Using grapes shipped from CA and mixing with apples crown on site, this small batch operation is a delightful stop. Specifically, I want to shout out our wine guide who took us through several of their wines. She made our experience there memorable with her amazing personality, charm, and humor. The space is small but offers a variety of options to hang out and enjoy their wines and ciders - inside by the fireplace, outside on the screen porch, or outdoors on the patio. However, we went at the end of September, and the place was horribly overrun with wasps. They're literally everywhere. It made it hard to sit and want to enjoy your drink. My drink was absolutely delicious I will say. The pumpkins were slim pickings which was a little disappointing and there were next to no flowers to pick either. It wasn't a bad visit, but I would probably try other places prior to suggesting coming back here.

It is a family owned and operated business, and has been A family owned and operated farm from 1830. The Vineyard now follows organic principles with 11 different varieties of grapes. In 2012, the family went to Spain. Their grandmother suggested they open a vineyard and they took her counsel to heart. They cultivated hearty wines to begin; Concord, Catawba and Niagara varieties. As time went by, they expanded their selections. Today, they have a truly diverse collection of vines, from Tempranillo to Cabernet. The unique part of visiting this vineyard is the personal attention we get from the owners. Our group got to not only see each step of the production, but then got to bottle, cork and foil our own bottle. Afterwards, we got to see and sample not only the wine selections, but a wonderful selection of hors d'oeuvres. It was really, really a unique and memorable occasion.

I left with their '22 Cab Franc Rsrv (still laid down), '22 Red Hunt Country (dark, soft tannins, dark red fruit) and Special Reserve Brut. They have a nice gift area with wine related items. I brought home the Millbrook Hunt Country Red candle that has a pleasant mint aroma. I'm writing this review now because I opened their Special Reserve Brut on 5/16 w friends and was blown away by the mousse (tiny soft bubbles) that was an absolute delight! When I return this summer I will be bringing a few bottles home.

On the other hand this review is for the grounds and buildings. There are only 2 designated handicap parking spots, near the entrance. To use the restrooms you'll need to use stairs. The paths are paved with loose coarse gravel. Potentially a hazard for lower limb amputees and difficult for wheelchair users to navigate. Otherwise it's a pleasant venue

I love that they are made of everything except grape. I would suggest doing the whole tasting to get a taste of what you like. Our top favorites were blueberry, cranberry and rhubarb.
