My ID had my PO box listed by DMV when I signed up for service there,they ran a credit check for me…read moreto obtain a postpaid account and new issued phone from them they required me to submit multiple utilities bills showing my home address instead of my mailing address , immediately after my street address was divulged to them a long string of burglaries occured at my house and of my car in my driveway random breakins whenever I was away from home ,I did not know how anyone was sure of my whereabouts in order to not be confronted by me in the burglaries,it later became obvious that my phone location was being tracked ,I suspended my service and then a breaking in happened while I was home ,I did not get a look at my burglar he broke my porch light bulb,before I swung the door opened and kicked the perpetrator down my steps ,he grunted picked himself up and fled!divulging my physical location to the Corning Verizon store set me up for a long period of loss and torment!

Sunday came around, I called and no answer, checked on Google for their hours and it stated 12pm - 4pm. Went by the store and come to find out they are closed Sunday! Frustrated and mad I was! Monday comes around, I called and the guy who answered told me they had no screen available for my model, the one they had was for a different model. On top of that the guy who took in my son's ipad did not order a screen so I would have to wait until Wednesday and or the latest Friday (7/5) to pick up. Called again Wednesday and was told not ready yet, they're closed Friday due to July 4th holiday and soonest would be Saturday... by this time I was done with them, getting different answer each time i called.. Saturday came around, picking up the ipad i was told $235 after tax... i was shocked as the guy who took my ipad said $84 something. If it was that much I would've gone somewhere else as I was quoted cheaper then $235 somewhere else! But the guy was really nice and honored it (not same guy who took the ipad when I dropped it off). Overall, i was disappointed and frustrated with all the run around. But, i was happy that the price quoted was honored. So, i gave it a 4 star out of 5. Ty!

Had Dr. Mac visit our home to evaluate our Mac laptop that has been very hot over the last two…read moremonths. Kevin was very friendly and focused on our 16 inch laptop. Within one hour, he diagnosed that the problem was software related. He "cleaned-up" our system, removed old unused software and applications, and added an application that monitored our temperature and fan speed. It was truly successful and Kevin indicated that we can easily get another five years our of our 2019 laptop. We originally thought that it was a plug vent or broken fan, but rather Keven explained that too much unused software and applications can cause this overheating. We definitely will call Dr. Mac when we have Mac computer problems. He was reasonably priced and we are truly satisfied as you can tell from this review.

He convinced me originally to switch over from PC to the MAC and I have not had any viruses on any of my electronic devices since that conversion. In fact, much of his biannual needs are mostly related to software update and the multitude of stupid or basic computer questions. New stuff keeps coming out faster than I am able to absorb so Mike is my go-to guy to explain all the new tech stuff that I wish to purchase. Mike is experienced, reliable, honest, and sincere. He is also still an active reserve naval chief petty officer and spends much of each summer driving down to San Diego for his active reserve time, but he still finds time to service my computer needs. Many times he can fix the small stuff online with his computer access to my MacBook or iPad. He is just a nice young man, always addressing me as "SIR." .....probably sees that I am more than just a senior citizen...maybe an old timer.

Since last writing my review, the Internet speed and quality [referring to the connection] have been good and bad. They recently came over and gave me an upgrade. They took out the old Gen7 hardware and replaced it with Gen8 [their newest addition] hardware. It was free to all existing customers. Now, I can use their brand new Gen8 technology, and so far there have been almost no drops in connection. The speed is fast, and I'm having no problems streaming movies and series, or downloading files. I think they have improved with their service over the years. If my connection and speed continue to hold strong, I'll update again with an even better review.
