Criminals. AT&T stole $470.37 from my business checking account and I don't even have any association with AT&T (not a customer). I filed a claim with them about 2 months ago and they refuse to answer me. It amazes me that a large company like AT&T is content with just ignoring the fact that they stole money from an unsuspecting victim. If I could give less stars I would.... but AT & T, you've got to do better!!! A friend of mines whose husband just passed away from a freak accident has been trying to get her AT&T account in her own name since his passing bit has been met with nothing but resistance and broken promises. She produced death certificate and anything else they requested, and was even told that it was "handled". Nope, still not switched over. This situation is difficult enough! Hands down the best customer service I have had. I have been waffling about switching from AT&T to T-Mobile or back to Verizon for a while now and was going to pull the trigger today. I went around and got prices at all three of them today and the only really honest one I got was from AT&T. Verizon wanted to charge me nearly $200 a month and sell me two phones that are being discontinued, at T-Mobile their "quote" to me had increased by $20 in the span of a week but, one customer rep at At&T sold me on staying today. I huge shout out to the Customer Services Rep Peyton for going way above and beyond to help me. The sale went smoothly, I said what I was willing to pay per month and she went through my list of options. I did get take the upgrade to the 5G package with HBO Max and am happy with that choice. What made things amazing is I had to return to the store because I was having issues transferring from my old phone to the new one. My old crappy J3 just would not connect to the internet. Peyton got it to connect using her WiFi hotspot and sat patiently while the phones transferred. That was way above and beyond the call of duty there and really stellar customer service. I hope AT&T has somewhere on their website where I can tell corporate they have a star employee! read more

Came here to get a new phone and service. Had no issues getting the phone I wanted, I love my new Galaxy 8+. All the staff was friendly and helpful. They were upfront with the prices and what my monthly bill would be and How much the phone would be a month. After everything was set up they went through setting up the phone with me and helped with all my questions. Call ahead to schedule a time to be taken care of. Do NOT just walk in. You will save yourself lots of time this way. I do like the coverage they offer. The LTE is nice here and when I travel. However, I am getting very tired of the prices. The associate I last dealt with was very bad at explaining why I was being charged certain fees or why the plan billing was setup the way it was. read more

I had a new iPhone 11 and could not get the new phone all set up from my old phone, so I went to this AT&T store. While I was waiting for my turn, I was able to observe Rene with her existing customers. She was very patient and dedicated to them. When my turn came up, I was fortunate to get Rene as my AT&T support. She gave me the same attention and dedication that she had with her previous customers. Representative Zach W.H. here is super nice and I'm impressed by his professional working and patience. For some reasons, I got difficulties with porting my old number from the previous carrier. He waited for me and kept negotiating with the service operators even after business hours. He tried everything he could to help me save $19 from the old carrier. He is not obligated to do that and if I were him I won't do that either. However, even though we failed, he is amazing for his efforts with customers and started a really good impression of me on AT&T read more

One nice employer tells me that it is OK to return an iPhone, after talking to the store manager. Went back to hotel to bring some phone accessories, waited for a 45 minutes line, another employer tells me now that it is not OK to return it, need to pay the termination fee, after talking to the same store manager. Wasted a lot of time and nerves. Confusion: 30 days from ordering date of a new phone or shipment date? Who knows ... Why returning? Because of many dropped calls and poor signal. AT&T fault, iPhone fault? Perhaps both of them. On top of this, I am traveling and reset the phone for return, now I need to be near my computer at home to get it working again ... read more

I always went to AT&T store here in Savoy, and just recently, I learned that it's no longer corporate-owned store, but pretty much an authorized dealer. I went there on the first day that they moved in. The store manager was very helpful to solve my problems even though it's not something a dealer was supposed to do. Wow! I called the store in Savoy today to find out if I could transfer my internet to where we would be moving. This is ofcourse a yes or no answer. I was put on hold by a gentleman at 12:26 pm. About 43 mins later a lady asked me what I had been holding for. I told her, she got me my answer while still on the line within a minute. Whoever the gentleman is can hope I dont get treated like that again. That would never fly where customer service is really valued. I had a great experience working with both Andy, Zach and Dominique at this store. Dominique ported in 5 numbers from 2 different locations. With it came a lot of unexpected headaches. She and Andy exhibited an enormous amount of patience and care that it was done right. When I returned to the store the next day with issues related to Apple ID's being mixed up between our family's phones, both Andy and Zach spent their afternoon helping me fix them. This, in my opinion, was not their job as it was related to Apple issues, but their knowledge was vast in regard to Apple products and I left the store that day with everything straightened out! Extremely grateful for their knowledge, time and patience and would recommend seeing any of them for AT&T services. read more

Bad place to buy an iPhone. I purchased one there in July and the speaker stopped working. I hadn't damaged the phone. They told me I had to go to an apple store (which is hours away) or send it in. I was willing to send it in and asked to borrow a phone in the mean time. I didn't have an old phone so They told me I had to buy a "go phone" it was against their policy to give out a temporary phone. I told them I bought the phone at the AT&T store and hadn't damaged it so I shouldn't have to spend money on it. I work in the hospital and am on call frequently I absolutely have to have a phone that works and with email capabilities. So in the end I was forced to buy spend $200 on a new phone even though I had done nothing to my iPhone, while it gets fixed. Either don't go here or don't buy an iPhone. read more

This is the worst store I have ever patronized. As a business person, I use this store's customer service as an example of how NOT to treat people or customers. The manager and his associate need to learn from the corporate store on north Prospect. If I was the district manager for central Illinois, I would shut down the store and start over again. Not only do you have to wait a long time for service, but there is no "line" for serving people. People are served randomly. I wanted to return my two note 7 phones for replacement. The manager and the associate told me they would have new phones from the Decatur store several days later. When I went in a week later to pick up the new phones, they had forgotten about getting them. The manager had no accountability in this. REALLY!!? Anyway, they sent me to the Danville store that same day to pick up the two new phones. The Danville store could not believe how stupid they were because they could not take back the old phones and give me new phones. They stated that the phones could only be returned to a corporate store. I then went to the Prospect store and the store manager (Scott) drove to Springfield that day and gave me the two new phones later that day. Thank you Scott. The Savoy store is a joke. If you want good, solid service, go to Prospect Ave. Wait...thank you Savoy for helping me teach people what bad customer service is! read more
