We came here for lunch after kayaking nearby, the place is clean and quiet. Our server was very nice and attentive. We got an app 2 kids meals and 2 panini meals for about 60$ All the meals came out perfect ! The steak fries that came with my son's meal were delicious ! My husband and I got a salad as our side because some places don't have the best fries and we didn't want to risk it lol but they were very crispy and seasoned well. The waiter was busy as he was the only one at the time, He delivered our meals quickly and mentioned that the kitchen staff was able to get meals out quickly - however it wasn't cooked! The waiter did not come by during the meal to ask how everything was. So he only asked after we were finished with dinner. I mentioned the undercooked chicken and showed him. There was no acknowledgement from him or the kitchen. An apology would have been nice and I would have been satisfied, as the piccata dish was decent otherwise. Well. We just found our new gem of a restaurant in West Dennis! We were looking for a restaurant that delivered and had options for 3 people with very different tastes for dinner. First, this food is absolutely FRESH! The food arrived just 15 minutes after putting our order in. You won't get that from anywhere else! Each one of us raved over our meals all through dinner. We had diverse meals of Chicken Parmesan made from a chicken that came straight from the ffarm it was so fresh, a mediterranean meal with freshly made hummus, falafel, grape leaves and lots of fresh from the garden vegetables, and huge chicken traders and fries for our 7 year old. When Ardeo was a collection of five restaurants, I thought they were great. Now that we are down to one, I'm perpetually surprised at how bad it is; so much so that I'be gone back three times to make sure it's not me. Every time, the restaurant was ridiculously cold and somehow the staff don't know how to work the thermostat. I'm guessing they're not allowed or the heating system just doesn't work. The food is served extremely overcooked, which makes me wonder if it was simply reheated. And this last time, I happened to park out back and had to walk by the restaurant's service door to get to my car. It was such a mess out there, with old trash and cigarette butts all over the ground accompanied by crumbled cigarette packages, and I couldn't help but wonder about the state of the kitchen behind the door. I think I've had my last meal there; they definitely cannot provide the same quality the old Ardeo's was known for. We ordered a "power greens" salad that purportedly served 2-4. The description indicated it would be a combination of kale, arugula, and spinach with avocado and asparagus. We got a big plate of spinach only, with some avocado and asparagus spears under the heap. The dressing seemed to be oil. It was virtually tasteless. We had requested the add-on of lamb kabobs, and the salad arrived at our table with one kabob. We questioned why the add-on for a 2-4 person salad would be one little kabob, and the server did accommodate us and bring a second, which I quickly regretted. The lamb was hard as a rock, and virtually inedible. I struggled to cut it with a knife. The Mezza plate we ordered was very average, nothing seemed to be properly seasoned. Middle Eastern used to be something they did very well. Maybe they are focused on the catering side of the business now, and the restaurant is secondary. I don't know. I just know I can't give it one more shot - three bad meals over the past three years can't just be written off to a bad night. read more

Eggplant Parmesan and chicken piccata were the entrees, penne and a roasted sweet potatoes for the sides. A cape gem! I loved all the food from the pasta to the fresh brick oven pizza and the chicken dishes are marvelous. The space is of an odd shape and for a busy Saturday night we found it to be award standing in the aisles as we happily waited about 15-20 mins. We were almost on top of some other diners. It was a little uncomfortable till we sat down. Service was slammed and slow but very kind and apologetic of the long wait times between drinks, food and refills. I hate to nitpick servers especially with the atrocious staffing shortage on cape cod so I just wont but hopefully they can get more bodies in there to help because at peak efficiency I would expect it to be even better. Lively bar scene for those who like to watch the game and hang out with locals. Will definitely return. read more

Why this place didn't show up on a search of pizza or Italian is beyond me. Our waiter Michael said the restaurant was like if an Italian & Greek married this would be their child. Service was excellent and as others mentioned FAST. I shun gluten free pizza dough but had to choose it this dinner. It was excellent. Their caprese salad was so fresh and flavorful- wow. Tasted like chef said 'go pick 6 more tomatoes and some rosemary' before it was made. Tried a chicken special that was so tender and flavorful. This place has amazing Mediterranean food. Whether craving Greek or Italian, there is a dish that will please! Lots of great appetizers to take out for entertaining, including falafel or hummus. This was a spontaneous visit last night on a stormy Sunday evening. The restaurant was not crowded, and the restaurant was warm and cozy on this damp wet night. I had a half Greek salad which was so plentiful both my husband and I split it discarding the remaining after totally enjoying the salad. the fresh vegetables were chopped up nicely, including the pepperincini peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes and olives. The feta cheese was delicious and plentiful over the salad. The creamy oil based saa defininlad dressing complimented this dish beautifully. We then shared a lasagna, which was a side decision. the pasta was fresh, creamy sauce, light yet extremely filling. the meat was a mixture of sausage and bolognese. Judy was our server, attentive, professional and efficient. This place is well worth visiting. I will return for their egg plant dishes as I remember these dishes being stand outs years ago when the family had many of these restaurants on the cape. My wife and I have ordered three times from Ardeo in Dennis so far (we expect to go a lot more). During this COVID time it is great to have a place close by with excellent food and really helpful and friendly staff. We have had their Stuffed Grape leaves, Gorgonzola and Candied Walnut salad, Pesto and Grilled Vegetable Sandwich, Chicken Parm Sandwich, Encrusted Chicken Spanikopita, Eggplant Rollatini and their Meatballs and Pasta. It has all been fresh and very tasty. We used their curbside pickup and their delivery service. We have friends coming down on Saturday and we are looking forward to ordering from Ardeo's and eating 6 feet from our friends (looking forward to a vaccine). We highly recommend Ardeo's! read more

I was enjoying a work date with my girlfriend when we both realized how hungry we were. We looked up food and saw Ardeo was in the same plaza so we headed over. We were quickly greeted, and the man was kind and gave us big menus so we could see better to order to go. We ordered, paid for our food, and then walked back to the coffee shop we were working from to wait. After about 12 minutes I started walking over to grab our food and I was met by the same man walking our food over to us. We hadn't told him we would be there, but he just guessed. Not only that, but I had left my card! So he kindly returned that to me also. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. We will for sure come back. read more

Both my and my friend's orders were not very inspired, and not prepared to our liking. The service, however, is very good and servers lively, especially considering the amount of volume the restaurant was handling on the busy July weekend last summer we went for dinner. This restaurant use to be my absolute favorite Italian restaurant on the Cape. tonight I ordered my favorite shrimp dish with wine sauce sun dried tomatoes and olives. in addition I ordered and paid extra for the homemade pasta. the whole dish was dry no sauce no flavor and the homemade pasta was stuck together because no sauce. when I complained they offered to make me a new one the next one was riddled with at least of large cloves of garlic chopped in big hunks so any I couldn't pick it out of the dish. overpowering garlic! sorry I'll never return to this establishment it was awful! Just tried Ardeo's new location. We were fans of their South Yarmouth location for years until over expansion got the best of their brand. Unfortunately, we were not impressed today. It's all about the details, and the kitchen needs to step it up. The Caesar salad was too lightly dressed, and the croutons were not seasoned at all, just toast. Our fig/prosciutto pizza came without the promised balsamic drizzle. One of our last pieces of calamari, we found a small piece of steel wool. Asked for fresh pepper, no peppermill. We ordered a panini to-go for grandma who stayed home, only to find once home they never included the side. After dropping $125 plus a $25 tip, we won't be back anytime soon. I will say the waitress tried her best to make up for the flaws of the kitchen. And the interior was lively and family friendly with a busy bar area. They will pick and chose when to deliver with slice and say you are out their delivery zone , yet have been here before . Another Cape Cod restaurant that sucks and can't handle anything . Had high hopes for this place. I've been wanting to try it as I pass by several times a week. Finally had a chance and I ordered a meatball pizza And chicken tenders with "garlic sauce". I asked for well-done pizza, it was burnt on the bottom yet somehow soggy. The chicken tenders had nothing that resembled a sauce on them. Instead, in the bottom of the container were burnt pieces of something.....it was gross. In all, this was probably the worst meal I have had on Cape Cod ever. This place is great! Stumbled onto it after the beach and we loved everything that we ordered. The pizza is brick oven style and tastes so good. Especially the charred parts of the crust (disregard the reviews that say that the pizza is burnt lol). Panini and fries as well as the Greek salad were tasty. The steak fries are a unique deep-fried style that are better than the generic fries you typically get a restaurant. Service was good as well. Chefs and staff do not wear masks here. There's a reason this restaurant has relocated so many times throughout my childhood. It's a wonder they still find the means to keep kicking. It was a warm pandemic summer night and my family was having a hankering for chicken piccata. They have very standard taste when it comes to food. They like it good they like it hot they like it consistent. Ardeo's has always made a great chicken piccata. So my mother calls them up to place an order (because they probably can't afford an online ordering system like everybody else) That's fine. It's semi inconvenient but it's fine. I so kindly agree I'll go pick it up. Remember we are still in the ~height~ of the pandemic. They have a host stand outside to seat their outdoor guests and I say I'm here to pick up takeout. The host ushers me inside saying I will need to pay inside and can pick up my order there. I cautiously step inside, which at this point is a very nerve-racking thing to do for someone very intentionally ordering takeout because, pandemic. It is chaos inside. Five waiters and six kitchen staff all inside running about throwing together orders. Masks half on or not on at all. I'm immediately uncomfortable as I watch the chefs in the kitchen make all these meals with no masks on. It's as if they were living in their own bubble where chefs are immune to all viruses. Our meal isn't ready so I have to stand there for 20 additional minutes because they had a miscommunication about some bread, watching them have no concept of social distancing or mask wearing or customer service. It kind of scarred me for forever. I don't think I'll ever go back again. At least to this current iteration. Wonder where they'll relocate to next. Of course the meal leaked through the bag all over the car on my way home too. My family enjoyed the chicken piccata. read more

I've been to Ardeo several times. I've never paid and I never would. Also, I've had it catered at events, coincidentally. I've tried most of what is on the menu. It's just bad food. Here's why: 1) The salads almost always have at least one component that is spoiled. Twice I personally have seen slimy brown lettuce. 2) They serve odd sides with things. Who the hell wants pasta with a wrap? 3) At best, the food is bland. Usually it's got one or two aspects that turn bland to bad. 4) The people in the kitchen apparently don't or can't listen. They forget items, bring you the wrong thing, etc. I would take a gas station sandwich that I paid for over free Ardeo. And seriously--I am not a food snob. I love pizza, burgers, etc. from just about anywhere, but I just think there's a reason that this restaurant has opened and closed so many locations. read more

My wife and I had lunch here today. Mid week around 2pm. Only one waitress working serving around 6 tables and she was awesome! Food was awesome too! Started with honey BBQ wings that were crispy and delicious. Then we had a cheese pizza that was crispy and the sauce and cheese were also right on.
