The staff are nice. I brought my phone in to have the screen protector replaced since it was still under warranty. It it was done at the promised time however there's a big scratch going through the phone horizontally. I don't know if it's the screen protector that scratched or if the actual screen is damaged now. Not happy with service. Here's what happened, I went to drop off my Samsung Watch, here at ubreakifix Downey CA, because it wouldn't turn on. I went there and charge me $40 for diagnostic (I thought it was free diagnostic according to their website.) I ended up paying it because I wanted to get fix. Per technician, if I decided to have it fix there they will deduct the $40 towards the repair. After couple days, the tech called and said I needed a new battery for $107.99. I did approve the repair. After almost two weeks, they called and said the watch is ready to be picked up. I went there and about to pay. I was expecting they would deduct the $40 from $107.99. They said they already did. $107.99 plus tax is already deducted. I was asking for price breakdown. They couldn't provide one. Not even on their computer stating that the $40 was deducted. I feel like I got scammed with the pricing. I got coupon from their (ubreakifix) email and they wouldn't honor it because they're franchise. In short, they're very misleading. I'm very disappointed. Avoid this place at all cost the staff is very rude and disrespectful. If you have an appointment expect to wait a very long time because they will be servicing all the walk-ins before you even if you're on time for your appointment. I had an appointment at 10 AM I was waiting in my car since 9:30am out front. I didn't notice a line of people forming since I was with my one year-old waiting for our 10 o'clock appointment the employee let in six people before me that we're all walk-ins and he said I would not be seen till all the walk-ins were seen because they were there before me even if it was 10 AM and my appointment was at that time. He also stated he has six other appointments at 10 AM if they cannot handle Taking care of appointments, maybe they shouldn't set so many at the same time there's no point of making an appointment if they're gonna see everyone else before you. The employee tupfront was very rude and disrespectful to I would never return to this location. He also lied about having to make a claim. Which Verizon had already did. Thankfully, Verizon was just across the parking lot and told me he lied about having to make a claim because my appointment was set, and my insurance was gonna cover the damage. he was trying to charge me 200 out-of-pocket and just didn't wanna help me on my way out. He yelled at me and said not to cause a scene in his store because I told him that they should have a better system in place for their appointments. read more

PROS: - Had to get a Galaxy Flip 3 screen protector replaced and had no issues. - The work was done (out of warranty) in about an hour. - The phone looked like brand new after picking up. Yay or nay? 1/2 Brought my laptop to get repaired here a while ago. Overall process was long and tedious but mostly due to a payment problem on their end which was eventually solved. While they corrected the mistake it was a very time consuming ordeal. Also took about two weeks for the repair if I recall correctly. Expensive? 0/1 Yes. I definitely didn't feel like I got a good deal. How fair of a statement that is I'm not 100% on as I haven't had similar repairs elsewhere recently. I paid somewhere around 300-400 for a cracked screen on a very cheap work laptop that was about 800 total which is why this repair felt pricey. Location 0/1 Several free parking spaces near. Location is terrible though. Has a huge window without any shade blocking the sun. The room is small and gets a lot of sunlight. It gets uncomfortably hot in there. Even the poor employees aren't used to it. One of them was sweating profusely. Zero AC or fans and sometimes it takes a long time depending on the issue the people ahead of you have. No where to sit while you wait. Plan to return? 1/1 Not planning on it, but eventually something will break and this place is close by. read more

I wish I could remember the guys name but he was hella cool. I went in to get a quote on the charging port of my iPhone 12 Pro Max. My main thing was to get a quote. He was nice enough to take a look. I usually use a toothpick to clean the port but he used some tweezers and a specific liquid to clean the port. Only 2 minutes and he was done. I know it was good cause the lightning cable now clicks into place. CarPlay now works with no issues as well. I will keep them in mind if I do have a problem with my phone. Thanks again. read more

My son attempted to insert an external memory drive to his PS5 and ended up stripping the screw. I brought the item to Best Buy and they said they were not able to fix it and recommended UBreakIFix next door. Charles and Blake were working and helped me so quickly. They were so knowledgeable and helpful. I was told that if they need more time to fix it then it would be a charge but in in less than 5 minutes and I was out the door. They inserted the external drive even fixed the stripped screw The following day I needed to add a heatsink and was having a difficult time unscrewing the screw and didn't want to risk stripping it so I brought the PS5 in again. Another gentleman was there and helped me so quickly. He inserted the heatsink and gave it back in less than 5 minutes. It was a busy day for them and he still took the time to help me so quickly. Total waste of time. Manager was 10 minutes late to open the store even though I had an appointment. Waited 10 minutes while said manager failed to ring up another customer, despite making a phone call for assistance on how to use the register. Then was told the screen protector for my Fold 3 wasn't in stock because it's popular...because keeping popular items in stock doesn't make any sense, I guess? Then was told I could call back next week sometime to see if they got any new ones, but they couldn't be sure if they would, or when. Total waste of time, don't waste your money here. I definitely wouldn't trust my phone to a place where the manager is obviously incompetent. There are plenty of other Asurion stores around. Avoid this one. read more

Brought zflip to get repaired. Chad, store manager was polite and insisted it was Samsung policy that the warranty was void because I removed the screen on my phone. Even though we had Samsung on the phone to confirm that removing the screen does not void the warranty. Samsung literally told the store clerk directly that removing the screen does not void the warranty. Chad, the store manager, refused to service my zflip. He insisted that it was his discretion to decide if he wanted to approve fixing my device. The employee who helped us, I don't have his name, was not necessarily incredibly rude but acted as if he was annoyed with us because we continued to insist that removing the screen protector did not void the warranty. As far as customer service is concerned there is definitely room for improvement. I don't recommend bringing your phone for repair to this store. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Please stay away! I took in my Samsung smartwatch for repair because it wasn't charging. They told me I would get a call back by Friday to let me know if they could fix it. When I didn't receive a call I decided to call them myself, thats when I realized that the phone number that was written on the receipt as a call back number was completely wrong. That was the first red flag! I mean not just one digit, but the whole entire phone number. On the phone I was told that my watch was not fixable and that I could pick it up. To my surprise I was handed my watch broken into two pieces. They refused to take responsibility! The manager Chad told me that the battery inflated and did this on its own. Are you kidding me? My watch has not been turning on for months but as soon as you touch it, it decided to fall apart? This place handled my Samsung Care+ warranty. Person I spoke with on the phone was professional. Rubin checked me in. He was unsure about my request but I provided the proper documentation for him to locate and start the claim process on his end. I left and came back about 4 hours later and my cracked screen was replace. Talking with Chad he informed me of the parts and warranty with my phone. They get about 40 customers a day so I didn't expect my phone back soon but they got it back to me same day good as new. Seems to always have a lot of people there but I think they did a great job managing the clients. Hiccups happens, luckily for me during this claim it was only a matter of time before my phone was fixed and they happen to have the parts I needed in stock. Looks like a solid crew there. Came in here to have two phones fixed. My iphone 11 pro had a charging issue and Blake fixed it in like 2 minutes. He said it was because it was jammed with dirt. Instead of wasting my money on a premature fix he just did it on the spot. A fist bump was the only payment i had to give! The second phone was a old iphone 7 with a broken home button. He told me repair cost outweighed the overall phone value, so i should hunt one down for cheap online instead of spending over $300. I have one more phone i need fixed that im definitely bringing here to be fixed sometime this week. Any time ive had any issues with an iphone and i take it elsewhere, people just take the phone and charge me money instead of weighing out my options like Blake did. Been waiting over a month now to get my Xbox console fixed. I know it takes time to figure out whats wrong and to order parts but what I don't appreciate so far is that they told me they would call me as soon as they figured out what's wrong with my xbox...I never got a call so after a few weeks I called to get an update, a lady said they tried different hardwares and seemed to not be a hardware issue so they need to diagnose further..ok no problem...another couple weeks go by without any update so I call again to see what's going on and a lady said they need to replace the hardware, so I said ok...how much will it cost? And I decided to pay over the phone. I just don't like how I'm not getting any updates when they hold me they would call me...so now I'm still waiting after s month and I'll probably have to call back to see when my Xbox is ready because I don't trust them to keep me updated. I will edit my review once I receive my Xbox...whenever that will be. Again, I know it takes time but I just wanted a call from them like they promised but instead I have to keep calling now to make sure I'll get my Xbox back at some point!!
