I had a great experience with Shred City from start to finish. Their office staff was incredibly…read moreresponsive, always returning emails quickly and making the scheduling process smooth and easy. On the day of service, the driver was friendly and professional, called 30 minutes before arriving to let me know he was on his way, and everything happened right on time as scheduled. I really appreciated the on-site shredding option--it was reassuring to be able to watch my documents being securely shredded via video in real time. It gave me peace of mind knowing everything was handled safely and transparently. Overall, the entire process was efficient, convenient, and stress-free. I'll definitely be working with them again in the future and highly recommend their services!

I was looking for a shredding service in the Bay Area, going back and forth between two companies…read moreand I finally settled on this one. I had all my questioned answered in a timely manner and they were patient as I was trying to schedule this around my dad's availability (we're on opposite sides of CA). Shred City ultimately had a better rate for what I wanted to get done so it was a no brainer. They sent me an email to confirm the service and were able to schedule us within a few days, which was even better. My dad is closing his business of 50 years and needed to shred the contents of 26 bankers boxes. The service was completed on 2/18. The driver showed up at my dad's store, shred the contents, left the empty boxes and that was it, a super smooth process! Then I was able to call, make the secure payment over the phone and I promptly received a receipt and Certificate of Destruction. It cost $208 to shred 26 bankers boxes which I thought was fair, especially since it was a mobile service where they came to us. We have more boxes to shred at my parent's house so when my dad is ready I will contact Shred City again to handle that service as well! Great job!

They are rude and discriminate to clients like LGBQ. They promoted the guy who seriously offended…read morethem, because he was the boss' son. Discriminate to Veterans, the boss will yell and scream at everyone and force PTSD meds to be changed. HR just sweeps it under the rug, even with several employees complaining. They find ways to not pay you, this is worse than any job has ever done before. They know they are breaking Federal laws and don't care. They nit pick on uniforms they provide. Except if your family, then it's whatever you want. I would have been in serious trouble if I played VR when I was supposed to work. Pictures wont upload for some reason.

We have been with MoCal for approximately 5 years. At the end of our maintenance contract and…read moremachine lease I was given an invoice for $2500.00 + tax (see attached). I have with other companies in the past did a machine buyout. Not my first time doing this. In all previous cases the buyout amounts have been below $1,000 dollars and has always been an odd amount. So right away I questioned the payoff amount. I called US BANK Equipment Leasing and asked them for the Fair Market Value (FMV) payoff amount. (In all my previous payoff experiences with other copy machine maintenance companies I have always done the payoff directly with the equipment leasing company, which was also a red flag). The representative told me my payoff amount is $963.88 and she also put me on hold to confirm this amount with the payoff department. This was the correct payoff amount and I paid over the phone and you can see my emailed receipt with correct amount. I told MoCal this was unethical and might be illegal as my equipment lease states I would pay FMV at the end of the lease. Why would they be charging me almost 3x the confirmed payoff amount...... I asked for a written response from the owner Tom Adrian. A week went by with no response. After a week someone from US BANK Equipment Lease called me because Tom Adrian wanted them to tell me they made a mistake. I told the representative two of their employees from two different departments confirmed the $963.88 was the true amount. She told me this amount was correct, but there is also other FMV amounts. I told her this was not my first time doing a buy out and was never given different amounts. She told me well, we also have an amount of 2,873.46. Then I asked her why would Tom Adrian charge me 2500.00 + tax.....? She did not know why they invoiced me that amount. I expressed to the US BANK representative I feel they were covering up the unethical behavior of MoCal. Even though I specifically requested a written response from Tom Adrian he tried to call me, which i did not take as I wanted a written response. email received 09/15/2020 below: Jacob, I am not going to get into an email discussion regarding the US Bank buyout. US Bank quoted you the incorrect buyout on your lease. The FMV buyout from US Bank should have been $2,873.46 + tax not including payments owed and maintenance owed. I received information from US Bank explaining their mistake and conversation with you and it is their loss and your gain. If you want to discuss this further, please call me. I will no longer discuss this via email. Thank you, Tom Adrian General Manager Below is my email response to the above email 09/16/2020 "US Bank quoted you the incorrect buyout on your lease.(from above MoCal email)" They did not give me the wrong buyout amount. The representative that called me told me that I was given a correct amount, but there can be other fair market values, so they claim. I let her know I have done multiple buyouts on machines and never was given or told there are different FMV amounts. She did not dispute this. We had a long discussion on the phone about why they thought there could be different FMV for the same machine. I asked her if she had ever heard of a payoff FMV that was and even number like 2500.00. She had not and did not know why I was billed 2,500.00 + tax. I also asked her where the original representative got the first amount? She said well that is also a FMV for that machine. Your statement of "it is their loss and your gain (from above MoCal email)" is a false statement. SO, THE AMOUNT WAS RIGHT. The first representative I spoke with even confirmed the payoff amount with the payoff department. I asked her, so what you are telling me is both employees from two different departments made the same error..... doubt it. She had no logical answer to how two employees came up with the same FMV payoff amount and she reiterated that $963.88 is also a FMV. This is dishonest and I told her they are trying to cover for MOCAL. "The FMV buyout from US Bank should have been $2,873.46 + tax not including payments owed and maintenance owed.(from above MoCal email)" The story even gets fishier when you consider you billed me 2500.00 + tax. Why did you charge me this amount if it was a larger balance? Its because after getting caught you and US Bank fabricated a new amount that would fit your narrative. Even when I asked the US Bank representative if I were to take your statement as being factual that the true amount is 2,873.46 + tax why was I billed 2500 + tax? She had no explanation. I have spoken to two different local copy machine maintenance companies and both state the FMV does not change confirming my previous buyout experiences.
