&t phone was finally answered. When I come here formerly being in this industry I am unimpressed. These guys need some customer service training. My husband and I visited this store today to cancel our internet service as we were unable to accomplish this online and were on hold for over a half hour with the 800 number. We have had only negative experiences with AT&T in the past, but our interaction with Cesar at this location restored some of our faith. He willingly took up our cause despite the fact that it is not part of his job description. Apparently, being that the store is not a corporate one, they don't deal with this type of issue. However, he called on our behalf while taking care of another customer, showing amazing multitasking skills. We were surprised and pleased that he was able to terminate our internet service for us. It took a load off our minds and relieved us of the necessity of dealing with any corporate types or being on eternal hold. We will never use AT&T again, but we were very impressed with Cesar and his exemplary customer service. I hope the company recognizes him for his superlative skills! read more

This was my 2nd successful visit to this location. I didn't review last time, so I want to make sure to do so today. We went around 3 pm on a weekday. No appointment required. This must be a miserable business to be in. I have been very unhappy with other providers, but at this eastern Escondido shop they have always taken their time and patience with me and my phones. I bought an unlocked Google Pixel 7a online at the recommendation of 2 sons. Following the Google start up and transfer instructions was surprisingly easy--and successful. Only glitch was self imposed - I didn't want to disconnect from the internet until I could confirm all data, photos and apps had made it onto the new phone. They had. So then we went to the ATT store . I worried that having bought the phone directly from Google, that I might run into difficulties. No problems! Internet activation was smooth. The technician was kind to us 2 seniors and knowledgeable on the process. I hope everyone who goes to the ATT store on E. Valley Parkway has a successful experience as well. read more

Got a new iPhone a month ago and had trouble with my phone cutting off while talking to people. A very nice girl helped - instead of coming into the store she told me to hold a few buttons, etc. I was driving so wasn't able to do it right then and there. Called the following day and got a guy and explained the situation. He told me to soft reset the phone. I asked him how to do that and THIS LAME ASS DUDE TOLD ME TO JUST GOOGLE IT and pretty much rushed me off the phone. Lmao sucky customer service. he literally must hate his job, smh. read more

RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL AND VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. By far the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE of my life. The GUY IN GLASSES who apparently was not even liable to give me his name (wasn't even wearing a badge either) was not even bothering to listen to our problem and request. Our Situation: I had recently switched over to AT&T from T-Mobile and one of the four SIMs mailed to us was not working so I just needed a replacement SIM. The LADY who was helping us WAS NICE and she is the one who asked us 2 days earlier to come after 48 hours so she could help us, so there we were after 48 hours doing our best to explain the desperate need of the replacement SIM but this GUY WITH GLASSES butt in and DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO LISTEN to what we were requesting. He started SPEAKING OVER ME and argued with me that I'm NOT EVEN HIS CUSTOMER BECAUSE I GOT SERVICE OVER THE PHONE and I should call customer service. I told him that WE NEED A REPLACEMENT SIM card, that's all, and customer service can't provide me that (I had already spoken with the customer service). I gave him an example of a similar incident with T-Mobile and getting a replacement SIM but he decided to not even listen and told me to GO BACK TO T-Mobile IF I LIKE THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE MORE! We needed that SIM because my wife needed to go to work the next day. This guy didn't even bother listening and was disrespectful and rude from the start. I called the ATT store at 1201 E. Valley Parkway and spoke to Matt, the store manager. I told him I needed a screen protector and he said to come in. I got there but they didn't have the screen protector that I needed. The screen of my case was so dirty. Matt gallantly took my 3 part case apart and proceeded to clean the whole case until it was as clear and clean as when it was new. They gave me a hard time getting this discount that I was told I qualify for, and now I am forced to over pay these people for cable. I met with a guy who works there and he said I qualify for a discount for the cable, but now I talked to someone else who works there and they said there is no discount that is available, and they also said there is no discount that I qualify for. So now my cable bill is very pricey, and I am still struggling to afford the cable. read more

I just need to RANT for a second about ATT lord help me because I have had enough of these people taking more and more money - shout out to AT&T for being hands down the worst prices, service, and customer service I have ever dealt with. The fact I have to result to blasting a business on fb is enough said. ANYWHO here we go.... From 2018-Present I have had ongoing issues with ATT. Recently, ATT (05/24/2019) alerted me that I was due for an upgrade on my line. I went into the store to receive the upgrade and instead of upgrading my line, they added a third new line to my account. NOT to even mention i brought in my great condition iphone 8plus for a rebate....never even got the rebate credited! they said "you can get 350 for this phone towards the upgrade" ok sweet lets do it i HAND THEM THE PHONE....never got the credit or rebate! This line has a designated # and i did not get any sim card or phone for this extra line that they charged me for. For the last year I have been paying for an extra line that i did not give ATT permission to open a brand new line with a brand new phone. It was only suppose to be an upgrade. They put my current number/sim card into the new phone thus making it impossible for me to cancel any line..in order for me to cancel my line they want me to pay off the device, pay early cancellation fees, and then pay what they called an "inconvenience fee" for wanting to leave in the middle of my installments. AUG 2020 - i canceled a line with ATT that had a phone stolen. I bought a phone for my nanny/roommate and the phone did not get returned. I contacted ATT insurance company to report the phone stolen. Next months bill comes and they are still charging me for this damn phone, so i call ATT and they are making me charge out $400 in order for me to pay off device and cancel the line. At the end of the day i pay them the $400 on top of paying my $235 monthly phone bill...$635 !!!! THEY NEVER CANCELED THE LINE! Still to this day they will not help with that line with the stolen phone at all Finally they froze the line due to inactivity and i had to keep suspending the line to avoid being charged.. I get the occasional service rep that says "hang on i am going to waive your fees" Thus putting me on hold for 30 mins sometimes almost and hour then hanging up./ Anytime I call or try to settle the debt they add on more off the wall charges & then telling me "its not our responsibility you need to handle this" NOT ONCE has ATT done anything to help navigate through this instead ATT will shut my service off (12 days before my bill is due) I pay the fees thinking it was MY fault and then 3 days later i get yet another bill with more charges and more "fees" that have miraculously came up. I have been a customer with ATT FOR YEARS now and have never had issues until the last 2 years. My phone needed an update, I didnt want to update so i kept ignoring the cellular update and had to have ATT reinstate my service and pay a $35 fee all because i wouldn't updae the phone (not even kidding) SO now, I have had to type this up on fb, report a legal claim against ATT, and then contact the BBB and file a complaint because I refuse to fork over $1200+ to leave ATT when I have been trying to leave them for the last 6 months. Anytime I try to leave there's a new charge, a new hidden fee, and a new reason of why I am stuck. GOOD RIDDANCE - thank you again AT&T for the ridiculous amount of money you've taken from a pregnant mother of 2(yes i will pull that damn card)...end rant. read more

My internet has been out for five days! When I call, I get a computer asking questions leading nowhere but suggesting for faster service to go online. Well, after many attempts & several hours I have yet to reach a person or put in a service request. I stopped by the store and they said they couldn't help but to keep trying the 800 number. I've heard of the good customer service that AT&T stores and yesterday I experienced the best. Being 73 with a smartphone (smarter than me) Galaxy Note 8 that somehow collected so many applications that it was a mess. I couldn't answer a incoming call without clearing at least five screen ads just to find I lost the call. I plead my case to the manager and was immediately introduced to a android expert that cleared all the non essential applications. It took a while, but well worth it. I now have a fast response phone and can answer calls immediately. Thanks to the professional team and most courteous manner of treating old veterans with bad eyes I was able to be proud I bought the Note 8 and AT&T as service provider. AT & T as a whole is a complete joke !!! My husband and I signed up a little over 2 years on a bundle promotion. Since the 2 year term expired we called and down ONE HOUR & 10 Min (I have the call log) trying to modify the services at it was triple the price! We spoke to two representatives who were anything but courteous and they "assured" me the services were modified to only leave WiFi. I asked if there would be an email confirmation reflecting the change and she said no. I also asked why it took nearly an hour and half to do so, she said because their system is slow ?!!! Do yourself a favor - DO NOT CHOOSE AT&T, they are horrible and clearly don't need your business or mine. I just got a payment notification for the same $160 bill that they swore they modified. It has been a stressful time with me working from home and my husband loosing his job- the fact that they are so insensitive to the fact that we do not need all these charges and only need Wifi is very frustrating. I would NEVER recommend AT&T to anyone ! read more

Anyone thinking about going to this AT&T should really think twice. My first experience was with Moises, I had a question about activating my phone and he was completely rude and unprofessional. I left hoping never to see him again. Lo and behold, I go to another AT&T store, the one in North County Mall (Escondido Mall) and to my disbelief he was in there too. I asked if I can reserve the new iPhone 7 since I'm on the Next upgrade plan and he told me, that I couldn't unless I paid the whole phone off. I showed him that I only have to pay up to twelve months and qualify but kept insisting. I left not feeling helped. At the end of the day, I think it all worked out for the better. Because of Moises' ineffectual attitude I finally had the courage to leave AT&T after 9 years, for T-Mobile. I'm paying less per month, worldwide coverage with no extra charge unless you make a voice call (which is nice because being in the military, traveling is a requirement). So the one star is for Moises, if it wasn't for him I'd still be stuck with this horrible experience. read more

If I could give this location a 0 I would.. just signed a contract a couple months ago and every time I call I'm told something different. The bill has been wrong every time. Once I can leave my contract with AT&T I will never go back. I'm also going to cancel my internet and cable because of how horrible there service is. I do not recommend going to this location. Very upset with this location. Everything felt like it went well, but turned out I was misinformed about the contract and a lot that I was getting. Turned out the $5 Next installment plan addition does not pay off the phone sooner, but is a $5 fee to upgrade early. I was told that would be applied to the phone and have it paid off sooner. I was told about a $600 credit I would get for purchasing and opening a new line, turned out I didn't get it. Ohh and the free wireless charger I would get for purchasing a case and screen protector, turned out to be $15.99. So it wasn't free! On top of it, I returned my iPhone 11 Pro Max on January 9th and it still reflects as an active installment plan on my account (as of 01/17/2020). So I'm being charged, and no where in any notes on my account does it state I returned the device. Which I clearly did. I've had to spend hours of my time on the phone with 1800 numbers and the store trying to get this resolved so I could purchase a new phone under my number. I am just very very very unhappy with my experience here and really hope I can get this issue resolved. read more

Terrible customer service. Both times I have been here, first to start a service and second to get help about my service, I have left unhappy. If the employees are well educated about their services it definitely does not show. An answer to my question about why my router is not working was "Do you live in the area? Yeah AT&T is pretty bad around here." The employees never showed any interest in helping me and never had a straight answer to my questions but instead told me to go online to figure it out (which is also not helpful -- just a bunch of automated messages that point nowhere). I wish I had chosen a different internet provider because so far all AT&T has shown me is that they are trash. read more

All three sales representatives were totally clueless on the feature even after I referred to the ATT website where it explained the feature. It's a nice clean store that isn't too busy however they won't accept AT&T equipment even though they are an authorized dealer. You can sign up for their service but forget about trying to get rid of it. They make it so difficult. This guy was trying to help us and now that he couldn't he went and went to another customer without asking if we are done and we are ok. This is bad for business and no professionalism at all.
