Beautiful vineyard in East Granby, CT. I went on Labor Day. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Indoors they also had a vendor selling build your own charcuterie boards. Simultaneously outside from 1pm to 7pm they had a small market about 5 vendors selling things like cookies, cake jars, dog treats, and other items. They also had a burger food truck. The service was good. It was busy. You had to go inside to purchase your drinks and bring them out yourself, there was no wait. I enjoyed the table outdoor as the weather was perfect in the low 70s. The winery is dog friendly and kid friendly. I had my dog with me as many others did too. There were kids playing and laying on picnic blankets while there parents relaxed. They also allow you to bring your own food. People had all types of snacks. The environment was relaxing and people seemed very social. I've been to few Connecticut wineries so far this one is my favorite.

I went with a group . We could bring potluck food into the venue. We were greeted by the owner and directed to go downstairs to order wine or wine slushies. The apple crisp slushie was yummy. Then I opened for a glass of white birch wine. The flavor profile was crisp and clean. The young people who he had working at the bar area were very nice and knew about the different wines. That was impressive. Our group had a fun time at the venue. It is a nice welcoming place.

We came here during Mother's Day weekend and there was an event going on; many vendors and a few food trucks. The building was lovely with a huge deck overlooking the vineyard. The second floor bar room was spacious and quiet; the first floor was jam packed. The land was pretty with all the grapevines; I don't think I've ever seen a vineyard in person. They had enough space for all the vendors and picnic tables; although they were all taken when we went. I tried their white wine, Sweet George Moscato, and it was delicious. From what I'm seeing, they hosts tons of events; a good way to bring people in. Parking lot was spacious too. There were over 30 varieties of wine to choose from. I look forward to going back and trying out more of their wines!

This was our first visit to Brignole Vineyards, while in the area hiking. For starters, the place is beautiful. The inside was spacious with two bars and plenty of seating both indoors and out. Everything seemed clean and well maintained. We approached the bar and were greeted by a young man who told us how to select wines off of a paper for flights. We mentioned that it was our first time and were pretty indecisive. To this, he said that all of our choices were in front of us on the list. At other vineyards, we had been told the differences between wines, as well as being given suggestions on what to try. Some even offer small samples to help ensure that we made the right decision. At Brignole, we rolled the dice. I'd say that half of my choices were decent, the rest were fairly muted in flavor and left no lasting impression. My wife fared slightly better, liking most of hers. None wowed us to the point of buying another glass or a bottle to take home. We brought snacks and purchased some things to split from a food truck in the parking lot. We had poutine, plus brussel sprout and feta egg rolls. They were both tasty, and due to an unforeseen wait, the owner was kind enough to surprise us with some spring rolls as well. Those were excellent. Super crispy, with a citrus dipping sauce. We brought some cards to play outside, but it was a bit windy. Inside there was a nice selection of games, so I snagged Parcheesi. The game had no dice and the half of the board was missing. All in all, the wine was decent, but not good enough to lure me into another 40 minute drive. If you are in the area, give it a try. At least the view is spectacular.

Brignole Vineyards is a craft winery and vineyard that opened in East Granby, Connecticut in June 2016. It was founded by Timothy Brignole. Although an attorney by trade, winemaking was a longtime hobby for Tim. Homemade winemaking has been in the Brignole family for several generations. Tim's father and grandfather did it and once he reached adulthood he began making wine as well. Eventually he had the idea to produce wine on a more professional level. With the help of his family, Tim began planting vines on just 4 acres of land in 2010. He educated himself more on winemaking and assembled a team of award-winning vintners which included winemaker Bob Thomas and assistant winemaker Lee Baldieri. When the winery opened to the public, they only offered 7 wines. Today the vineyard has grown to over 24 acres of vines and the menu consists of over 32 wines to choose from. My family and I recently visited Brignole Vineyard for the first time. It had been on our radar for a while and we had heard great things. The vineyards were beautiful and the main building on the estate property was very impressive. There was quite a crowd there on the day of our visit. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside. We opted to sit on a table on the outside deck area. My wife and I saw a lot of customers ordering the "Rosé Wine Flight", so we each decided to order one for ourselves. The flight consisted of "Watermelon Slushee", "Raspberry Lemonade Sangria", "Capri Sun Fruit Punch Spritz", and "Sweet Peach Strawberry Spritz". The Watermelon Slushee was our favorite! A pizza truck was also visiting that day, so we ordered a few delicious pies to pair up with our wine. Beautiful views, delicious wines, and excellent company. We hope to visit Brignole Vineyards again in the future!

Meh.. we came on a cloudy/rainy Saturday for lunch. The weather was a factor in our experience since it wasn't nice enough to sit outside and enjoy the environment. Inside, there was a birthday party, and it seemed most tables were occupied by attendees of the birthday guest, so it was very loud and kind of ruined the experience a bit. The wine was pretty good. They had a lobster food truck right outside, and that had some decent options for food, so that was nice.

I really enjoyed the moscato. I saw people brought their own food and ordered wine and just having a very good time. I didn't get to stay for the live music, which is unfortunate, but I think it is lovely that they have live music performances. It will be a beautiful place to visit during warmer days.

Perfect day it was to be at Brignole on a Sunday , to end October month. Sun was shining, it warm, sitting out on the deck area listening to Live music and just being around great company. Ohh can't forget the bees! They were around after the wine! lol But this was my first time and what a lovely place. You can hold events, bring your own food, snacks or purchase. Sunday they had the Cousins Main Lobster food Truck. A good size room indoor where they had a live band, they had a deck with lots of seating . The deck was covered which is nice incase if it started to rain and by the field there were picnic tables to also sit in . Many options for sure! It wasn't packed but definitely busy! People started to come in as we were r joying some Halloween Flight Sangrias! Those sangrias were fun and delicious. Fair price. It's definitely The way to go and have a variety. Also they had a schedule of fun activities they were holding for the week. I can imagine how beautiful it looks when flowers are blooming ! I must say I'd love to come again and enjoy more time at the vineyard and try some more delis drinks!

I love this family-owned winery. This winery is beautiful, the employees are friendly/ nice and the wine is tasty/delicious. You can bring your charcuterie boards and snacks and enjoy the stunning view and atmosphere with your friends or family. During the weekend they usually bring different food trucks that offer amazing food.

My husband, kiddo and I had a great time here last Sunday afternoon. We'll definitely be back - with friends and better prepared! We arrived around 430p and stayed til almost close (at 6p). My husband and I each did the tasting menu - notable it's a flight you carry on a paddle board to a seat of your choosing vs standard tastings where you hear about the different wines with palate cleansers in between. We chose to sit outside at the lower level picnic tables because we wanted space for our 3 year old to run around. Other seating options included indoor tables with live music (singer/keyboard) + board games and an outdoor patio seating which was a blend of comfort of chair/upper back support, music and outdoor vibes. We brought snacks for our kiddo and bug spray (recommended!) but purchased our wine flights (came with complimentary wine glasses), a charcuterie package and some crackers. Next time we'll plan to bring our own basics and supplement with what the vineyard sells and the food truck!

Spring flight: Strawberry lemonade slushie, lavender lemon spritz, prickly pear spritz, and passionfruit sangria.

First time at Brignole's Vineyards. Everyone working there were kind and helpful. We tried the spring flight which consisted of the strawberry lemonade slushie, lavender lemon spritz, prickly pear spritz, and passionfruit sangria. The passionfruit sangria was the crowd favorite, but all of the drinks were enjoyable. It was a bit chilly when we went, but they have ample outdoor seating for nice weather. They have two floors inside with plenty of room to accommodate large groups. It's a great spot for a celebration! They have some snacks to share for purchase (cheese plates/chips), but had a food truck outside as well. They are also dog friendly which is a huge bonus!

    Fall Flight ($25)

Today I went to Brignole Vineyards with friends to enjoy some wine and their specialty fall flight. When we got there on a Saturday afternoon there was ample parking, even though it was very busy. We were able to find seating outside for a group of 5 on the beautiful patio, and got drinks at the bar. We ordered a bottle of white wine (I forgot the name, but it was very good) and a couple of the Fall Flight specials. We all had a great experience on the beautiful grounds, and though we didn't play many people were enjoying board games inside and outside. I definitely recommend this vineyard for good wine in a scenic location.

Valentines weekend called for a trip down memory lane and to one of our favorite places, The Berkshires. Upon arrival our room was not ready so we looked for a wine bar/winery on Yelp. We were so thrilled to find Balderdash. They were pretty crowded since it was Valentine's Day, but we were able to grab a table in front of the live music. I ordered a wine flight (mostly from California vineyards) they don't grow any grapes here and my husband had a beer. What I also love about this place is that you can bring in your own food. I did see a bunch of couples sharing crackers and cheese. They had a cannoli cart pop up which was delicious! The live music was also great! I honestly didn't want to leave since we were having so much fun. I wish we lived closer we would be here all the time. If you get a chance, check out this winery and enjoy a glass and some music on me! Cheers

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, creating a friendly atmosphere the moment we walked in. The menu is extensive with something for everyone - great selection of apps, sandwiches, entrees, and pizza. They even have a pretty decent vegetarian selection. I went with the smoked brisket sandwich with fries, and it was perfection. The brisket was moist and zesty, piled high on a fresh roll that held up beautifully. My girlfriend's mac and cheese was equally delicious - creamy, rich, and clearly made with care. Their beer and cider collection is incredible, with plenty of options to choose from. The FestBier was my favorite. I also tried the Ominous Forecast, which was also very good. The space itself is impressive - a huge bar, ample seating throughout, and even a separate room for larger parties. Parking was a breeze with plenty of spots available. You can tell this is a place that takes pride in everything they do and genuinely appreciates their customers. We'll definitely be back!
