IMHO absolutely the worst place to eat! Tried Mr. Joey's "highly" praised food 3 times and each time was worse than before. "Veal" parm was as thin as bologna, tasted like shoe leather and the breading fell off all of the mystery meat because it couldn't stand to be associated with such crap!! Hubby had waited for his fresh, hot pizza too long. When it was finally served it was lukewarm and not what he ordered!! I personally know of two pwople who worked there that left because Joey, the darling that he is, was not paying them on a weekly basis. When one of them finally got a check from him it bounced!! 1st time trying this establishment. Got Door Dash delivery. Our driver had to wait an extra 15 minutes for our order once he arrived at Paradise, but it was worth the wait. We ordered the Mozzarella sticks, Baked Ziti, two Meatballs side orders, and a Gluten Free "The Bahamas" pizza (no cheese.) The Meatballs were excellent and the sauce scrumptious. There was a lot of Baked Ziti, so 1/2 was saved for another day. The Mozzarella sticks were very good (6 came with order, but one was eaten before I could get a picture!) The Gluten Free pizza crust was delicious, but (due to the garlic & oil) could have been cooked a bit more in the center (next time I know to order it "well done.") Ingredients on pizza were scrumptious but I expected the fresh tomatoes to be sliced, not whole chunks on the pizza. It was a bit much. LOVED the amount of garlic used!! Chef after my own heart! We ordered from here on the later side of dinner during our recent stay in CC. I am from and live in NY so allow me to educate you all on what real pizza is. This ain't it. If all of the reviews on here that this is "the best pizza" in the area are accurate, I feel bad for you all lmao. Having said all of that savage shit, it's not terrible! But very aggressively just ok. I have definitely had much worse in the Bay State. I will say that I appreciate the multiple size options on their pizzas. Sometimes you need a little less but most of the time you need a little more. Tons of topping options too if you are in a creative mood. I also ordered their garlic knots which were enjoyable but the garlic and seasoning to bread ratio was way off. Way too much unflavored dough but it did make me feel more comfortable eating it the following morning when I remembered I forgot to put it in the fridge. I was pretty much just eating bread and no GI distress to speak of. I also ordered their pasta and sauce for some noodle action. The sauce was without a doubt pizza sauce and the penne should have been more al dente but something about it was excellent to me. I couldn't stop eating it. Got a to-go order from Paradise a few weeks ago because we live close by. Service: I was so impressed by the high school/ college kids they had working there. They were polite, multitasking and really good at keeping everything moving. Well done! Food: It's too bad the food didn't live up the service standard. The pizza wasn't anything special and when we opened the box the kids said "no" right away. I'd give it a 6/10 but maybe just get a cheese pizza down the street at The Sandbar... We got a chicken Caesar salad and I can honestly say it was the worst chicken I have ever been served at a restaurant. It was as if it was cooked a week ago, left out to dry and then reheated and put on a salad. I was stunned that someone thought it was acceptable to put it on a salad that someone was paying money for. It didn't look good, tasted worse. Chicken Caesar salad is a pretty easy menu item but this was awful. We also got the chicken broccoli penne. Chicken was again pretty weird. Chewy in parts like it wasn't trimmed or cut with care. The Alfredo had no salt and was very bland. More of a generic "white sauce" than an Alfredo. Overall I was just super disappointed in the food, and if I am being honest, the restaurant itself didn't make me want to come back. Wow. I've never had a pizza this terrible before. First of all, it was cold. I came in at the time quoted (15 minutes) and the pizza was somehow already room temperature. It's like they don't even put it somewhere to keep it warm. When I got home, I tried a slice, and couldn't even finish it. We recently tried this place again after unofficially boycotting it for a number of reasons. I will never go back there! I ordered a Veal Parm dinner...touted as one of their specialties and a customer favorite. It was absolutely disgusting. First of all the veal was neither a patty nor a chop nor a boneless piece of meat. It was paper thin, rubbery and the breading didn't adhere to it. So, basically it was a useless piece of old shoe leather pretending to be in a Parmesan suit!! I was going to call Joey (the owner) and complain but I didn't. Why? Because I wasn't going to give him another chance to feed me garbage. My hubbys pizza was "edible " but he's definitely had better elsewhere. This place needs to be shut down, sold to someone who cares enough to make it a place people can gather for a bite to eat without fear of losing their cookies! I also found out from a former employee there that they hadn't been paid every week. In fact Joey owed them almost 2 months pay! When he did give them a check it didn't clear the bank because there was no money in his account to cover the check! What a jerk! Friends, do yourself a huge favor and eat at another place. Gluten free vegetarians beware. I ordered my wife (who has celiac) a GF "Key West" vegetarian pizza. It shows up with BREADED eggplant on it. So I call back to get it sorted out, and the owner/shift manager tells me that the I should have known that the eggplant was breaded and that his cooks don't know which ingredients they should not be putting on a gluten free pizza. For the record, no where on the menu for the GF vegetarian pizza does it mention that the eggplant is breaded. I kindly point you to the screen shot of the menu. In fairness, the manager did offer to re-make the pizza, but only after telling me that it wasn't his fault and that he was doing me a favor. I wanted to rate this place 5 stars but there is no way I can do that with the food I got! I know they redid the inside and that is nice and where my accolades stop. I ordered take out some wings and pizza. First red flag was an empty parking lot! Got my food and when I got into my car there was a "seafood/ fish" smell? I think that there may have been some shellfish liquid that spilled on the wings container? Anyway, speaking of the wings, severely overcooked and very crunchy. Food is great, service isn't at all. One cook, one sub maker, one cashier and one delivery person. Cashier misplaced orders causing a massive unnecessary back up with orders. Owner belittled staff in front of his customers adding to the cashier's already noted anxiety saying, "relax and don't panic- it's not like these guys are going anywhere, it's raining outside," then proceeded to exclaim to another customer, "she's easily frazzled but she's trying." When we arrived at our vacation Condo, we had a coupon for this place. So we decided to give it a try. We placed our order with a rather rude man and decided it would be quicker to pick it up. When we arrived, he charged us $5 more for the pizza than what was on the menu at our Condo. I let that go. But when we go back and opened the boxes, the garlic knots were chewy and not fresh. The "free" small pizza from our coupon was burnt. The Hawaiian pizza was edible but not great. Extremely disappointing. I would pick another place. We placed the order online about 5:00....they said pickup at about 6-6:10pm...little concerned for the long lead time, but it's the Cape in the summer. Anyway, I arrived at 6:10 and the place was EMPTY. No sit down customer whatsoever. They counter girl politely said the Meatballs and Chicken Finger were not ready...so thus began my wait. At 6:50 (40 minutes after arriving into this empty restaurant...they brought out my salads, and 3 meatballs and 6 chicken fingers (less the sweet and sour dipping sauce, which I discovered when I when home. The food is a straight up 3 out of 10 and the service is a 1 out of 10. However, I need to put some blame on myself, since I had ordered from place 3 or 4 times previous and was treated the same way each time. Well, no more....this was the final straw! read more

Really upsetting... this is the second time I've eaten here while being down the cape and unfortunately after the second time I will not be going back... ate a whole large pizza to then realize the cheese shaker I was using the whole time had mold throughout the whole thing.... I went up to the counter to inform them that there was mold in the shaker and when I picked up the other ones on their counter they also contained mold. Owner claimed that "they must have just been left out over night" but that does not just happen over night.... We were offered other food/drinks but just wanted a refund and thankfully were refunded. I'm very sad about this review. Paradise Pizza has fabulous pizza!!! Their dinners don't shine quite as much unfortunately. I've gotten 4 dinners from them over the course of a week, and none of them have been great. The two today I waited for well over an hour for was the worst I've ever had. Needless to say, they were cold and not good! I was charged $42.01 for an order that I waited for well over an hour, and I didn't even get my free pizza!! where I work in Dennisport my whole order would have been free but not at Joey's. I have to say on Joey's behalf that it's hard for us to get help in the summer. There is no housing for our J1 students who are good and want to work. This used to be our favorite place for a dozen years but this year it has gone from the best pizza on the Cape to the absolute worst. There is no point in telling what is bad about the pizza because everything is. Soggy, doughy crust, mushy overcooked vegetables all pilled in a heap that looked like it was made by grade school cooking class. If you like to get screwed over and overcharged then this place is for you. We used Slice to order pasta , pizza , and a cannoli.They immediately called and said they just ran out of pasta. So we changed that to a steak and cheese grinder. The delivery comes to our house , with no cannoli . We called and they had charged us for the pasta , which was a 4 dollar more then the grinder and forgot the cannoli, which the person on the phone said "oh yeah it's sitting right here" , they said the owner would fix the price problems on our credit card and refund the difference. Something has changed. Ordered for take out a buffalo chicken salad and a steak wrap. The salad was a greens with buffalo chicken tenders on top. Salad dressing on such anywhere on planet Earth is blue cheese dressing... here they poured straight buffalo hot sauce over the whole thing. Impossible to eat and no way the chef was trained to make it. Wrap was flavorless. Plus side....? It was 105 degrees inside the shop. So I got a free sauna with the other clientele. We order from here all the time and never have had an issue. The male delivery driver should get a raise because until tonight, our food has arrived within 35 minutes EVERY time. I also tip the driver $5+ EVERY time...but tonight we spent $50 and our food didn't arrive for an hour and a half. I opened the bag to find the food stone cold and COVERED in Alfredo sauce. A great pizza place with classic comfort food ! Whether for the house or the beach, Paradise Pizza has been our go to pizza location for almost two decades. It has the best pizza in West Dennis and a great selection of grinders, salads, Italian dishes, ... etc. It does an active take out business, and the line may be deceiving. We usually find a table get a drink and watch sports while awaiting our meal. It sits next to a small market and across from a Post Office. So one can get a few chores in while waiting. We have had friends works here and speak well of the owner, the cleanliness of the kitchen, and the staff. This is a plus. I wish zero stars was an option. I've been a loyal customer for 10 years, Paradise Pizza used to be my favorite pizza place on the Cape. This pst year things have taken a turn for the worse. I ordered some grinders, they tell me my order will be done in 20 minutes. I show up after 20 min and they tell me that it'll be done momentarily. 45 minutes later they bring me my 4 cold cut grinders. I leave, get back to my house and realize they gave me the wrong order. I call them and they say to hold a minute, and I hear the miserable owner say to someone "some jerk took the wrong subs" , obviously I'm livid because they handed me the bag, how is that my fault, and how am I the jerk?! Long story short I go back and pick up my order, get home, and my sandwiches were made incorrectly. I've literally been ordering from here for 10+ years, it was my favorite pizza place, ordered from here religiously. This is the third order they messed up for me this year. I've lost faith in this establishment. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else. Their quality and customer service have fallen tremendously- not worth taking the chance on them.
