I recently visited this AT&T store with what I thought was a very simple request: to change my phone number due to a personal safety concern. I had an ex contacting me repeatedly in which I felt unsafe, and I explained to the representative, multiple times, that all I wanted was a number change. Unfortunately, instead of focusing on that, he kept steering the conversation toward additional products and services I didn't ask for. At the time, I was already shaken and not in the right headspace to deal with pushy sales tactics. I left the store believing my request had been handled and that I'd simply be charged the standard number change fee. However, I later discovered that my old phone line hadn't been canceled, unnecessary add-ons had been added, and my phone plan was switched without my consent. This situation has caused me a great deal of unnecessary stress, especially since my visit was meant to help me feel safer, not more overwhelmed. I truly wish this store would prioritize customers' needs and circumstances over upselling, especially when someone comes in with a clear and urgent request. This location sold two IPads by a Matthew Q. On Wednesday 9/18/24 to a person who was not me and allowed them to use my account. I do not know if they did not ask to see ID or if it was an inside job. I had to file a fraud complaint, change my password, remove autopay and it's a big hassle to keep receiving emails that I changed my plan and will be paying more. I called the store today to ask why didn't you check ID? They gave the whole "we check ID and scan which is a lie then they put me on hold and never came back. Originally went in simply to upgrade my phone from an iPhone 11 to the iPhone 16. We told Leticia multiple times that we did not want any additional services or changes to our plan. A month later we call to cancel the insurance on our phone plan and we find out she had changed all the phone plans. This is unethical and irresponsible. Please stop doing this to customers. We walked in to inquire about internet service and to get a tablet. Our associate was super kind and friendly, she was great. BUT the whole experience went down the drain because of April, the agent with the red hair. As soon as we walked in she started making faces and had the worst vibe and energy ever, once we were seated she interrupted our transaction just to tell our associate that she needed to go help other customers. ALL THIS WHILE NO ONE WAS IN THE STORE AND WE WAITED ABOUT 20 MINUTES TO GET HELP. Every question asked to her she immediately said no, the agent that was assisting us even looked embarrassed. Horrible service- Not my first incident Iam need to connect my apple watch and determine which one is paired and add another one on service. It was bear closing- I waited for other customers to finish their consult- the guys made every question difficult- than proceeded to respond they were near closing. I work late daily, till 7pm. I really need my phones paired and connected, 1 was charged and the other at 10 percent, I tried asking him to charge my phone. I even reset my apple password to get my 1 apple watch paired. Even with this he found a negative solution. Than the truth comes out oh were closing at 8pm. Just tell me you don't want to work and your a dead beat employee waiting to clock out and go home! Be extra careful when you purchase a new phone for a trade in credit. Double check to make sure your phone qualifies for the promotion and don't take the reps word for it. Also, manager needs to be able to resolve at store when there is a dispute and not just push you over to att customer service. Was told my phone qualified for a trade on promotion however when I return to drop off I was told other wise. The Manager Luis was not able to do anything to help my situation all he said was that he would speak to rep that sold me the phone and discipline him, which didn't help me in any way to resolve. read more

I visited this store on 8/2 with my new IPhoneX for help in finishing the set up. Alex was very helpful, however I didn't have the pin number since I'm on a family plan with my son. After getting all the information from my son, I went back to the store. Alex was busy so the lead of the day helped me. He wouldn't even look at the documentation I brought and said I had to be authorized on the account to complete the set up. I decided to wait for Alex (45 minutes) and when he was finally free the lead called him over and said he was not allowed to help me. After this I went to the AT&T store at the Promenade and it took the young lady that helped me 2 minutes to get everything completed. My advice to everyone, go the Promenade and avoid the Firestone location. read more

If I could leave a negative star review, I would. I had been with this company for many years and was completely satisfied but recently having gone to this location every time I interact with one of the employees there are often pushy and rude. I went to upgrade my phone a few years ago, and I was deceived by one of their employees, and I ended up adding things to my line, which I never knew he had done nor explained to me thoroughly.. all that aside I went in tonight and asked that I wanted to cancel this number that was made with my name and information that I was unaware of and the man that was there said we can't do that here you have to do it over the phone. He was very adamant about saying he couldn't do anything and that it's not just at that location but it's all locations and that I would have to call. After not letting me finish my sentences, I said, so where do I call and that's when he told me to dial 611. I understand although it doesn't make sense that I could open a line location but I can't cancel a line. He as an employee of AT&T should be quick to help not pass the ball. it seems like these employees at this site are only interested in opening new lines, creating new lines and adding fees to your contract for the company but when it comes to actually assisting someone with a need, they really don't care. The employees here dont respect your expensive investment. The day I picked up the phone, the employee set the phone down onto the table and slide my camera across the table. They didnt even let me get the privilege of taking out of its box. Not even leaving the store, my camera lens is scratched up and the stainless steel has very noticeable scratch marks. I understand that through wear and tear the camera will get scratches on it but it wasn't even 10 minutes out of the box and its already scratched up. I didnt even get to hold it and they scratches my camera lens'. After the fact, I asked to put a 50$ screen protector onto my phone, took three tries by two different employees and they kept leaving dust and bubbles under my screen. When i asked to get it redone, not only was I given a lot of attitude. The job didn't even get done in the end, they gave me a fourth screen protector and told me to do it myself. At&t have no honor or integrity, they make you wait on phone for long periods of time, they claim it take two to three billing cycles to see added on discounts, they add things to ur acct without your permission, you are made to repeat yourself over and over again in store and over the phone several times when you are complaining about the services, people who are disabled. Also, they don't do print outs so don't waste your time trying to get the bill from them when you're trying to transfer numbers to another carrier. Since we are long time AT&T customers we have been to this location many times. It's always hit or miss as far as customer service goes. This last visit was to upgrade my mom from her dinosaur flip phone to the iPhone 6 Plus. She thought go big or go home! When you walk in you sign-in with the person with the iPad. We waited about 10 minutes which gave us some time to look around and play with their products. We were helped by a nice young lady (I totally forgot her name, sorry) and she set us right up. She went through the whole "let me sell you this and that" and when I said it's ok she didn't try to push anything on us. When everything was said and done the phone was activated and ready to use. We walked out the door happy campers with a new phone for my mom. Hopefully our next experience will be just as easy as this time. read more

SHITTY CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you don't want extra charges added to your phone bill, don't come here. First of all, they are extremely unprofessional. The day we walked in, all we heard was stupid ass Fetty Wap type of crap blasting over the speakers with expletives galore. Anyway, I had walked in with the intention of purchasing a brand new phone at full price - no contract extension or renewal. Just straight up purchase a new phone. She seemed annoyed to be helping me the whole time, minimally answering any questions I had. She warns me about a restocking fee in case I return it. I say ok, that's fine, and go on my merry way. I check my phone bill a few weeks later...and I get charged for not one but TWO protection plans that I NEVER signed up for, nor did she EVER mention them to me. I also got charged an extra $15 setup fee that she did not warn me about either. I had to call ATT for them to tell me the $15 charge was standard for any new phone purchase, and they were also able to remove the charge and even apologized for that stupid ass employee's mistake. It seems stupidity and unprofessionalism runs rampant here, so take your business to another store. Don't help these idiots meet their quotas. To top it off, I'm from a different state so I was really stressed out and needed a new phone fast in my hand to communicate with my family. Of course I had to wait until morning so the store could open and every location I called did not have the phone I wanted in stock except for this store. I was hoping to walk in and out but no, the store was packed to my dismay.
