Saw all the great reviews on this place. What really hooked me in was this "100% satisfaction guaranteed" that they have on their site so I decided to go and check them out. Came in and he told me that it would be $130 to fix the screen. At first I didn't want to pay it but he assured me that I was in safe hands with his 90 day money back guarantee on the receipt. I was still unsure but I decided to pay it because I needed my phone for my business. Instantly I noticed the cheaper material that they use. The color was different and I was having trouble getting it to work properly. About a month and a half later my phone randomly shuts off while on a zoom call. -No physical damage -No water damage Just cheap material. It would not turn on. I come back to the store the following day and explain to him my situation and show him my receipt. At first he tells me that I must've damaged it or dropped it but I told him that it wasn't possible. I have a case and it's always on me. I would know if I dropped it. He then tells me that replacing the LCD is not apart of the money back guarantee policy and that if I wanted to fix my phone I would have to make another purchase of $130! Wow great job on creating relationships with your customers. I didn't pay it, left and just used my backup phone. Makes you think what their 100% satisfaction guarantee on their site really means... I would think twice about doing business with these fraudulent people.

    I have never written a review in my life, but this place was horrible. My mom took my water-damaged…read morephone here to be fixed and they originally charged us $180, which is not the issue. Following this, we returned to this shop about 15 times in the span of like 2 months because it had non stop issues. When we came in the first time, we asked for my phone to be completely fixed, yet were forced to come back because first, the charging port wasn't working. They tried to charge us $75 for a cheap charging port but eventually just agreed on $15. Next thing you know, they had to put 4 different ports in my phone on 4 separate occasions because my mic didn't work and I couldn't charge my phone. EVERY NEW PORT they put in my phone was just worse than the one I came to fix. however, i was willing to accept it bc they just kept gaslighting me and i was tired of wasting my time coming back. However my phone, after like another week(so now currently) is barely usable and completely blacks out and won't even turn on. me and my mom asked for a refund, and instead of a refund they said they would give us a "brand new" iphone 11 which was actually a scratched up refurbished phone, so we said no. we asked for our $195 after all the wasted time, gas, and headache just for my phone to immediately break down after they "fixed it" Btw Hamzah, the guy whose the manager, he said to me "we always warn out customers with water damage that issues can come up no matter if we fix it" WHICH ME AND MOM WERE NEVER EVEN WARNED OF, LIKE WHAT? so your warning us after we paid and came here a million times? On top of that he's like "well that's why you shouldn't dunk your phone in water" first of all, it fell in water, second of all, it shouldn't matter to you if i found this phone washing up the shore of the atlantic ocean u told me you can fix water damage so do your job. they only gave us $115 back, because they said the parts in my phone make up the rest of the cost. its a huge scam because you're basically charging me for parts i would have never paid for if i knew my phone wouldn't even be fixed.

Well, life has marched on and our phone needs have changed why shouldn't our service reflect that? Trying to get your landline serviced has become a real hassle and I am reminded that they are doing me a favor by coming out to fix the problem in the box they own. Now I have found out that you are no longer able to change any of your landline packages. Oh yes, they could bundle it with our internet but that would only decrease the charge about $30. So, as explained by the employee, unless I am willing to get rid of my landline ~ i am stuck paying over $100/month. Now I will roll my eyes, shake my head, and politely thank the employee for making me aware.

Charged for the watch cell line that was canceled spent hours at the cell and hours at home trying to get this resolved. Decided to turn the1 watch I did receive and charged a restocking fee of $55. Until you get home, and your internet drops 11x, and you notice that she DOWNGRADED your plan and ADDED A PERK (commission for her). You drop the $25 perk the same day (you caught that), and get some extra bandwith hooking things up differently in the house, cuz you know how, but now you have to go to Oakbrook anyway. If you go there, please, just (1) read exactly what you are signing up for, don't just sign the signature pad and think she must be honest, and (2) go home, go online, and make sure it shows the same thing with no perks you were unaware of. If you do those two things, then Emalie is still a snake, but you are sure she didn't get one over on you. She even badmouthed ALL the people at the Villa Park Verizon location, but I'm not sure how much worse it could be than getting scammed by the 63rd & Main, Downers Grove location.

I had to jump through many hoops to finally speak to a human being at the Downers Grove store. He was a very nice young man and confirmed finally that they did not carry the battery. As nice as he was and fairly knowledgeable, it was almost impossible to get to speak to a human being. It's getting to the point where everything is going to be online and while that seems convenient now, I fear that the death of customer service will affect us more than we think.

Geek Squad and the store manager told me it has to be sent out for repair. I explained the problem in detail to the store manager who has the power to simply continue with store credit. "I'm sorry, I'm not going to do that" was his reply. All of this happened in a single visit. Three different answers, zero resolution. I wiped my entire computer based on an employee's instructions, and now I'm stuck setting it all back up with nothing to show for it. No accountability. No apology. No solution. Filing a BBB complaint. If you're bringing a device here, get everything in writing before you touch it.

    June 17 went to have my husbands Verizon account disconnected brought death certificate. Indicated…read moreto Mahmoud to disconnect put in my name and use my email address. He did not. June 30 told Mahmoud to disconnect account completely as I changed all carriers to my former employee, I'm a retired AT&T employee. Continued to receive emails on my husband's Verizon account that was to be switched. Received lots of emails regarding husband account never disconnected. Indicated can change password, cellphone number was compromised (later found out the number was stolen through research with AT&T and call to Verizon fraud. July 25 went to Verizon corporate office in Bolingbrook (in which Mahmoud provided in a text). I found out that the account was never disconnected, cellphone was blacklist and WiFi equipment was on account. Only cellphone number removed was mine because AT&T was now carrier and husband's cell number was I believe suspended for unknown reason. I told Bolingbrook Corp office to disconnect the whole account including the WiFi equipment that I never ordered because I was with AT&T. Lots of calls to fraud department as well as customer service because I was being charged $90.46 and it was removed from bank account. Contacted bank filed complaint because my husband's account was compromised with cellphone and WiFi equipment. I continue to get equipment removed as the account was properly disconnected with death certificate. Remember I went originally to have this done June 17, Mahmoud didn't follow through. August 12 I went to Verizon corporate office in Oak Brook to have customer service to provide me when the WiFi equipment was put on account and by whom. The WiFi equipment was added June 17, 2025 by Mahmoud. I am now livid in the least as I was taken advantage. I left Oak Brook and proceeded to the store on 75th Street. I stormed into the empty store and said I would like to know why WiFi equipment was put on my desceased husbands account that was never disconnected until July 25th correctly by Bolingbrook location. I could swear I was talking to Mahmoud but one of the other guys working that day said he no longer works there. I'm not impressed with the lies. The person I spoke to said they would contact customer service to rectify the issue. I said that equipment has to be returned or I am responsible for it and it's not in my possession. The store checked to see if it was in the store, it was not. The serial number ACR45124155. I was to receive emails and other documents that it was cared for. Over 2 hours later nothing. I called Mahmoud number and said where is the information. He indicated he would get it to me. I said better yet I'm on my way there to get this matter cleared. I said I want a copy of receipt that equipment was sent back. I get there and one of the other guys working that day got out of his car and came into the building. He said it will be a few minutes. He then came back and gave me a screenshot of the receipt. I asked him where Mahmoud was he indicated he no longer works there. I said really. He as I see it committed fraud as I even indicated I would be happy to go to the police. Prior to leaving I received a email on my husband's account that Verizon stating that UPS received the WiFi equipment and I am no longer responsible for payment. Is this how your store operates? Preying on people who are grieving for the loss of their loved one. How dare you allow this and let them get away with it. If this individual is not fired he should be and he should pay me for all the mental abuse I've dealt with and Verizon as well for hiring this individual. I left the store indicating I will be in contact with Verizon, FCC, BBB and another organization that protects deceased individuals from identity theft. Need copies of emails. I have everything. But then again your overseas people see them in the system too.
