Oh jeez, had to dust off my Yelp and modify a review I left ages ago. Just had the worst experience dealing with a simple screen replacement. Went later in the day, cracked iPhone screen, straight-forward replacement, got it finished near closing time, paid and left. Only after a bit of normal use, it must have had some compatibility problem (3rd rate aftermarket screen probably) and would not pinch-to-zoom. Took it back the next day, the attendant acknowledged it, replaced it again and it still was doing it. The attendant herself (like the employee the night before) was as helpful/polite as she could be, but it all turned to garbage when she got the owner on speakerphone for a "now what do I do?" call. He tried to pawn it off on us that the phone's "data was corrupt" and we needed to basically reinstall/update system??? The worst case of "did you try restarting it?" I've ever heard. It then became like an episode of Columbo with my indicating that the phone was fine, if the data was a problem, it wouldn't have changed with the screen, and he was all "these work all the time blah blah blah". It was immensely stressful and dripped with lack of concern for customer satisfaction. I told him he could just forget about me taking the phone home and doing some sort of factory install on it to just be back where we started from, and I needed the phone fixed now. Bear in mind, I put the attendant herself at ease that she was not the problem, that this was her off-site manager's rotten idea of customer service policy. Thinking WE were the one's going to be stuck, he said snarkily "what do you want me to do then?" And we replied, "a refund?" He snapped "then you're going to get a phone without a screen" (clearly he didn't grasp how this repair had been basically mere hours prior, on the previous night). We told them "just put the original cracked screen back on, it's probably still in the trash can!" [It was at this moment... he knew.... he f/ed up] The (still nice as she could be) attendant went back and got the heaping case of trashed screens with a look on her face like "good luck." Without missing a beat, we just grabbed the one right on top, there it was, the exact one... "there it is! Just put it back on and give us our money back!" (Gotta say, poor attendant girl giggled... agreeably). The owner had nothing else arrogant to offer at this point, and the attendant put the old screen back on. Oh! And then we held the phone in front of her and demonstrated perfectly normal pinch-to-zoom function, (which OF COURSE it was their shoddy replacement parts with compatibility issues). That got a smile outta her. He begrudgingly authorized the refund, like pulling teeth. We left losing a whole day right back where we started from because of this owner. Anyway, beyond offensively rotten customer service POLICY, so bad it's punishment for the poor employees just needing the paycheck. The owner is a classic "take the money and run" shyster. The only thing fun about the whole stressful experience is we've turned his "your data is corrupt" B.S. line into a household meme to have fun irritating each other. "Hey, guess what... your data's corrupt!" "OMG DAD, WILL YOU STOP!!" hehehe... anyway, our luck ran out here. Recommend you just drive right on by unless you like being taken for a tool. read more

They replaced screen on my iPhone 8 Plus, locked out and lost all info on phone. After 2 phone calls and 3 more visits the screen still has dead spots that don't recognize I'm touching it, number/letter keys don't match up with the letter I'm trying to press, voice text recognizes every third or 4th word and completely skips 1-3 words. Should've saved the money and put it toward a new phone. read more

Took my phone in for screen repair. It was very unresponsive and sometimes had a mind of itself. They do offer a warranty, so I went back in and the mgr didn't want to replace it again a. He blame it on some settings on my phone and told me to come back if it messed up again. It never worked correctly so I went back and they replaced the screen again along with the battery (which I paid extra for). I continued to have problems and went BACK for a 4th time. They replaced the 'new' battery and it worked "ok" for a few months but the screen continued to mess up and was out of 'warranty' at this time. I had to buy a NEW phone. ***UPDATE--glass is actually moving upon touch and lifting at the corners! They could care less!! DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING TO BE REPAIRED HERE! We took our daughter's iPad mini on 10-13 to hv broken screen fixed. Already today 10-17 it is cracked! She was using her sleeve with just a swiping pressure and it cracked in the lower R hand corner. Took it in and Stephanie called her manager to ask about warranty. No "warranty for physical damage". I do understand that but nothing "physical" was done to it. As we are In the store I barely touched the screen and it cracked 1/2 way up! Manager over phone had told her he would replace again for 1/2 the cost of 1st screen. I left it went to Target to inquire about better cases. While talking to Tech rep he asked where it was being repaired. He had similar story from his sister with her phone from this place. He explained it is because they use THIN GLASS. I then returned to Cellphone Trendz to get iPad bc I didn't want them to touch it again. After telling Stephanie that I didn't want them touching it again she handed it to me. It had further cracked ALL THE WAY UP. She completely denied that it had cracked further. She looked straight down at it before as I had pointed to it. She called manager again and he was unwilling to do ANYTHING! Said he would be in the store tomorrow from a whole 11-1:30! I will just use social media to get the word out NOT TO USE THEM! This is my absolute favourite cellphone repair shop that I've been to in North Fort Worth, It was well situated for the Southlake/Keller/North Richland Hills/Hurst Area right between Davis and Precinct Line. They keep weird hours, so make sure you check before you go. They are very quick with their phone repairs, and everyone I've spoken to in person there has been incredibly nice and friendly to me (although I had one phone conversation and spoke to someone who didn't seem like they knew what they were doing). They tend to match prices for Iphone repair to the Apple store, and they've never been demeaning like how it feels walking into Apple. They've replaced my screen at least three times, and given me a battery replacement, very good work! read more

I ordered some items to be delivered to this store. Three separate times I stopped by during posted store hours and they were closed saying they would be back later. I called their number and was told by a female that the store clerk needed to run an errand and would be back in 20mins (I had already waited 15mins). I decided to come back a 4th time to pick up my items and was met by a VERY rude young man that said he could not give me my order without my QR code. I had the emails with the order number and everything but due to the weak cell connection my phone was not able to pull up the QR code. He proceeded to tell me that there was nothing he could do for me and I'd need to contact the Wish website and cancel my order since I couldn't pull up the QR code. I asked if i could forward the email to him and see if he could pull up the code. He responded with a "Nope". And then proceeded to say how there's nothing he could to help me and he guesses I should cancel the order. Soooo rude and extremely unhelpful. My son was able to make a hot spot and pull up the QR code from the email and we finally retrieved our order but the store employee was horribly rude. read more

DO NOT USE THEM TO REPLACE YOUR IPHONE SCREEN!! My son recently broke his screen and I had it replaced here for $100. Since this replacement His phone has been freezing and finally quit working. We took it to the Apple Store and was informed by the Genius Bar that because of the cheap glass used to replace his screen his phone was no longer working. It ruined a perfectly good iPhone 6 because they used inferior glass. Do not fall prey to this company. Make sure you are getting certified glass from Apple. Our hundred dollar repair now will become a $500 new iPhone. read more

So disappointed. My IPhone 6+ was ruined after the glass was shattered when I got caught in a storm & my phone got blown to the ground with a table. Prior to this I had dropped the phone numerous times & never cracked it. I came here because the price was reasonable & he promised that they back their work....if I have any problems at all, come back & see him. Well, 2 days later my phone barely fell from about a foot off the ground & the screen shattered. What a joke. I went back in & nope, wouldn't fix it. Even though it was clearly an issue with the screen they put in....a crappy one obviously, they wouldn't fix it unless I paid all over again. Ha! I personally couldn't think of a more unprofessional shop. As previously mentioned this place uses CHEAP THIN GLASS that has a tendency to crack on the inside after a few days of normal use. Upon returning to the store & $100 later they refused to fix their faulty screen, and insisted it was our fault. I brought my phone to this place December 23 for screen replaced. While they were fixing it they called and told me my charging port Needed to be replaced- i gave the okay and paid $120 I was giving this to my son as a gift and did not turn the phone on for programming until the 25th when I noticed the screen had green and blue lines. I took it back on the 27th for them to fix. The charging port was finicky and would not charge at times after the first few days so I took it back the first week of January for which they told me the phone was unrepairable- either they knew this before they had charged for the bad port replace fee or they messed something up like they did when they replaced the screen. Either way AT called and complained and asked for a manager to call me which nobody had I went back up to the store the third week of January to speak directly to a manager nobody was available but took my name and number and have still yet to hear from anybody. read more

Within 24 hours later, SCREEN IS CRACKED (paid for a screen protector). Went in the next day to get it replace since it was still "under warranty" and lady said the repair is not under warranty!! THIS PLACE SUCKS! They damaged my phone just a cracked screen!! I had to take it to apple who refused to touch it without $170 because I went through a third party to fix it in the first place. The whole top part of my phone does not work anymore and the glass is so cheap you could set it down on the counter and it will shatter! Bad customer service, they claimed to fix my iPhone 6 screen and if I go out side and I'm wearing sunglasses I cannot see my screen, it's very dark. I brought my phone back 3 times and they told me they could order another screen but there would be a upcharge of $20. I already paid $79.99 for a screen. They also charged me an extra $14.99 for a diagnostic charge they claim they fixed my sensor ( they did not). It didn't work. I asked for money back and they gave me all except for $14.99 for fixing my sensor. The manager argued with me so much that I told her I would get my $14.99 and I would tell people what are all about how I was treated. Another thing I forgot to mention there was another lady in the store with the same complaint as mine. You would think they would figure out how to keep their customers happy! I will never step foot in this place again. When I first went into this store I needed to just get my iPhone screen replaced, I asked the woman how long it would be and she said 2-3 hours. Came back 2 1/2 hours later, & my phone was still sitting in the same place she put it down. I asked if it was done & she explained how the woman who repairs the phones was only minuets away. After waiting 30 min the woman walked in and started on my phone. About an hour later she came out looking frustrated and told me my front camera and some sensor was broken, I asked her how because it was perfectly fine when I brought it in & she blamed that it was my fault when I dropped it. After telling the manager it was working before I came in & I was not going to pay for the $80 worth of parts to fix the problems she got an attitude with me & refused to even listen to what I had to say. I was extremely upset, & $250 later I got my phone back all torn apart (they didn't even put it back together!) I had a screen replaced by this place after they damaged it replacing a battery. I went ahead and paid for the screen even though I should not have. The screen did not work well. I returned numerous times telling them I thought the screen was bad and to please replace it. They refused. I took the phone to another place and paid once again to have a new screen put on. Where do i even begin. I went in a while ago to get my cracked screen replaced. I got it back and it was having a bunch of issues. I took it back and made them fix it which after a week of them having it to try to fix it again they made it work. Everything was fine until yesterday out of no where my phone started glitching like CRAZY looks like my phone is having a seizure. Took it to apple and my provider and they said that the people who fixed my screen didn't do it right with the right adhesive and such so it made my battery swollen. Therefore, making my screen slightly come off making my phone break!!!! Its not repairable so i have to buy a new phone. It's completely ridiculous. Never take your phone here to get a screen replaced. it might work in the short term but they don't use authentic apple screens and in the long run your risking your phone and your money. -20/10 never recommend. read more

THIS PLACE IS BEYOND THE WORST AS FOR DOING WHAT THEY PROMISE...I took my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge plus in to have screen replaced and the first issue was they lied about being able to have fixed same day. I took in when they opened and that evening when i went to pick up, they hadn't even started. I use my phone for work. they said they'd have it ready by the time they opened the next morning. I was there next morning and they were 45 minutes late opening which made me late for work. When I went in to get my phone they couldn't find it. ???? WTH? so I left after they promised me they'd have by evening. I went back and it was ready but they did something and lost all my pictures and contacts. GRRRRR... not to mention the screen wasnt installed even close to specs. I said you have to make this right and they laughed and said they didn't have to. I was able to have my bank get my money back as a fraudulent charge. the girl at the bank said that place has had many people have to get them for fraud.
