I had a bad experience with the store I came in for an upgrade and in the process might SIM card was corrupted no big deal. It was my fault that actually got the SIM corrupted, but I was looking to upgrade and thought this would be a very limited experience after sitting down with the sales person and upgrading my phone to the latest and greatest iPhone and on top of that adding a Watch batteries, phone protectors the person was unable to transfer me or resolve why my phone had corrupted eSIM card I said I'll go back home and try and resolve it well the whole day went through and I was still unable to resolve it. I came back the next day to show my ID And the second sales person completely different again was unable to resolve my issue of no cell service due to a corrupted SIM card. I'm somewhat frustrated because I've gone without my phone coming up and over 14 hours and I'm missing critical information that comes me via texting and other forms of communication on my cell phone. He said I sent you an email. You need to get me that information. I keep this information on a computer not to my phone. I went back home and I was able to review the message in my house so I went to Verizon thinking that if AT&T can't resolve my bad phone issue, I'm gonna go to the competition so I go to Verizon and talk to the online rep and they asked me for my pin code which I gave them. They said it's not correct and they're not able to pass process my port my phone number information. Again, this is all due to me not having access to texting or my personal phone. I go back to the store and say I have a corrupted SIM card within five minutes they sent a signal. They did look at my drivers license for validating my ID and after five minutes, I had my cell service back on. It took me three trips to the store to get this resolved so I took my business to Verizon and we talked to another person online and I gave him my passcode and they said this time it's right maybe there's just a bunch of incompetent customer service reps and technical people working for AT&T but the more I dive into this it looks like AT&T tries to hold onto their 10 year customers With vigilance, even after the sales rep for Verizon dialed the correct number it still redirected me to a sales person and they wanted to know why I was leaving AT&T probably due to my 10 year but in somewhat pissed off that the wasting my time and my resources just to retain me they're not fulfilling their obligation to Long-term customer such as myself farewell AT&T for a royal screwup read more

I came in for a screen protector for my iPhone 11. I was helped by a super nice employee who showed me how to put it on myself. I would have preferred them do it but under the circumstances I had to. There were a few bubbles in the screen but the employee told me to lift the screen cover gently and press it back down to remove the bubbles. When I got home I noticed a few bubbles in b/w the screen and protector so I did just what the employee said to do. I lifted the corner to smooth out the bubbles - but then my screen cracked. Doing exactly what I was instructed to do. I called immediately and requested that even though I had a warranty with the protector if I could have the $7 fee waived since I had just bought the phone a few hours ago. The woman on the phone told me it would likely be okay but to come I and ask the manager. So I show up speak to a manager who I'm over 6ft. apart from in distance and he keeps moving away from me... The manager then says that I'll have to pay the fee and I was like - I would have preferred you guys put it on in the first place and I cracked it doing exactly what I was instructed to do. He didn't care - instructs another employee to help me (who was super nice). Then comes out to my car and is like - "explain to me why you think you should have the fee waived again" (like I'm a 12yr old). I explained my case and then he finally said "we'll do it this once but really we're not supposed to." The point is - the manager could have been a little more polite and not as rude with his delivery. read more

First off, I must admit that I was completely ignorant of the services available to me on my family contract. Our family plan is maintained by my brother (I pay him), so I was figuring things out as I went as my phone was stolen earlier in the day. I sort of wandered into the Loop 200 AT&T store with no online preparation... That being said, I had to figure out what my plan provided after communicating with my brother, which by the way occurred after I returned home from my initial trip to the store and first customer service event. And I went back... During my second trip, I was asked "What I was even doing here?! You know you can file an insurance claim online!" You know the drill, beat it old man. Thankfully, I eventually figured things out for myself, after reviewing the information provided online (certainly what I should have done in the first place). I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the rude man who first started to help me get my new phone up and going. I apologized because I'm really technologically challenged at 62 and his reply to Josh Nelson was "and she doesnt want to learn". Whereas he handed the box to Josh rather forcefully and stomped off. If I could give a negative rating I would. I simply need to exchange an AT&T car charger that I bought in their store for my iPhone. I have been told I need to wait to speak with a representative in their store in order to exchange the defective car charger they sold me. So far I have been waiting an hour and have only moved up 2 spots in the line. Ugh. My advice would be to make an appointment ahead for ANY service you might need from this location or order accessories from Amazon. I sadly gave in to the smart phone contract here which is the equivalent of selling your soul for 2 years, but if the stars align just right maybe I can make this phone last 2 years. Doubtful, but I hope so because the insurance plan is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of (monthly fee plus $200 deductible?!?!?!)! All soul selling aside, the customer service here is fantastic. They will do what it takes to make sure you are happy with your soul selling contract, and they are the most knowledgeable customer service representatives I have seen when it comes to knowing about the product they sell. I have never seen a rude AT&T employee, or dealt with one on the customer service phone line. The displays in the store are real and you can play with them as much as you like to see which phone you want unlike at Best Buy where they are fake screens. 4G LTE is lightening fast so even if you don't buy a phone here that has that, make sure you at least play with one. Only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because you have to buy the Zagg phone cover there if you want them to put it on for you. Screen covers are a must, but charging $15 more for them than you can get online is unfair. read more

Be careful at this store. We had an employee completely misrepresent a plan/deal to us and now we're stuck paying for a phone we didn't even need. The management was not helpful at all with getting this resolved. They also refused to re-direct us to a higher up. The staff is clearly not being trained enough before they're put on the floor as it appears they don't know what they're actually selling. Priceless incompetence is what I've run into attempting; to close out and pay off my Dead Son's account; I call it in, they said; I can't do this over the phone without his passcode, Have to travel to the Corporate store 40 miles away to present death certificate in person - fine. I go there, provide copies of death certificate, they said I owe nothing & provide a receipt to that effect. The next month I receive a bill for 166.00 with late fees. Again, they an't do anything over the phone without a passcode, I travel back to Denton and once again, provide my ID, and my son's death certificate and state that I am not paying any late fee when the only reason this wasn't paid last month is that the store told me nothing was due ; So I pay $ 155. and it's closed out again, they said..... today in the mail a postcard from ATT notifying " the estate of _____" that the account has been switched to paperless billing . Well good luck with that. 3 more phone calls, 1/2 hours on Chat thru my AT&T Account access, no one can do anything over the phone without the passcode. want's me to drive back to Denton again for another 3 hour trip they said. WELL I"ve been there 2X already and they have all the documentation . THIS RUNNING A GRIEVING MOTHER AROUND IN CIRCLES DUE TO THE STORE'S MANAGERS FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE WITH AT&T MAIN BILLING IS INCOMPETENCE . I sent a friend to pick it up and he said that he could not give it to us. I heard him and another Sales rep talk about have how they just stuck it to a Female customer. I think that the people they have at this store needs to be replaced and to have better management and train your people to have great people skills. Can I give a negative number? I TRULY TRY and stay positive on my ratings but sometimes it just isn't a choice. I made the HUGE mistake of re-signing with AT&T in February 2012. Bought an new 4G phone which had ridiculously bad reception in areas my 3G worked just fine. After getting nothing but lame excuses from this store and mgmt. clowns, I returned the phone for another one at the Apple store in Frisco, which pretty much wiped out a half day. The exchanged phone had same issue. Again, took it back to this store, mgr. said the phones were crap and said I should exchange for an AT&T phone, the new, improved one but because of music downloads I needed time to upload a server to transfer music...told me it was free, it wasn't! Then after 7-10 days I was ready to exchange, guess what, all the new phones were back ordered. Give us another $100 and we'll order one and then a month or so from now, you'll receive credit. Can you just call me when the new phones arrive? No, can't do that! AT&T, never again! This place has no clue what customer service is! It is a 3 ring circus with the clowns that stand there in their clown suits saying, aren't we just the cutest things....now give us your $$$! read more

Don't go to this store, ever... They have the worst customer service in any phone store. We went in to upgrade our IPhones. The store was not crowded and there were more AT&T people than customers. No one greeted us at the door and after waiting a few minutes we went up to the desk where Two AT&T employees were busy talking to each other. No one even took a sidewise glance at us until we asked if we could be helped. Finally one of them asked if we had put our name on the list and we said no. He put us on the list and said it would be about 15 minutes since there were two people ahead of us. We sat down to wait. Half an hour later we were still waiting and there were several AT&T folks walking about and not working with customers. They pointedly avoided eye contact. Perish the thought that they would have to be nice to a customer. Who hires such people with the personality of a block of wood? Whoever did ought to be fired for dereliction of duty. We left the store without anyone stopping us or asking us whether we had been helped. We were horribly disappointed by the lack of basic courtesy to customers at this store and by extension at AT&T. We will never go back to the store again and are considering a switch to another carrier. read more

I was totally pushed to buy a security service and the rep PROMISED I could cancel with a quick phone call and would be credited back the $300 within 24-48 hours. NOT TRUE! nothing he said was true!
