I ordered one skewer beef kabob MR and it was M with no flavor - everything was bland, came with one skewer of veggie kabob, small salad and rice pilaf for $22. I couldn't finish because it had no flavor. Our family of 5. We had three gyros and one lamb burger. The sauce with the burger was too thick. COVID seating: it was a busy long weekend. Nice restaurant facility, high ceiling, clean inside. Nice staff, Service was accommodating. Seated earlier in the evening so restaurant was mostly empty. Outdoor seating was available but not socially distant so opted for indoor seating at a corner round booth. By the time we were eating and finished, the restaurant was packed, every table was occupied. I know restaurants are suffering but there was no social distance between tables. COVID Review: tonight I went to Estia with my best friend after having dinner in Falmouth. We went with the intention of having a drink or two and not eating. Considering everything that's going on, the Massachusetts board of health is mandating that food be purchased with alcohol. As a result, the bartender told us we needed to order an app or something with our drink order. Which ordinarily would have been fine. Except for the fact he never came back. It was 30 minutes and he still never showed up. We tried to get the attention of other servers to have them help us, and we couldn't get them either. We ended up dropping cash on the table for how much we thought would be enough for the drinks and left. If this is the service at the bar (which should theoretically have the quickest service), not sure I'd be interested in eating in their dining room. read more

Sampler appetizer was good, special watermelon salad tasted good but overpriced. Veggie pita was as good as any street food pita but double the price. Combo kabob was disappointing. Flavor was good but the lamb kabob was tough and chewy. At $29 for two kabobs, a good cut of lamb is expected. Ordered it medium rare and came out over done. My son ordered the Moussaka and said it was just okay - he left half of it uneaten so I would believe his assessment. COVID review: I've wanted to try Estia for a while now, so I was very excited when colleagues chose this location for a business lunch. We ate on the patio, which was gorgeous, and our server was great - hence the 4 stars and not 3. After quarantine, it was nice just to get out! That said, I wasn't as impressed with the food, particularly for the price point. I had the lamb gyro, and while it was delicious and fairly sized, the fries were soggy both inside the wrap and on the side. It was also $17, and the price felt steep for what I received in return. My coworker ordered a MR burger which was served closer to MW, and also in the same price range as my gyro. I feel I could've had a better meal for the same price elsewhere on Main St. To be fair, my experience happened shortly after restaurants were able to reopen, so the food situation may not be the norm. I would go back to give another chance for cocktails and an app or two, but I would hesitate before spending my money on a full meal. read more

Great location, but can't say the same for the food, sadly. I am Greek, cook Greek food and have spent many summers in Greece, so I feel that I speak with a decent amount of authority on the cuisine. Came here for lunch. First of all, the food took at least half an hour to arrive, despite there only being three other tables. We ordered three dips - tzatziki, melitzanosalata and spicy feta. The melitzanosalata was baby-food color and consistency and had absolutely no flavor. The tzatziki was nothing special and personally, I believe mint has no business there. I don't even remember the spicy feta. The Greek salad might explain what took so long - a tower of elaborately stacked sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, undressed, with two big slabs of feta cheese and a few olives. It looked like a centerpiece, but that is all I can say for it. I didn't even know it was possible to mess up a Greek salad. The spanakopita was bland. The shrimp skewers were bland. Everything needed salt and flavor. Insanely overpriced, mediocre food. Won't be returning. And that was decided before reading about the poor, confined octopus. The owner's explanation about the "team of three of the country's leading experts in cephalopod care" that was hired to build its cage is truly masters level B.S., and I do hope the poor thing is no longer confined. read more

Service was glacially slow, had to find our server several times because she was also the barback. Bread brought to our table was about a 2 inch square sliced into 3 sections for FOUR people. It was only 6:15 pm and they were already out of the moussaka. Ordered the Pastitsio for $31 which was lots of macaroni with meat sauce (and I mean mostly macaroni) with a bechamel on top. Like the American Chop Suey Mom used to make for a cheap meal. IT was very uninspired and overpriced. Two of our party of four did not get their drink orders and once again we had to chase down the server. We were seated in the bar area where the live music was deafening, had to shout to each other pretty much. They were crowded that particular night but SHOULD not seat parties if they are short of staff. All in all very unpleasant experience. read more

The place has a parking lot so if you need handicap access and easy parking this is the place. There is one step in the back entrance and they really should put a small ramp to make it easier on the elderly. Today's lunch wasn't great. I had tenderloin on pita, which was barely warm, the pita was very thick and broke apart. My moms beet salad looked great though We were also served day old bread which was a bummer because their bread is amazing. Service was good But there was a younger foreign pony tailed shorter server who was so loud in the open kitchen. Overpriced. Gyro. Not flavorful & since I'm Greek heritage - I really really know what a gyro tastes Like. The pork in the wrap was dried out & so crisp -thought I might break a tooth. Lemon potatoes hard & not much of a hint of lemon. I appreciate this is a restaurant & not my own kitchen. But the bill for one plus tip tip was just about 25 bucks. I say 'no way!' The food here is very good, but the service is terrible. Our party of five sat down at 6:15 on a Sunday night when it was not busy. Water and bread were brought to the table and then no one came to the table for over 20 minutes to even acknowledge us. I asked on of the staff if he knew who are waiter/waitress is and he said "I can figure that out for you" and then we never saw him again. I think he may be the son of the owner. I checked in with the hostess and she did nothing. Finally I waved over a woman who clearly looked like the manager and she basically handled our table for the rest of the night and was attentive, however we did have to wait a while and ask again for our check. It is a beautiful restaurant and the food is delicious. Just be prepared for poor service. read more

Very nice space, we got a drink at the bar and sat in some big leather chairs while we waited. good vibe to the place. we got our table after 15 min, a nice surprise, and sat at booth. server brought bread and water right away. so far so good. Good thing we had drinks from the bar as our waitress didn't show up for 15 min. I ordered the grilled octopus for an app and my wife a small greek salad. the octopus is their signature app and it was cooked well, nice and tender, but the presentation was just a pile of octopus pieces. No sauce, no colors, just a pile of octopus. It was way too much for one person. My wife got a pizza for dinner, which she enjoyed. I got the rack of lamb, also a signature meal. While I asked for medium, it was very well done meaning overcooked badly. I couldn't eat them. The waitress never showed up again. The spinach rissoto which the lamb was on, was tasteless. When our waitress did return and I told her about the lamb, she took 30% off the price of the lamb. Nice space, mediocre service, and 2 highlighted menu items poorly presented and cooked wrong. This place knocks it out of the park. Hands down the best Greek food I have ever had. We had heard through word of mouth that it was very good so decided to take a drive for the afternoon and have lunch. We were greeted promptly and personably. We sat outside on the covered patio - very comfortable even on a hot day (as people were spaced out appropriately) and we had a lovely view of the quaint downtown Falmouth area. Very comfortable setting to enjoy our meal. First off, crusty bread and dipping oil super good - (always a good sign). We ordered the sampler plate as an appetizer and then a pizza & shish kebab. Flavoring and seasonings were sooo good - the food was cooked to perfection - the salad was cold and fresh. The dessert - Baklava - the best we've had and a generous portion. Our server was attentive - everything timed perfectly and he was even able to share some of the history of the area with us which was so much appreciated. High end feel without high end prices. Both the atmosphere & food are top notch and so is the service! The waiters/waitresses are very on top of things without making you feel rushed making the experience a very relaxed one. The Greek options are delicious, but they also have more bland options if you have a picky eater in the group. My boyfriend and I came in the other night while we were celebrating our anniversary on the Cape. Our server was Danka and she was such a delight. My boyfriend doesn't eat pork and she was very accommodating in finding out and confirming whether or not a few things on the menu had pork in it. Our food was so good! Well, let me just say that I haven't even left this place and HAD to leave a review! My brother and sister in law had eaten here last week and raved. Not one to be left out, I had to come check it out for myself. This is my first dining experience post Covid and it was an excellent experience all around! It's super warm today so I didn't want to eat outside. It's nice and cool with the AC and everything is IMMACULATE! We were welcomed and seated right away. Our server Denitsa was super helpful recommending dishes because we knew what we were getting for our main meal.
