Representive Ya-Ya is an excellent customer service representative. She demonstrated comprehensive understanding of the solutions that my wife and I (senior citizens) needed to resolve our new iPhone technological issues. She had the ability to make us feel comfortable and eager to engage in her 101 introduction class to the new product. We were frustrated customers but she had the patience of Job and she presented a positive image to us. She listened attentively and allowed us to present the entire case before speaking. Reppresentive Ya-Ya epitomes the ideal employees that all fortune 500 companies need to continue their successful entrepreneurial endeavors. Sincerely thanks, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas read more

Reviews are correct, the people that work there are just sales man/women. There to sale at&t products. I did and service was straight forward, I knew what I wanted. Purchased a essential bundle from the store and even the bundle sucked. For phone Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Only thing good was the charger block and clear screens for phone. Don't do it. read more

AT&T Store - Everything that comes in the box. - Mobile Phones Near Me - Compton, California

Horrible customer service don't come here! Came for an upgrade. They first said they had the phone then when I shared I wasn't interested in any additional service or internet they told me they didn't have the phone. Sent me to Best Buy which then Best Buy was honest and shared upgrading my phone through AT&T would be better due to the trade in promo. I decided to the upgrade through the website and set up for pick up the phone mysteriously appeared and I was able to pick up the phone. I'm glad no one got the commission because these people are frauds. Don't waste your time in coming here just use them for pick up. read more

Customer Service is horrible! I went into their store last Saturday, September 12th, September 13th and again yesterday, September 17th. I saw the same male employee September 12th and 13th regarding my cell phone. I mentioned my iPhone kept dropping calls during conversations. The employee asked about my settings and how to troubleshoot the phone. Employee said if you're still having problem please return. My iPhone was working until the 13th. A friend of mine called me and the call dropped. I returned back to the store and saw the same employee and he passes me to another male employee. This employee says it is the phone. He checks and sees my phone is still insured. He submits the claim for me through the website and as soon as it gets to the last part of the sight it says the site kicked him out and I would have to call. I call the Asurion number and rep says the replacement will arrive in 2 days. No one mentioned the phone would be a refurbished phone. I received email saying the phone has arrived. I requested to have the phone shipped to the store since I knew I would not have anyone to sign for the phone. I arrive to the AT&T store, sat for about an hour, and eventually I get assisted by female employee asks what I am here for and I let her know I have phone shipped here to the store. She asks is the phone in my name and asked why did I have the phone delivered to the house. She already gave me a vibe that she did not want to assist me at all. I give her my ID, and she returns back to the table. She didn't hand me back my ID, places it on the table. As soon as she opens the box I ask is this a refurbished phone, and she says yes. I told her I do not want the phone. She says, well you will have to return it back. I wasted my time and gas with this store. I took the box and female employee asks do I need anything else? I said no and left. Why would I want the female employee to assist me with a new iPhone when she clearly did not want to assist me at all! I originally was going to purchase a new phone. The second employee made it seem like if I wanted a new iPhone I would have to wait until October? The new iPhone was just released yesterday. I checked Apple and I could order a new iPhone and pick it up the next day. I understand why my mother would not go to too many stores in the neighborhood due to lack of quality of items and/ or poor Customer Service. I truly believe it. I will purchase a new iPhone elsewhere. I have to mail the refurbished phone back before I get charged $200 smh! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I was at the Pomona Fair and switched over to AT&T from T-Mobile . The manager Henry Cavazos and sales rep Marcus Draper helped me switch 4 lines . It's been a nightmare. Not only with the horrible reception but the amount of money I am being billed every month. They lied to me and promised a bunch of stuff that was a complete lie . My monthly bill is way more than I was paying before . I've had up to 580 DLL bill and they told me to wait till my credits kicked in . I been waiting and nothing . I text Henry and now he's ghosted me . According to him if I needed anything he would help me . Yeah right ! I'm waiting 4 months and getting the hell out of this phone company . They suck ! read more

Back in June or May 2025 My husband and I went to check how much they would charge us to change our lines from T-Mobile to AT&T They said they would help and that there was a promo for the phones we ended up getting I think six lines in total and new phones for everyone. They had an offer going on that if you get the iPhone 16+ you would pay $8 to $9 dollars a month for the phone. And that they would give a good deal and the lines would be very cheap while my husband like the deal they where offering. I was not trustworthy of them because I felt like they were lying .The First bill came and it was very expensive and I noticed that instead of them charging $9 to $8 dollars for the iPhone 16+ they were charging $25 I proceeded to go to the store to talk to the manager and he said he would fix the situation that he would send an email to the AT&T people and he was telling me that I had to wait 2 to 3 months for them to reimburse me my money and to start charging me the $8 to $9 dollars which I waited but they never change it they still kept on charging me $25 every month I would call complain to AT&T store and the manager would tell me that he was gonna fix it that he was gonna send an email which I think he never did because I'm still paying the $25 for the phone instead of the $8 to $9 dollars that they promised. I called about maybe seven months straight to talk to AT&T business and they would say they would solve the situation. It's been 16 months and they haven't solved anything. . They never gave me the promotion I was promised for the phones and the phones ended up costing us $25 a month per phone when they had stated that there was an offer that the phones were gonna be around $8 dollars to $9 dollars a month. And to be honest, they have shitty reception. People can't even hear me when I'm trying to have a conversation on the phone I regret ever changing my phone lines to AT&T. They promised me so much shit and they're not even doing anything about it. I do not recommend for you to go and get AT&T as your wireless business. read more

TITLE: Terrible customer service: Adrian (employee name). NARRATIVE: I came to the store to purchase a new phone. When I walked in, Adrian was standing by their door that leads to their stock room. He checked his watch, then acknowledged me by raising his finger. When he returned from the back, he asked how could he help me. I asked for a specific phone and color. He stated that he did not have the item, so I asked if he could check the system for another store's inventory. He replied that he could, but if the supply was inaccurate because of the display numbers or missing product, it would give me a bad customer experience, so he chose not to. He then proceeded to ask what I do for work and if it was related to me being a first responder. After answering no, he dropped the conversation altogether. At that point I stated, "I want you to know that you just gave me a 'bad customer experience' while trying to avoid me having one." He asked how, so I proceeded to share with him the following: THE ISSUES: "1. When I walked in, you never spoke or introduced yourself. You gave me a finger. 2. You gave minimal effort by telling me that you couldn't look up inventory and that I needed to call, instead of offering to call a location for me." At you that point (ironically) he looked baffled and said "You expect me to call every store???" And I replied, "Isn't that what you expected of me? I wanted to continue, but instead he dismissed me and went to help another customer. My issues continued: 3. He proceeded to up-sale me by asking what I do for work, etc., before resolving my reason for entering the store. I assume they get credit for this process. CONCLUSION: Ultimately, the worst part about the experience was Adrian using the case of shielding me from a bad customer experience to hide the fact that he wanted to give minimal effort. Then when I very politely pointed it out to him, he dismissed me. I would not have felt the need to write this if those two instances did not occur. If you want to help Adrian boost his employee credits while doing all the work yourself, definitely patron this location--at least that's the experience that I received. If not, I advise using a different store to spend your money. read more

Service has gone down. I remember it being a reliable & helpful store. Heaven forbid you ask the new staff for help now.

I had an excellent experience at this ATT store. Adrien and Alfredo helped us transfer one Cricket line android to iPhone and upgrade another iPhone. They were patient, attentive, and professional. They are very well versed in the technologies needed to accomplish what we needed done and they kept us informed every step of the way. Alfredo also applied our new phone protectors and he treated our phones like they were his own. Both were also very friendly and funny which made the experience much more fun and relaxing. read more

I don't know the name of the women that helped my uncle but she was sitting in the door, my uncle recently lost all his card and his ID but he had a picture of his ID she had asked for it and he explained what had happened and she claimed she couldn't help up even if we had a picture of the ID. We went to a different AT&T and they were so helpful and didn't make a fuss about the ID. All that we were tying to get was a SIM card for a line that we already have there we weren't even trying to open a new line for her to do all that. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! read more

I had the worst experience I have ever had purchasing a product or service. The salesman, Michael came to my house and sold me an iPhone 13. I was so Gracious to him. I made him lunch and spent two hours talking to him about sports. We continue to talk about the Dodgers and other teams for a week after he came to my house. Later that week I offered him kings tickets. I not only found that he completely LIED about the terms of the deal, but pulled a scam on me. AT&T won't even call back after 12 attempts. As Mike said, "AT&T will just sweep it under the rug." My experience with AT&T and Michael specifically caused me an inordinate amount of stress. The guy is a liar! read more

It's supposed to be first come, first helped... and not who's the most loudest and ignorant person there. Salesman (didn't catch his name) was in the process of helping us and instead helped a lady who claimed she was there first (which is not true because we walked in first and the associate acknowledged us first). Rather than start a fight, we let it go. We had to wait for the next available associate but by the time we were helped, I was already frustrated and I walked away empty handed. My mom needed a new phone and we were there to ask questions and start the process of activating a new phone if they had one available. I also wanted to inquire about adding a new service to our existing account but I'll have to find a different store that's not ghetto so we can be helped. read more

I went to AT&T in Compton per AT&T to complete an affidavit 4a stolen fone. AT&T said they'll help me here & handle the paperwork. I spoke to Rod here. I shouldn't be allowed to use my phone before my morning coffee. While talking to a coworker, I must have been holding down too many buttons simultaneously and inadvertently change the settings on my phone. I was completely locked out. So I ran down to my nearest AT&T and thankfully Brigitte was able to fix it within a few minutes. Thank you thank you thank you! read more

I come here once or twice a year and depending on the night you'll either wait 20-30 minutes for service or you'll get help right away. Pro's it's close to me. Cons: sales reps seem to always distract each other with small talk. This genius bar approach from at&t is not the best for phone service since the reps themselves are either inexperienced or small talking in front of customers. You also always seem to find the wandering employee that is acting busy, but is clearly doing nothing. read more

They have 2 people standing around with AT&T shirts on, one is behind the counter on her phone did not say 1 word to me. So I spoke and asked if she works here, she says no I'll get someone to help you. Then another employee says she does not start for another 10 minutes. Not sure if this location is understaffed or undertrained, but no one is helpful. Oh look another employee just came from the back and walked right past me, while I wait at the counter. Just make some eye contact and let me know someone will be with me when they can. read more

Went in to see why my phone randomly turns off and malfunctions with the Bluetooth in my car at times. I had to wait a super long time for the rep to come up with no answers except to upgrade to a new phone that is more compatible with my car and a new 2-year contract. Hell no!! This is exactly why I refuse to get a new phone now. At&t is ridiculous. read more

Poor customer service, they had no problem selling me a watch but when it came down to returning it within the 14 day period, they made excuses and said they could not. I asked the store number/ID so I could contact the corporate office but they did not know it (what the hell??). Toya was nice but not very informative or helpful, is it too much to ask to be helpful. The issue is still unresolved because I've tried to contact them over the phone at least 10 times and you cant get anyone to pick up. Ridiculous! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS AT&T. JOE and his manager RUDY are the worst, they have no customer service skills. They deserve zero stars. They are not helpful and give attitude. This is the closest ATT to my house and I only come here as a last resort. I came on today to make a payment but also needed to check my brother's phone it's a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge which would keep dropping calls or just not dialing out. After waiting for about 10 minutes I was helped by a a guy named JOE. His attitude was blah, not even a hello or just courtesy small talk. I explained what was going on and he took the phone and did a diagnostics on and said it was fine but that he would replace the SIM card. And he did but while we waited for the phone to reboot he was not social able, was distracted by other things. Worst AT&T store ever! Needed to pick up 2 SIM cards and was told by phone support to just walk in and pick some up and call back. Was told that they could not do that without activating the cards. I come to this att because it's convenient but never satisfied. Don't know if it's the people they hire or the lack of training given. Worst At&t location. Customer service is horrible. I came here to return an iPhone due canceling my service. Reps don't have manners nor know how to attend customers. Just to return the device took me about 2 hrs to do so. This is worse than being at the ER waiting to be seeing. Only reason I waited was because they were charging me the due balance on the device and before they try to send it to collection I had no choice but to wait.
