If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. This place is such a scam. First of all, I was just sitting at my apartment when I got a knock on the door and two men asked if I was interested in purchasing this discount card. I looked it over and after a lot of time and consideration I did end up buying it. I called the shop before buying it asking what the fine print was, and they said nothing, they just wanted to bring in business. The two men told me not even to bring my wallet, that it was absolutely free oil changes with this card which I paid $40 for. I went to use it a few days later and ended up paying $55 for the oil change, because of the synthetic oil my car uses and the oil drop fee. I wasn't happy, but dealt with it. Well on the back of this discount card, it says "verbal agreements are not honored", of course. It also has a purchase date and says "This certificate expires 24 months from date of purchase". My purchase date is 5/23/13. If my math is correct that means I should be able to use this card through 5/23/15. Well, last week I went to use this card, handed to the gentleman and he said "its expired". I said no, it isn't expired, it says right here 24 months and he didn't even give me the time of day. Told me to call this number to get a refund. Of course when I call that number, it's not even valid. So we call in and he says call Friday and talk to Pete. I call Friday, spoke to Pete and he says they do not honor them anymore and that it's basically my problem. I will NEVER use them for service and if they can scam so many people this way, they probably aren't a very honest shop that you should use either! Facebook and every media site I can find will hear about what scam artists these people are.
And I reported them to the BBB and now they are claiming that they never even serviced my vehicle. Also saying it's my problem that I was sold a bogus card when THEY HONORED IT when they DID service my vehicle. They hired this company to sell the cards, now it's their responsibility. PITSTOP got my money and they scammed me, they just used ronin marketing to help do it. They will see my in court with my receipt for their service. Like to see them deny it then. read more
