Easy and non stressful . I'm confident all my information was deleted and the equipment is being recycled. Just easy and pleasant. I am submitting this complaint to report what I believe to be a deceptive and unfair warranty…read morepractice by Apple Inc. in connection with the diagnosis and handling of a defective iPhone that remained under the manufacturer's express warranty. I owned an iPhone 15 that was still within Apple's limited warranty period. The device exhibited severe and abnormal battery drain, rendering it unusable after only several hours of normal use. I contacted my wireless carrier, T-Mobile, and was advised that because the device was under Apple's warranty, I should seek service directly from Apple. I subsequently visited an Apple Store for warranty evaluation. Apple personnel informed me that there was "no issue" with the battery hardware despite the abnormal battery performance. I contested this conclusion based on the device's real-world behavior. Apple representatives asserted that the issue was caused by "software" rather than a hardware defect and recommended that I perform a complete device wipe and reinstall all applications from scratch before Apple would further address the issue. This proposed remediation imposed a substantial and unreasonable burden, requiring several hours of uncompensated time and disruption. I declined and noted that if Apple's diagnosis were accurate, then a newly purchased iPhone running the same operating system and applications would necessarily exhibit the same battery drain. Apple personnel did not provide a substantive response to this point. Because Apple refused to repair or replace the device under warranty, I purchased a new iPhone at my own expense. I installed the same operating system version, restored the same applications, and resumed the same usage patterns. Under these identical conditions, the battery drain issue did not occur. The replacement device functioned normally. This outcome directly contradicts Apple's stated diagnosis and strongly indicates that the original device suffered from a hardware defect that should have been covered under warranty. Apple's refusal to honor its warranty caused me financial harm and forced the replacement of a device that should have been repaired or replaced at no cost. I am concerned that Apple's conduct reflects a broader practice of attributing hardware defects to nonspecific "software" causes in order to discourage or avoid valid warranty claims, particularly where the proposed remediation imposes an unreasonable time burden on consumers. If systemic, such practices may constitute unfair or deceptive acts or practices under Florida's Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA) and undermine the purpose of express consumer warranties.

It's nice to see that a couple of people had good experiences. I don't know if these are Verizon…read moreemployees or their family members, however, I believe 1 or 2 of them. The fact that someone is impressed that a Verizon CSR transferred the data from one phone to another sounded great until you hear that Verizon charged them for that service! That's ridiculous! It's also nice to hear that another person empathized that customer service jobs are hard, if that was a real review. The other good review I saw was a person who was purchasing a few things and the CSR was helpful with that process.... of course, let's keep that commission rolling in. There were so many bad experiences and I truly hope this doesn't sound like I'm trying to one up any of them, because all of those experiences are horrible and deserve to be told and read. Here is my experience which is so difficult and disgusting to tell still upsets me. Today started with me looking for any Verizon store to visit other than Cortez Rd and 14th Street. After being there with my husband and kids for hours to open a 5 cellphone business account, in-car wifi, house & business wifi, as well as home & business landlines. I was then told it was taking a long time due to their computer issues. I was then told they couldn't set up a business account for me, even though my business was verified through my sunbiz.org account. I was then told by the manager (I don't remember his name, but I remember that he had tattoos, because we were complimenting each other's tattoos when I first arrived), if we couldn't finish in 10 minutes I would have to return the next day because it was closing time, even though we had been there for over 3 hours. Due to the stress of that, my husband noticed signs from me that an epileptic seizure was coming on. Seeing as it was 8:01pm my husband was told that if he went outside to get my rescue medicine, they wouldn't let him back in with it. OR... I could go outside alone walking on the concrete and hope that I would successfully navigate around the concrete parking bumpers without having a seizure and/or serious injury. So obviously we left and I due to the extreme stress, I had a seizure in the car. Then, 2 days later we went to Verizon in Sarasota. We thought that we had a great experience there, and though it wasn't great, it was good. However, I never got a lot of the features that I was told I was getting. It's very sad. You guys are the McDonald's of cell phone companies, you can have the worst customer service, charge a lot, and not care about the hard earned money that your customer's give you, because no matter how many customers and respect you lose or how many people you upset. It will never be important enough to you or enough customers to put you out of business. That's why you will never change or follow through with your empty promises. Hopefully, Yelp is correct and I will find a. CSR in Palmetto who will actually care and help.

Gerald was so rude and dismissive, I cannot believe he is a manager there. I have been a Verizon…read morecustomer for over 20 years and have never been treated so poorly. I upgraded my daughter's phone who is serving in the military overseas so she cannot get it herself and no one explained to me that the SIM would be locked and she could not use the phone for at least 90 days! I have been paying the bill for a year and a half just so that she can keep and use that number while she is overseas. She uses an overseas SIM card so that her local calls don't cost an arm and a leg. She has been unable to use the phone and Gerald was very rude about the whole thing. If Verizon can unlock the SIM at 90 days, they can unlock it at 30 days. He also would not guarantee me that it would even be unlocked after 90 days or if I paid off the phone in full. He just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. It is ridiculous that I have to pay for a phone and my daughter can't even use it. You should consider some additional customer service training for management.
