He helped with a logic board repair on an M2 MacBook air, and the laptop is working great. He was also able and willing to try a completely different board repair project I had available that most shops wouldn't even be willing to look at. It's truly a breath of fresh air to work with someone who appreciates electronics and is able to save parts that otherwise tend to end up as e-waste. Considering Apple and other big tech companies only seem to push people to spend as much money as possible replacing full assemblies + endless parts etc (that are all glued together) this is why the right to repair is so important and we 100% need shops like this to exist. When I brought it here to CPR, they showed me that it was actually the screen protector and not the actual screen. They quoted me $25 for a new phone protector and offered to put it on for me right there. I was so grateful! When I asked if the other places would know that they said, "Of course, they were trying to take advantage of you!" I had been loyal ever since. The Bad: Fast forward to now (about 10 years later),... I hate to say it but I believe greed has gotten the best of them. I went there a few months ago to repair my iPad screen. It was $260! I went twice last week asking for a quote to submit to insurance both times they took down my information (on a "sticky note") and told me the owner would email or text me a quote within a day or two. I just had a feeling those sticky notes go directly in the trash. Here it is a week (& several follow ups) later and no one has contacted me or knows anything about my previous request(s). My advice,.. pretend you are interested in getting the repair asap, otherwise, I'm quite sure they just throw it in the trash.

Came here to fix a broken iPhone screen. I was a little put off because he quoted me $90 on the…read morephone but when I came in it became $160 which is obviously a huge difference. Also there were lots of boxes and broken computers just kind of laying around everywhere, but we were desperate and needed a quick fix. It's been a few days since getting the screen replaced and we've noticed that when next to a normal iPhone looking at the exact same images, the colors are a lot different and not as detailed. Also it's been flashing and went black for a few seconds. Really disappointed but not confident we could get a refund, or would even want further repairs from this establishment.

This place helped me twice and both times they have been awesome…read more I was in an urgency to restart a 2017 IPhone for legal reasons, with a dead battery, broken screen...I wasn't sure the phone was actually still functional (it had been run over by a truck). The repair person (I do not know his name) didn't make me any promises. He simply said that he'll try to see if it starts and go from there. I agreed to pay some $$ for a diagnosis even though it wasn't requested when I dropped the phone. I told the repair man to charge me for a broken screen anyways if the phone was still useable. 2 hours after dropping the phone, I received a text saying that my old phone was ready, it has full access and charges well. I paid $55 for the (super fast) service. Competent, efficient and friendly staff.

On multiple occasions he's called me from random #'s asking me to Zelle him some cash because he can't afford to get his phone fixed, so that's why when my phone charging port failed I knew exactly where to go. I've been on Android & Samsung for 13 years never having had an issue other than loss. So when my S24 Ultra USB-C Port got loose I was thinking of just upgrading, but having lost some key features when they released the S25 Ultra I decided to repair. Phone was at 15% and was taking 3 hrs to charge via wireless and I needed my phone for work the next day (4PM thursday). I called ahead and they said $125 without knowing what model/brand. Showed up and James quoted hour and a half which was perfect as they closed at 7 and had the port in stock. They can sure fix the easy stuff, but when I asked about cases and accessories they pretty much only carry Iphone and the latest models from other brands S24 Ultra is a flagship phone. Service was great, but my screen protector was bubbled from when they removed the glass. Not a big deal, but I wish they had my brand/model for a replacement. While i was browsing I heard James interacting with another customer which gave me pause as he didn't seem to have any sympathy for them wanting to save an old phone which had pictures that were priceless to them. Loss of a star for that. Haven't had any issues since and I'll likely return if I ever have need for repair not through my insurance.
