If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I have never walked into an establishment before and felt the need to say such a negative review. It first started off with my husband & I walking in to see the price of upgrading our phones and changing phone plans so that we could be on our own phone bill from our families. The lady we were working with was patient about it, but something I should've seen wrong about our transaction was that she was able to pull us off our old plan even though we weren't the account holders. She made a couple calls, and was able to set us up. She asked if I owned a business, which I do have a small business; and offered their Internet plan under their Business line. She signed us up for a Business plan with phone & internet, okay done! After the transaction was done, she said she was going to e-mail the receipt for us. Waited 2-3 days, no e-mail showing what I really paid for and what was charged. I had to personally come into the store to ask for a breakdown bill of what was being charged. What really got me questioning this store's ethics was the fact that my parents gave me a call from a different Verizon store, I spoke to one of their employees and she made me aware that it should not have been possible to remove me from my family plan without the account holder's permission. How did she do it? I don't know. She sounded concerned and mentioned it was not ethical to do. It was already done, so I couldn't go back. I didn't appreciate that once we had the Internet for about a month, it was actually worse than what I had originally. I didn't want to change the Verizon internet plan because it's what made our whole phone line cheap. So upselling us on something that didn't fit into our household needs was something I should've double checked on. Lastly, I turned in my phone for the trade-in price because that's what we originally came to do for upgrading our iPhones. They said it would reflect in the phone bill after 1-2 billing cycles. I waited & waited, probably 3 months and I still didn't notice the changes. I had to LITERALLY go to another Verizon store to check and see if my trade-in promotion applied to my account, and they didn't put it in. Everything got fixed thanks to the Verizon customer service & different store location. Details like this are crucial in maintaining trust in a business, which is why I'm never coming back to this location again. They don't care about the customer, they care about making commission off of you. read more

We had to go back to address an issue caused by other family members on our friends and family account and AJ, Stone and Karissa were all extremely helpful in resolving what an unscrupulous salesperson at a different store set up on my parents line. I came in recently to upgrade my phone. The first visit was great. Very helpful. I left thinking this would be smooth. The pickup is where everything fell apart. I received a text saying my phone was ready for pickup. I showed up and was told I could not get my phone because the rep who sold it to me was not there. There is a three day pickup window. That should mean I can pick it up when it arrives. Instead I was told to come back when that specific rep is in. Completely unacceptable. Then I was told that even though the trade in made the phone free I still had to pay taxes. I understand that taxes exist. What I do not accept is that this was not mentioned upfront. I was sold on free and then told to pay after the fact. Next came a $40 setup fee. We had already discussed a $40 fee being waived as part of the trade in. Apparently that was the activation fee. This new fee was just for them to set up the phone. I said I would do it myself. I was told I would be charged the $40 anyway. So I get charged for a service even if I do not use it. That is wrong. The final blow arrived today. I opened Google Maps and my timeline data was gone. Years of location history. Tracking my hikes, travels, restaurants, life milestone locations. Data that meant a whole lot more to me than the $1,100 phone that was not actually free. It was not transferred. I put in significant effort to recover it and learned it will not be coming back. Years of memories erased. What started as a great experience turned into a headache. Miscommunication. Hidden fees. Lost data. I am angry. This was absolutely unacceptable. read more

I would NOT recommend coming to this store and I would avoid working with Kaden. He is a true salesman and is friendly and speaks as if he's knowledgeable but he is in it for the money and not to help the customer. After my first interaction, I was excited about my new phone, we also purchased the 5g home internet with NFL ticket. The phones were ordered and we were told they would set it up for us, it takes hours so we left and then returned. My bad for not asking if I was being charged for him to put my new phone and old phone side by side to transfer the data. When we returned, we were told "I was able to get you a screen and camera protector and charging blocks since it doesn't come with one". Again, I'll take responsibility for not clarifying that this was at an extra charge, as he already put both items on our phones. We were told our trade in value was $1000 but when we eventually brought the old phones back in, it rang up for $830 because he didn't put it in correctly. We were told our balance after the trade in for the phones would be $300ish each, so when my bill came out to be $700, I thought ok, that seems correct. We had the bill emailed. When I arrived home and checked my email, I never received the bill, I waited and still nothing. My husband dropped his old phone off, asked for a printed out receipt. I finally looked at it. We were charged for him "setting up" the phone, which I've done myself when we've ordered phones and had them delivered. We were charged for the liquid screen protector and the cameras cover, that were placed on our phones before we returned to pick them up, and when I said we didn't need the extra charging blocks but hey, can we get extra cables instead, he said no problem and we were charged for that. All things that he made seem like he "could get us." Then, on top of that, he had no clue about setting up the NFL ticket and gave us the wrong information. We came in with the intention to switch our plans and get new phones. One of our previous plans had the Disney bundle, I asked if getting the new plan with effect that. He said, oh, it's any easy fix I can't just adjust the other plans. Without looking into any of them to see if it was a better option, he cancelled my brothers plan that came with free travel pass days and my nieces plan which included a free phone. So he lost his travel pass and now she was having to pay for her phone because they lost their promotions. Luckily, I was able to get all of that fixed by speaking to an actual Verizon agent. The trade-in value is still an issue, we spoke to other agents and they said oh Kaden has to go into the computer to do it. I spoke to Verizon and they put a ticket in and they were able to fix it. Do yourself a favor and just speak to Verizon directly, I also thought working with someone inperson was more helpful but in this case, it was not only more costly but I've wasted so much time trying to fix what Kaden screwed up. read more

My cell totally not working so my son took me over to our local Verizon store at 6:00 pm. It was during the Verizon black out. But when they were up and working my cell wasn't. Manny was in the store and immediately started working on my new cell phone He is beyond wonderful and he needs a big raise. His customer service was beyond my expectations. I have edited my review as I was able to get my money back from the Verizon store. They never informed me that for shopping at a Verizon reseller, it was standard practice to charge extra fees, which amounted to $100. I personally would never use this store or any Victra / reseller store again as overall, it was an unpleasant experience. What I would say is if you decide to use this store: 1) Ask before buying anything what extra services they will charge you for buying in this store. I was unaware that they said it was standard practice to add on 'setup fees'. 2) Tell them that you will set up your phone yourself, just get the phone and leave. If you do need help, the Apple store at the Escondido mall will help you for FREE. If it is beyond their free services, they will give you an estimate before charging you anything. 3) Get a receipt and double check all charges. They failed to give me a receipt until I came back and asked for it. 4) Let them know that you don't want any changed to your Verizon account. They had changed my account specifically after I said that I needed the services on my specific plan. 5) Check your verizon account after leaving the store to ensure that they didn't add any extra services to the account. They had added a service which is $25/month to my account without asking. 6) If they do charge you extra fees, ask to have them removed. They will tell you that they cannot but they can. read more

Went to pick up a mobile order for a phone purchased a day ago and when I showed up there was nobody there and the doors were locked. We got there at 4:11 pm on a Sunday. DO NOT COME OVER HERE! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. I came here one time and they sold an iPhone and added a case; I did not order. I let it go because I did not mind it at the moment. Then, I came here because I had an issue with my line and he (the guy in the photo) helped me to reactive the line. During the re-activation, he insisted on adding two lines that "were going to be free and would add a $20 discount on my bill" The next bill I got was $160 more per line. Then, he insisted that I needed to upgrade my internet "for free." He said that at my address I could get 5G internet (even telling him that someone told me I could not get 5G internet at my address). I gave him my address and after "he checked he told me I could get 5G." I got home and I noticed that there was a different address not even close to the addresses I've ever had and the internet was extremely slow. He added another address just to sell me the upgraded internet and they ended up charging me $60 more on my bill. Now my bill is almost $500 and I don't have the money to pay it. I went there and kept lying to my face. I trusted him and I said that to him many times when I first went there. He did not care and lied to me. I checked the address myself and I can't get 5G. I noticed that she does this to all Latinos and senior that we're going in. She lies, acts over friendly to get you. Since then though, I have gone back 3 times to try to get help. There has never been more than one person in the store and they have been super busy. I work during the week so The Times I can come in are limited. However, I think a store should always have plenty of people on the weekend. It's a large showroom that offers service. Always smells really stale in this location.... the smell reminds me of mold. The sales associates will go out of their way to help you, but they don't have enough employees working here to support short wait times. I've never had to wait less then 30 minutes to be helped here. So plan ahead. I did think it weird that they don't carry phones with larger than the minimum memory option for each model, but that's probably a corporate policy. So if you are planning of getting a new iPhone, for example, and you want a model with more than 64GB... plan on one trip to order and a second to get the phone. read more

Yes, the $800 phone was free but I had to pay for the data transfer "service fee". I bought the BS ... I wanted to get out of the store after waiting a long time. I was asked to sign his ipad but he showed me no charges. Just said to sign. What he did was nickel and dime me for a bunch of crap I didn't want like my "free screen protector and iphone case" stuff that added up tp $300 because he clearly didn't want to do a free transaction. He put these free things on my phone while I was in store. I asked for an invoice - it came with no charges noted just "thank you for you purchase of the iphone". Finally I got ahold of a copy from guest services and saw the itemized charges with my signature at the bottom! This dude completely took advantage of me. Now the phone # has been disconnected. FORCED to buy a screen protector. LIED to. He had already deactivated the phone in my pocket, and activated the phone I had not yet paid for. I had signed paperwork for device payment plan. Then he (claiming to be assistant manager) tells me he can't sell me the phone without a $65 screen protector and asks if I'd like to process a return instead. Told me they usually also FORCE customers to buy charging adapters and cases. Screen protector had not been mentioned up until this late point in the process. My guess is I would have been hit with device activation fees in the next bill even if I did return it, so I let him fleece me. He said he could process my trade-in, while Verizon says authorized retailers cannot accept trade-ins. He charged $30 for device setup while Verizon says authorized retailers are only allowed to do so if they migrate trade-in device data. He let me access our family's account although I am not an account manager. Going to a company store next time for sure. Don't trust the logo above the store, this is victra, not Verizon, and they are running a con in all their stores. Edit: Reached out over email and they have not replied back. I was welcomed by 3 employees two which were new the manager Luis was helping them the entire time while helping 3 other customers and being attentive to everyone! He was helping new employees while providing great service I usually go to a different location but this is my store from now on! I went to a store in Oceanside and service was horrible because I wasn't there to buy anything! This store is pretty close to my house. I have came in here a few times. First time I came in here the gentlemen that Helped me was very polite and helpful , took his time trying to do all he could for me because I had gotten locked out of my account due to the code was entered to many times incorrectly. To top it off I didn't have my current phone. He tried to assist me getting a phone for the mean time that wasn't to expensive till I could get my regular phone back. All attempts on everything were a fail for me , I don't remember the gentleman's name but definitely was helpful and patient. I ended up being in the store for 2 hours but everything was fine. So I needed to go back another time and I decided since I already had been here that the second time here would be fairly equal. Not the case. The store was so busy and only one guy working there. Not quite sure why only one person was in the store. Now this guy, which I definitely don't remember his name was not very customer service oriented. He definitely remained calm even under stress. But he never once made eye contact with me while he finally assisted me. Even when I talked with me i was talking to the side of him. When I asked for help he wasn't even facing me. That was rood to me. No acknowledgement. Now on the store note. This is not a corporate store they are limited on what they are able to assist with. The store is regular looking. I normally don't write reviews but in this case I felt I really needed to. Today I worked with Mac. My phone screen had dead spots. It would not allow me to open it at all. I went to the store and ended up having to trade my phone in. He allowed me to take that phone to the Apple store to see if they could get it to work because I could not transfer any data to my new phone. Apple told me they were unable to assist me at all. I went back to Verizon and Mac was able to determine that I had more than one Apple account. He was able to get all of my data downloaded to my new phone even when the Apple store could not do this for my iPhone 12. I just want to give a big shout out to Mac who took the time to help me out. It's nice to have an employee that cares about his job and cares about the customers. Thank you Mac you are an amazing guy. read more

I went in to get my screen protector replaced which when I bought my phone I paid $80 for the Go Wireless screen protection plan so that I can get free replacements for the life of the phone. I have gone in a couple different times to get it replaced, including this location before they moved suites, and have had no problems, this time they take my screen off and say how do you want to pay, I tell them again I paid for the protection plan which is life time replacement and they go in telling me policies have changed...bullshit, bullshit, bullshit. This was something I was enrolled in this was something I paid for upfront it doesn't just expire. More bullshit, bullshit, bullshit. I said put my screen back on, which now it seems kinda funny how they decided to tell me the "change" after they took it off, he said well it broke up or taking it off so wont be able to get back on now. But you will pay the same on Amazon so might as well get it here, HELL NO it's the principle I pay almost $400 to verizon monthly bought this and I am not paying another dime for something I already paid for. I walked out and called headquarters right away. Headquarters confirmed how wrong they were in the store and apologized and is sending me a new lifetime warranty screen protector but wont get here till Tuesday so hopefully my phone screen stays ok till then. I couldn't believe the attitudes and such bad customer service at this store! I have been a customer for over 10 years and honestly almost said shut down all my devices and cancel my plans I am done with Verizon. Rick made us a deal if I trade in mine also (total of 2 phones) we should be seeing a $100 credit on our next phone statement. Now it's been 2 cycles and no credit. Called Verizon and they have no records of what was promised at the store. Called the store to find out "RICK NO LONGER WORKS THERE" Maddy acknowledged the conversation as she was there and took my number so the manager would call me and 2 weeks later no one called. Bibliana was great! She helped me get a bill situated and paid very easily. Reason for 2 stars is because I walked into this location twice today, first time I went in 3 employees were not wearing masks. One jumped up quickly and put his on while the other 2 seemed careless. After trying to discuss how to pay, I was told I had to come back and pay cash, which is understandable given the reason. I go to the bank and come back within 10min and the same individuals are still not wearing masks when I come in. As bibliana is helping me a customer walks in (wearing a mask) and the employee walks over to him and starts trying to sell him, still without a mask on! I understand some people aren't in agreement with the whole mask wearing situation but if you have signs saying you must enter with face coverings and follow the guidelines in order to enter the premises then I feel the employees should follow the same guidelines. It's unfair there are people out there who are being affected by what's going on and you have a store open for operations with employees who could careless if they have to wear a mask. Bibliana was wearing her mask the whole time even when I walked in, the 2 careless employees I did not happen to catch their name but one was wearing a red long sleeve and had a shaved head, the other employee was a taller, heavier set guy, with a black shirt on, and messy hair. read more
