Lots of chickens here!

You won't find a better deal for the reasonable rates! We needed a three bedroom place for our winter trip, and this checked all the boxes. We loved the kitchenette, storage, eating and lounging areas, and the closet with items for the beach. It was really roomy and much bigger than what you are likely to find elsewhere on Maui. Perhaps the biggest selling point was the washer and dryer, since the four of us were able to knock out our laundry several times during our week and a half stay. The partial ocean view was really lovely, and it was easy to walk to the main road from the stairs to get to the beach and local businesses. It was easy to get to plenty of stores by foot, and we really enjoyed finding places for breakfast on our morning walks. The furnishings aren't luxurious, but everything was in good working order. There was plenty of parking for each section, so we had no difficulty finding a space right by our unit no matter when we were returning from excursions. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. There were a few things that were a bit disruptive, but none of them were the hotel's fault. Most of our stay was quiet. However, during the last two days someone checked in to the unit beneath us with what I could only assume was a herd of elephants learning parkour. (The next morning, I saw the two children looking out from the balcony screaming at 6 AM. The mother looked at me and shrugged saying, "It's their first time in Hawaii." And...???!) The walls were literally shaking all the way to the third level as they ran around, so don't assume an upper-level room will result in more quiet. My mom was also not really excited about her "rooster alarm clock," but a noise machine app on my phone was enough for me to sleep. Despite our best efforts to keep everything clean and empty the trash regularly, the kitchen was overrun by ghost ants. However, you'll get ants and bugs pretty much everywhere in Hawaii, since they also thrive with the warm weather. The employees were all wonderful. We really appreciated the information they provided throughout our stay. We even received a lovely fruit basket to enjoy during the trip. Overall, we were happy with our stay here. I would definitely come back if I was looking for a place for a group and needed multiple rooms.

We had a fabulous time we picked this place not knowing how wonderful it was going to be. It was a two bedroom suite overlooking the ocean. The pool was fabulous. The owner of the property is on site and takes care of everything We got to meet him talk with him it is wonderfully well kept property And I absolutely 100% recommend choosing to stay here ... it is a timeshare property, but you can rent it per night, and it actually is reasonably rated

what's not to like here. A wonderful resort operated by wondefful ppl. Dennis Costas and Nacy Benson made it happen for us. A month in paradise for us. So relaxing in a beautiful areas and reasonably priced. They are ver accommodating. My husband is handicapped in a w/c. Maui Hill provided ramps so he was safe and a shower chair. There are safety bars in the bathroom too. We rented a ramp for our Hertz truck to put his motorized Gogo Pride in from Gammies n they delivered it. Our Alaskan Air flight was great too. He could drive hiss Gogo to the plane. They have a small w/c in the isle to transpory him. All very helpful. The pool at Maui Hill is very nuce, a get acquainted party on Monday eve across the road n private up on a bluff with ocean views.. TS too or rent. A putting green, tennis n shuffleboard, towels for pool, handy person to help with reservations. An established place with beautiful grounds, AC nit too far from airport n away fom crowds. Love it here. Thank you Dennis n Nancy from the bottom of our hearts. The big fruit basket was nice too. Great Aloha hospitality. Home away feom home. I will always stay here with my family. Large rooms, 2 br, 2 bath with full kitchen n outside BBQ. Plenty of parking n crew tlo help. just a super place TV in every room. just great, thx again. (sorry i cant correct errs)

First off, I'm impressed by the extra mile the Aston resorts go to take care of their guests. So, on Oct 2 there was a significant brush fire- closing off Honoapiilani Hwy right as we landed at the Kahului airport. At almost every point (gate, rental agency, Costco) we were told that we had no chance of getting to Lahaina. And where did we make reservations? At the Aston Papakea in Lahaina! So, we called the Aston Papakea resort to see whether they could transfer our reservations, to a sister resort-for one night or as long as needed due to the circumstances. We were told to come to the Aston Maui Hill as they had available Condos and it would be free-of-charge as we had reservations for another Aston resort. We were one of the lucky ones as our trip wasn't hugely affected by the brush fire and my little ones were in bed by 9pm. The next day, I found out that many tourists were not as lucky as we were and some were stuck on the highway till past midnight. We understand that things happen that can affect everyone's plans: locals and tourist. And no resort or hotel is obliged to save their guests' visits as they and their employees are affected just as much. But I am very impressed by the Aston resorts and their efforts to house stranded guests. The condo we stayed at was comfortable with all the needed facilities. Also, I love how the condos have a washer and dryer combo. You definitely need it when in Hawaii. Aston Maui Hill, mahalo nui loa!

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED, the Aston Maui Hill. It was our first time to be in Maui. We loved the place just as soon as we entered the facility. The grounds are immaculate!!! The rooms are large and spacious. They have everything you need. The queen bed was firm but comfortable. Our room was very nice and clean. It is located just on the outskirts of Wailea. It's located in Kihei but just by a few blocks. Across the street is a beautiful beach that we just loved to go to and walk. Very close to the Kihei restaurants. Within walking distance. There is a Safeway not to far away from the hotel, if you need some groceries. We found it to be the perfect location for us.

Can't beat the view from the Lanai!

Aston Maui Hill is amazing! Dennis and his staff went above and beyond, especially after our party ran into a bit of an issue. Their assistance was priceless! The condos are located right off the main road in Kihei but not too close that you can hear the traffic. Only four units to a building so you don't feel packed in. Each one (we rented three separate units) was clean, well stock kitchen, comfortable for a family to spread out and had a good size lanai to enjoy the beautiful views and sunsets. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept with a swimming pool, tennis courts and community BBQs. Can not recommend this place enough!

Complete disrespect for my personal items.

We loved the space and the location. It was perfect!!! The staff and service was disappointing. The house keepers came in for their mid-week cleaning. It's not clear what they do except emptying waste baskets. They made the bed but didn't change the sheets and they folded damp used bath towels. This issue I had is what they did to my pajamas that were left on the bed (see photo). They threw them across the room and left them dangling from a nightstand lamp. That and the infestation of ants and cock roaches (see photo) is what earned it three stars. When we checked out, the woman at the counter pulled out our ticket, looked at it, then looked up at us and simply said, you're good and went about her business. Not a, hey how was your stay or a, glad you came, we'll see you next time. Not even a thank you...NOTHING!

In comparison to some other brands such as Aman, Four Seasons Maui felt below average given its price point. The resort itself felt small and a bit old. The service felt very below average and inconsistent. One employee would tell you the sun umbrellas at the pools near the bushes are not adjustable while literally 2 mins later another employee came and adjusted the sun umbrella next to me and also mine when I asked. When we went to the adult pool we were told by one employee that we needed to be on a waitlist. After 3 hours when we finally got notified that it was our turn and went back we noticed other guests just literally went and grabbed empty benches and staffs were just setting the benches up for them(no, they didn't even know there was a waitlist)... Our canoe experience at the last day of our stay got canceled due to high wind and the concierge never notified us etc. Many employees gave me the vibe that they don't really care. They just gave me fake smiles and robotic responses. Maybe Amond would take better care of us...if he is still alive... The view was very amazing. We even spotted whales many times.

Roomy, spacious, on the top floor. Full ocean view, amazing sunsets. The works. This is the best Maui can offer. Spectacular. And I could go on and on with superlatives until I run out. Service was exceptional. Well, people in Hawaii suffer from what they call "Aloha Spirit", which probably means they are always happy and smiling. Surprisingly, it's easy to adapt to this spirit. But at Fairmont Kea Lani, they took it up a notch. All staff, from the breakfast maître d' to the last of the chamber maids, from the reception attendants to the concierge desk - all were courteous, helpful, listening. I am going to stop now before someone tells me that I'm overflowing with praise. Bottom line, this week was the best hotel week we ever experienced. And we have plenty of great hotel experiences to compare to. Fairmont Kea Lani is by far the best.

Although the only other resorts I actually stayed at were Andaz and Wailea Beach Resort Marriott. Reason being that rooms are exceptional (all suites) and I highly recommend upgrading to ocean view if possible. They have prime real estate directly facing the sunset, making each night so memorable. For amenities, pools are more spread out and does not feel as claustrophobic compared to Four Seasons in my opinion. I'd choose Fairmont again for our next trip. Special shout out to the housekeeper going above and beyond who shapes our lei into a heart each time they tidy our place. This person deserves a raise/promotion. Barry the manager at the hotel breakfast buffet also feels like family; just so warm and friendly. Also deserves a raise or promotion.

My lady and I came here 25 years ago to celebrate our beginnings and returned to appreciate our quarter century with the 'Aloha Spirit'. In preparations for our festivities Sheree in Guest Services graciously cared for us - she is an extraordinary gift to visitors. Every moment on property continued the appreciation, Angel and Nilma's thoughtful care at the front desk, to the wait staff's attentiveness - Toby, Brant, Olivia, P.T.... at the Lehua Lounge and poolside and especially Braden at Morimoto. In addition to the magical ambience, you are treated like royalty. Complimentary snacks in the room are replenished daily, citrus infused water refills everywhere, Hawaii ice cream treats offered poolside, sunscreen dispensers at every pool. When you are looking for a chaise, they immediate put a chair cover on for you and bring multiple towels.... The culture of care (Hoʻokipa) begins with the Hawaiian culture and the exceptionally personable GM Richard Elliot along with Kodi a beverage manager with his "Andaz style" (personal service). Beautiful memories were created from dawn's light peeking into the grand Lawai'a Lounge to, chaises by the four descending pools, to complementary beach adventures - snorkeling, kayaking... to sunsets from our beloved poolside upper terrace table. There is an adults only pool in front of the spa, but it's not consistently heated and no ocean views. Free mineral sunblock at every towel station (SPF 30 and 50). We came after a big storm, and none of the water activities were available due to County brown water advisory. The rest of the resort fee activities were a nice add-on (e.g. smores at sunset, ukulele lessons, bingo, photography session). Cocktails were not great. Stick to the beer and wine. Breakfast buffet was good enough, but inconsistent and nothing exciting. Veggie fried rice was really good the first day, but lacked flavor the next day. Longans were a nice touch, but wasn't available every day (and no other specialty fruit replacement out of the ordinary selection). Ohana room (transition lounge) is available if you have a later flight and want to stay on property after checkout time of 11AM. Clean and has all the amenities needed to freshen up before a late flight. Includes a bathing suit spinner to dry it out for packing. All in all, they have everything you need for a Maui vacay.
