I previously came to this store because the 4G LTE internet connection didn't work a few months ago. Unfortunately the new SIM card didn't work and nothing changed. But I gave this store another try earlier today. After 15 minutes of troubleshooting, it seemed like there was nothing to show for those efforts. I was told to call technical support. When I got home I tested the phone, and my 4G LTE connection ACTUALLY started working again. There's no need for more technical support, as Stephen DID manage to get my phone to work again. I have been in the store twice in the last couple months and the customer service is horrible. And the greeter at the front door possibly the manager is really rude. I went there to have them transfer my iPhone 14 from my old phone and they messed it up horribly.. and the person that helped me was so obnoxious about it and talk down to me like it was my fault. So let me tell you a story about AT&T: my fiance and i used to use them until we moved into a new apartment a couple of months ago. We had to find a new provider because they didnt service this area. That turned out to be great because now we are getting better speeds for $20 less a month. So the other day we get a notice on the door of our new apartment to say that AT&T will be coming into our home to run some kind of cable so they can service the area. Im already not happy about this, but wait... It gets better! We get home today and things are not where we left them in the bedroom, and the trash is ALL OVER THE FLOOR! Like REALLY???? you cant even pick UP after yourself??? And you didnt hafta move as much stuff as you did!!! SO glad we cancelled AT&T, you have lost my business forever!! On Feb 27,2020 I came into the Folsom Blvd in Sacramento AT&T store to buy a new I-phone. Unfortunately my old phone was dying. I got fantastic help from Jahlil. He recommended the XR and I really like it. At first he was not going to be able to transfer my information from my old phone to the new phone but with Jahlil's talents he was able to do so. I got everything done with his quiet and professional help. In fact all three employees were helpful and easy to talk to. Jahlil saved my day since I do not live in Sacramento and I needed everything done right then. I started not to write a review on this place cause it's gonna look like I work here but I've never had a bad experience here. The customer service is great and have never had any issues here. The wait times are a little long but I've been to more than one location and you pretty much have to wait at all of them. The location in the highlands has the fastest time though. I went there today because I was looking to upgrade to the iPhone six and I got it with no issues. Jasmine was very helpful and recommended that even though I can keep my unlimited plan there was another plan available that I would pretty much be paying the same price but I would have 4g LTE speed. She explained that even though I have unlimited data its unlimited 3G data but I don't see a difference so I'm not switching. The info was helpful though she could have been full of crap but I got my phone and case and everything went smooth. She warned that next time I upgrade att is probably gonna kick me off the unlimited plan so I'll enjoy it while it lasts. read more

AT&T Store - Getting my iPhone 6 with the screen protector - Mobile Phones Near Me - Arlington, Texas

I typically limit my reviews to restaurants, bars and other types of eating establishments but I just had to share my experience in this AT&T store. I've been coming here for years and have bought multiple phones, hotspots, an ipad and peripherals and have always had a great experience. Today was no different. A young lady greeted me upon arrival and asked me to wait until a rep was available. The wait was fairly short and Will, the sales associate, came over, introduced himself and asked me how he could help. He wasn't sure he could assist since the problem was with my iphone but he was happy to try. He checked a few settings on my iphone, then my laptop and then he solved my compatibility problem. I won't go into detail but suffice to say that he provided exceptional customer service even when he wasn't sure if he could help. It didn't matter that I wasn't making a purchase that day; he gave me the assistance I needed. Yesterday I went to the Apple store in Fort Worth and they weren't even willing to give me two minutes of their time without an appointment. Needless to say the Apple store is a total waste of time and I am now a loyal customer of this AT&T store. I highly recommend you shop this store and ask for Will. He's great! read more

I'm at the point where I will never return to At&t this is the 3rd time they have taken my money and told me I still have to pay as well as the women Jessica in the store that contacted my internet services messed up my services and everytime I call her or go into the store she's not there and they tell me they can't help me bc it's in her files so now I have been charged twice for a installation fee and twice for deact fee when I was told from the jump that the payment I made up front would cover my installation and obviously it doesn't so the ring to charge me again again again fuck At&t they said i would get my 100$ credit to my account but didn't and they want us to pay again read more

Normally going to the phone store is like going to get a root canal. But this store definitely changed my perception. They take your name when you arrive and there is a screen with the waiting customers listed. There's also a sitting area and a real tv while waiting (take note sprint). Victoria was absolutely amazing. I upgraded my phone and switched over from sprint. I was expecting an hour and a half (based on horrible experiences with sprint) but it was complete in half the time. And she was very thorough in explaining about the difference in plans, etc. All in all a great, pleasant experience! read more

I signed up for some new services because Robbie told me it would save me money over the current service I had. When I received my first bill it was twice as much as I was paying for my previous service. I went back in and spoke with both Robbie and the manager Gair about the bill and was told that the back office didn't bundle it properly. They said that they would correct the bill and contact me once that was done. After more than a week of excuses and promises to fix it and a call back, it is still not corrected and no one is calling me back. Horrible customer service. I am a fire fighter so when I get my Time to come home and sleep I need it. AT&T came to my door at 9:32 PM and repeatedly knocked on my door until I answer. They refused to leave until I literally got up in my boxers and answer the door. He told me that it would be way more cheaper than Spectrum and a whole lot faster guarantee. Since then my Internet has gone in and out. And I have had a tech come out to fix the line outside and it appeared better. The next day the Internet was worse than ever the TV was pixelated my phone wouldn't even load Instagram Facebook a website not even maps. It is the slowest that has ever been they hustled me into getting on AT&T and off spectrum. Now I have to call another tech to come to my house to see what is wrong I called AT&T and the support line says due to Covid blah blah blah you can't talk to anybody so it basically hangs up on you I do not want AT&T anymore I want them to take this box back and give me my spectrum service back they literally wasted my money put me on a contract gave me slower Internet speeds and now I have to pay a fee for Spectrum read more

I have had AT&T for nearly 10 years of my life. I have traveled the word and finally settled in Arlington Texas. I first went to this store a year ago to get a charger for my phone. I had the worst experience with AT&T ever in my life that year ago. I was hounded to upgrade my plan and then harassed to buy more items. Finally I said I was leaving due to the harassment. A year later I decided to go back and get the iPhone 5s. I walk in and waited like everyone else. When I finally spoke to a rep I ask to get the iPhone. He starts to tell me how I can get their "next" program and how I had to have it. I told him no I would just like to renew my contract and then get the new iPhone. The issue now was he still went on how I had to upgrade other items. I told him again no I would not like any upgrades please let me just get the iPhone renew my contract. He finally lets up and checks some drawer behind the check stand and comes back to tell me they had none left and the last one was sold right before me. Now let me explain to you why I am upset. My friend went to the same store to get an iPhone after me. He got the "next" program added to his plan and got an iPhone. So not only have I been harassed at this store to buy more then I should two times I have been screwed out of getting a phone because I didn't want to add extra chargers to my plan. The staff here sucks and makes AT&T have a worse name. I will not only tell people not to come back to this store. I will make it clear to the word this store is a bunch of harassing a$$ holes. read more

If all possible try to avoid this location. I'm extremely surprise with the customer service with this AT&T location. I have to say this is the first time I have been extremely upset with AT&T customer service. I wasn't even greeted when I first walked in. I looked at a few iPhone accessories, then I sat down to wait for a representative to speak with. I waited approximately ten minutes. I have no issues waiting, I know it's time consuming to take care of the customers. I'm upset because after waiting ten minutes to be acknowledge a customer who walked in after me gets greeted and a representative immediately takes care of him. After that happened I got up and walk out. I just went to the apple store in southlake. Great Customer Service. I love AT&T like I said before this is the first time I've had any issues with their customer service. THIS location is the problem not the company. Never go to this store, The worst service ever! It is a big store with lots of customers but only 2-3 staff always. First time, I came to add a line to our share plan, after 50 minutes waiting, they called my name! There were only 6 people in front of me and it took 59 minutes!! They said they cannot do this unless if the account holder is "physically" here and it cannot be done via calling him. The next day, I went to a small att store and they did it for me by calling the account holder. Next time, They put me in line and they said it takes 50 minutes, I went for some shopping and came back in 30 minutes, they said they called me and they kicked me off the list! read more

This store is horrible. The only thing worse than having to wait for at least 25 minutes every time I visited them is the fact that the last employee who "helped" me know nothing about customer service. She kept snapping at me when I asked more than one question, and every 5 minutes she would walk away to talk to her manager since she did not know how to answer my questions. I think the problem is also rooted in how AT&T serves its customers. I went into the store 2 weeks ago to have my number transferred from a shared account under my housemate's name to an account under mine. The person who helped me then said that they started an account for me but could not activate it because the person who needed to check my credit report through my social was unable to. Mind you this was a person who he was chatting with in a tablet, and I could not get enough information on what the problem was. They told me to solve the problem with my social and that I could come back, without the account owner (my housemate), and they would take care of it. After visiting the social security administration and contacting the major credit bureaus, I was able to confirm that my information was in order and that there was not problem. Naturally I went back to the store and told the lady I was talking to that I have my account number and would like to finish the transfer. First, she tells me that the person who met with me last did not put the required note in my housemates account that said that the he has given permission to transfer the number to my new account. The problem was that my friend was in India, and he could not be physically available in the store. So I called him on a voice over IP app that I have on my phone. He talks to her but she says that she cannot confirm his identity over the phone, and that if he wants to do that he had to call AT&T customer service.... From India. Thank God he was able to do so. You would think that was the end of the problem, but no. Now she tries to open up an my account but still their credit people, with whom she is chatting with on a computer, cannot confirm my social. When I asked if she can tell me how they are doing the credit check she gives me attitude and tells me that that is not something we share with our customers. Then she makes up some silly reason saying that I have a "work social" and that AT&T does not accept those. Mind you my housemate and I got our socials together and work at the same institute, yet he was able to provide his and get an account. Needless to say that after this whole fiasco, I had my friend cancel his account and we both got new accounts with T-Mobile. Who by the way easily confirmed my social in 5 minutes. read more

My fingers will drop off before I can finish writing how disgusted I am with ATT. They not only have the worst service offerings in terms of internet and tv, they absolutely gouge you in the process. I went into one of their stores to attempt to renegotiate my monthly bill. I spoke with a rep, who was nice enough and offered to help. He called their billing department on my behalf and asked to speak with a "Loyalty" person, the idea being that I was prepared to cancel my entire service if I couldn't get a better monthly price. Not once, but TWICE when the rep explained my situation to his own employee over the phone, the Loyalty rep HUNG UP on the store employee! I then told the rep I was in the process of moving to a new home and asked what deals he could offer me if I went with ATT for internet and basic tv programming in the new location. When he was done working the voodoo on his laptop, he offered me a "deal" that was $20 per month MORE than what I'm currently paying in the house I'm moving out of! Obviously, his offer was made after thirty minutes of my complaining about my current bill and his aborted attempt to give me some relief. And if course they want to switch you into Direct TV which is an even worse service than their cable. My advice is avoid these clowns. Find basic internet and cut the cord for tv channels. Too many other viewing options out there. And god save us from these predatory near-monopolists. read more

This is probably the worst experience I've ever had with AT&T and it came on the time of the iPhone 6 release. I arrived at midnight today to wait in line for the iPhone 6 Plus. When I arrived there were 9 people ahead of me waiting. The employees started arriving at 6:30-7:00. One of the employees came outside and said they had 10 iPhone 6 Plus available in 64gb and 128gb so I knew I was guaranteed a phone. Plus there were 3 people ahead of me that wanted the iPhone 6 so I knew for sure I was getting the iPhone 6 Plus. As 8:00am comes around they start letting people in. They just let 20 people in at once instead of organizing it and going one by one. My associate Leroy wasn't quick enough to get the iPhone 6 Plus before the other associates were so I didn't get the phone. There were people behind that got the phone simply because their associate was quicker than mine. I asked to speak to the general manager Kim because it was unfair that someone behind me received a phone and I didn't after waiting 8 hours. All she could say was I'm sorry and that they can take my name and number and call me when they get a shipment in. I asked if she can simply walk up to another customer and tell them there was an inconvenience and it was only fair that it was on a first come first serve basis and I was ahead of them. She said sorry I can't once again. Kim left to the back and never returned. She sent out Leroy with her card, took my name and number, and that was it. Leroy said we were getting hostile, only because we were frustrated after not sleeping and waiting 8 hours and someone who only waited 3 got one before I did. After trying to figure out how hard it is to form a line and have customers come in one by one I had to leave. They thought it was rocket science. They were completely unorganized for an event they knew that was gonna be huge. When and if I get a phone from them I'll never return to this AT&T store. read more

Was at this location recently. Got signed in and was told if would be about half an hour wait. Store was not too crowded at the time. Proceeded to tell the woman that signed me in, that I was there to purchase an Iphone 6. After waiting an hour and a half, one man came up to help me - asked if I had a color preference for the Iphone 6, and I said yes. He went to the back to check on what colors were in stock. He later came back out with no phone in hand, ignored me, and went on to help someone else. Almost half an hour later, Miguel showed up to help me. Went thru the process with him, then to find out they had no 6's in stock. Only to find out after I felt pressured to buy the 6+ - that they only had one color in stock. After all was done, transferring data/info, they sales consultant wiped out all my text messages, that normally are transferred with all the other data on the phone (never had a problem with transferring my data until now, what a mess!)...2 1/2 hours later, I am done. The sales consultant mentioned ordering the color I wanted, and having it shipped...but, after the long, ridiculous ordeal I went thru, why would I want to have one shipped - then have to return to the store to have it set up and data transferred. I sure didn't want to return to this location, ever. Some employees were actually working, and a couple were just standing around. Also, why should it take two consultants, to help one person at the same time. In all honesty, the girl at the door signing people in - should have been able to tell those who had only come to their store to purchase an Iphone 6 - that they had none. Very unprofessional, lack of communication. Since I obviously have two weeks to change my mind, or swap out for the color I wanted - will now be going to the Apple store - to do business. Had done business with this specific location for several years - well not any longer. Am hoping this is not how they treat all their customers, is to mislead them just to keep them in the store - and attempt to sell them something else. (TO CONTINUE) 12-30-14...I have been trying to reach the Arlington, Texas store (817-276-2100) for the third day now - and no one ever answers the phone. I have the cell number for the sales consultant that assisted me, nor is he answering the phone, and there is no voicemail set up.
