Specialties
We are open Wed thru Sun noon to 5:00 . We are growing French American hybrid grapes. The varieties we grow are: reds - Frontenac, Petite Pearl, Whites - Cayuga, Itasca. We also make honey wine (mead), apple wine and blueberry wine. We also import vinifera grapes/juice (i.e. Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay), so we can offer wines from grapes that will not grow in our area.
For reds we have : Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Pearl, Le Tre Sorelle (red blend),Frontenac, Grande Fratello (red blend), a sweet red (Red Hen Red) and for whites we have Chardonnay, Seyval Blanc, Fantasma Bianco (Itasca white blend), Cayuga and a May wine, (a Riesling infused with Sweet Woodruff). We have two fruit wines Apple wine and Wicked Blue (a blueberry wine). We also produce a blush (NoHo Blush). Since we are bee keepers, we have Mead (honey wine). We typically produce more than 1500-1800 cases of wine per year.
The plan is to try to appeal to everyone's taste by offering the red grape wines that go from dry to sweet, white grape wines that go from dry to sweet. We have honey wine (Mead) , Apple and Blueberry wines. All these are now ready for tasting and for sale. We also have a blush (NoHo Blush).

Meet the Business Owner: Larry and Sue G.
Starting with a small plot of a land we hoped to one day have a farm that could provide for our family and community. Now sitting on sixty acres of land, we are continually expanding and improving what we can provide and grow. We currently feature an apple orchard of over 100 trees and about 10 different varieties of apples. We also have an apiary and bees located in a couple other locations in the Pioneer Valley. Added to the farm in 2004 our vineyard provides the grapes we use for our wines, in 2012 & 2013 the new blueberry plantings went in. We hope they will produce all the blueberries needed for our blueberry wine. To answer the question we are asked most often, no, we do not have red hens, nor do we sell eggs. We call ourselves Red Hen Farm after the children's story about the Little Red Hen, because like her, we did it ourselves. Each year we try to expand our farm and learn new and better ways to do things to provide you with the best product available.
