We wanted to try Astra because it is a rooftop restaurant and lounge with a nice view and offers Mediterranean food with an emphasis on Greek food. The teak wood bar is uncovered but they do offer the use of their umbrellas if it rains. The dining area is covered. You can lounge on overstuffed comfy sofas as you enjoy music nightly from a host of DJs and live bands and take in the 360-degree sweeping views of Wynwood and Miami. It is a really cool place and we will return. As you take the elevator up and enter Astra, the bar is straight ahead and the dining area is on the right. The friendly hostess will guide you. We already had dinner so we thought we would have a drink here and enjoy the rooftop experience. Our bartender was very nice and helpful. We each ordered the La Paloma, a Don Julio Blanco tequila with lime juice and soda. It was refreshing. They have a great selection of drinks and were happy to accommodate a drink to your specifications. We had a really good time there. There is street parking. The entrance is located more to the back of the building. We chose a ride share to get there.

Came here for brunch and never coming back... Starting off with the service: POOR. It was slow, the servers were rude and lost, and the restaurant wasnt even packed. Food took 30 minutes to come out. Saw them preparing the bottomless Mimosas, it was a 85/15 ratio of juice to champagne. And the juice had so much pulp it wouldnt leave the jar cause the hole was clogged. The Brunch menu has pretty affordable plates but I guess you get what you pay for. The "Mama's Meatballs" are legit two sad meatballs with tortillas, the "Kabobs" were a singular kabob of the meat choice you ordered. Even the sliders (two btw) were the size of a toddler's fist. I had the Astra burger from their regular menu and it was... okay. Someone in our table had the Crab Benedict and it still had the egg shells in it. YUCK! We were charged for a dish that never came after specifically telling the waiter to cancel it (it was taking too long, we had already finished while the person was STILL waiting for their food) Dont get fooled by the "Rooftop views" they claim to offer. Yea you get a real good view of the empty lots and construction next door. I would honestly skip this place at all costs. You can have much tastier food, better service abd vibes somewhere else.

had a good experience. The rooftop vibe is really nice, and since it was a beautiful day out, that definitely added to the ambiance. It was pretty empty when we arrived, which was nice, but there was no hostess, so us and another group were a little confused about where to go. We ended up walking around until we found someone to help us. Once we were seated, everything went smoothly. Service was good after that initial confusion. We ordered the red snapper and it was amazing, easily the highlight of the meal. The grilled cheese was just okay and not our favorite. The beef souvlaki was decent as well. Overall, it's a nice rooftop spot with good food and a great vibe. I would definitely return, especially on a nice day.

I really enjoyed Astra, the vibes were really upbeat and the DJ helped create a really serene environment with the rooftop views. The food was something you would get fine dining but the DJ and the outdoor patio gave more of a brunch feeling. The staff was really nice and accommodating. If you're looking for a nice rooftop in the Wynwood area I would definitely recommend Astra to anyone considering it.

Awesome outside patio with views! Great happy hour deals! Berry Margarita was tasty! I also had a Paloma which was very strong. The saffron rice with the steak kebab was very dry/hard. The Astra plate was an interesting combination, some chips were soggy. Would not recommend the astra plate.

Rude staff with weird vibes, super pretentious customer base. Rooftop view and vibes aren't even good. I would skip.

Astra has good ambiance awesome view. The service was fine and i haven't gone for food. But I would definitely want to come back to try some for sure. The drinks are definitely great and nice to Come with some friends. The hookah was for was way too over priced so I won't come for that.

Came here for a night out. My bartender was very nice and easygoing when i ordered a mocktail (he even made it really pretty). The skyline view is stunning. You have to come for at least drinks and sit and admire the view of our beautiful city. I cant comment on the food because we didnt eat. I believe they expanded because it's bigger than i remembered. There is now a dj booth area in the back to dance. Great times here.

The ambiance is fire. Very cutesy. The drinks were great. Our waiter was really nice. My steak just taste like meat. No flavor at all. My asparagus taste like burnt grill. The friend snapper and mash potatoes were amazing. Very tasty.

Loved the views, the food and the service! It was such a great experience to take a friend out their first time in Miami, and thankfully Astra did it right! The food was so good so many options I wanted to choose from, from meat chicken and seafood. The prices were high but normal for the area. The drinks were strong and delicious! Full bar! I loved the views of wynwood walls and downtown Miami and the Dj was playing music all night. This is definitely not to take a family out with kids or a first date because it is loud! It's comfortable seating and the service was great fast and attentive! Thank you Astra!

Worst brunch experience I've ever had. I don't even think I can call it brunch because the menu had nothing that had to do with brunch. I'm just going to list everything that went wrong. -Our reservation was at 12. In the photo attached you can see we received our appetizer at 1:22 -Kept being told we had a 2 hour limit even though our food took over an hour to arrive and they kept us sitting there 4 hours -Never made it clear on the website or booking site that there was a pre fixed menu. You would think they would have it together if there was such a small and limited menu. -Reservation was at 12 and we left at 3:50 -Waited an hour for main course after appetizers (photos with time stamps attached) -Had to get up and grab a water pitcher from the server station to fill our own waters because it was 91 degrees in Miami and we were very thirsty -Server took forever to take our orders and never asked if we needed another round of drinks or more water -Filet minion was well done after we asked for them medium rare and came sitting on 2 sticks of asparagus - no other sides -We even asked for dessert to go because we had already been there almost 4 hours, and the order was wrong. I was looking forward to the creme brûlée and that was the one dessert we did not receive -Witnessed the manager telling another customer who had been waiting to "retírese" -Also how does a place serve brunch but no coffee? We were offered an espresso martini but there was no coffee... It's insane because I work in the restaurant industry and I know how it is but this place didn't even look that crowded and the horrific service we got was unacceptable. I wanted to make this a nice and positive experience for Mother's Day but it turned into a nightmare. Just one thing after the other. I hope they can get some new management and maybe train their servers so this doesn't happen again.

Ceviche and Brizola Steak , food was mid don't come here

Poor service, came in a group, and was forced to pay more than what I ordered to split the check because they can't split it accordingly. Would never come back.

We went to Santorini for our honeymoon and my husband and I were celebrating our 16th anniversary. Reservations are hard to get here, especially on the weekend. Luckily I have Gold Status with OpenTable through work and was able to get on the Priority Notify list where I would be the first to know when tables open up on my desired date/time. And that's how we snagged this reservation on OpenTable on a busy Saturday on our actual anniversary. Woot woot!!! First off, this spot is ALL THE FEELS!!! So beautiful and absolutely charming. Just like Santorini. When we arrived, we checked in and only waited for maybe 10 minutes until they sat us. Meanwhile, there were many people waiting. When our table was ready, the hostess seated us to this cute little two top towards the back area, very intimate. For our anniversary, they gave us complimentary champagne. Very cool. Matias was our server and he was wonderful. Informative, attentive and friendly. They had small menu with specials for the day along with their regular menu. Below is everything we ordered: * Karpouzi Fresco $21 * Baked Feta $18 * Grilled Grouper with Orzo $42 * Grilled Lamb Chops $61 Got the Karpouzi Fresco with watermelon, mint, prosecco. The cocktail was perfect for the ambiance and so refreshing. Baked Feta was ridonkulously good with heirloom tomatoes with greek oregano and sumac. So fresh with lots of flavor and served with warm bread right out of the oven. Dinner was at another level and incredibly generous portions but also ELITE!!! Grilled Grouper with orzo was nice and the small shrimp was a nice surprise, funny enough when this dish came out, the grouper was hidden under the orzo and we thought they brought out the wrong dish. That was odd. Grilled Lamb Chops were cooked on point and so juicy with good flavor. Everything was just delicious! We opted not to have desserts here as we wanted to walk around Miami and find another spot for dessert. All in all, we had a lovely anniversary dinner and this place was perfect. So happy we finally got to come here. It's just as charming as the photos show. If you want a small piece of Greece, come here. I don't think you'll be disappointed. It has all the Santorini vibes!

The Ali Nazik was phenomenal. We were given a side of bread, which paired really well with the dish. The lamb was packed with flavor, and the smoked eggplant yogurt was fire. The two complemented each other perfectly. The Eggplant Carpaccio was good as well. I will say, though, that if you aren't a fan of dishes with a heavy vinegar flavor, this may not be for you. I'd also be curious to see how this dish would taste served warm. For our entree, we ordered the Beef Souvlaki, which came with six skewers of filet mignon. The beef was perfectly cooked and very tender, so no complaints there. However, the rest of the dish didn't really stand out to me. The fries were decent, but nothing crazy. As a first-time visitor, I also feel like this probably wasn't the best dish to order if you want to get a full sense of what the restaurant has to offer. One of my biggest disappointments was that the restaurant primarily had outdoor seating. Maybe it was just the night we went, but it was extremely hot and humid, and the fans in our area weren't cutting it. It was also very dark, making it difficult to see the menus and even our food. I think better lighting, especially toward the front of the restaurant, would make a big difference. The food came out very quickly, which we appreciated. I do wish our server had been a little more helpful, though. We wanted to learn more about the menu and were hoping for some guidance and recommendations, but he didn't really guide us through the menu the way I had hoped. Overall, Mandolin was a solid experience, and the Ali Nazik in particular was a standout. I'd be interested in coming back and trying some of their other dishes to get a better feel for what the restaurant does best.

It's casual yet tasteful, lively without feeling pretentious, which is always refreshing in a city like Miami. Our waiter, George, was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and spot-on with his recommendations. Service was seamless, dishes came out fairly quickly, and the cocktails were great. I also appreciated how Doya proudly displays its accolades, from Michelin Guide recognition to its various restaurant awards. Clearly, this place has made a name for itself, and understandably so. Now, onto the food. Overall, everything was solid, though nothing necessarily blew me away. The octopus was excellent, the tomato salad was fresh, and the prawns were beautifully grilled with great flavor. We also ordered The Fisherman, a cazuela-style seafood dish with a flavorful sauce and a nice variety of seafood. The chicken wings, however, were surprisingly tiny. So tiny that I genuinely questioned whether they were actual chicken wings! As for sides, the options are somewhat limited. We ordered the fries, which were good and generously portioned for sharing, but otherwise, you're mostly looking at salads or dips to round out your meal. My least favorite dish was dessert. George recommended the aegean tart, mentioning it was a popular choice, but unfortunately, it missed the mark for me. The pistachio flavor was a bit too heavy, and the tart itself was on the dry side. What really makes Doya stand out, though, is the experience. There was a DJ spinning at the bar, the music was fantastic, and the entire restaurant had this effortlessly cool, welcoming energy. It's the kind of place where you can settle in, enjoy good food and drinks, and genuinely have a great evening without all the unnecessary fuss. Another plus, The pricing was surprisingly reasonable, especially for a popular Wynwood restaurant. It doesn't feel like you're paying inflated prices simply because a place has a scene. Would I return? Absolutely. While the food wasn't necessarily unforgettable across the board, the combination of atmosphere, hospitality, good drinks, and fair pricing makes Doya a place I'd happily revisit and recommend.
