We requested their security services back in June for a wedding celebration for July and NOBODY showed up, we waited for the 2 guards that were supposed to be at hour party and we didn't even get a phone call telling us that no one was showing up. We went to their office to let them know nobody had shown up at our celebration and we got a very bad excuse saying that they had been very busy with the Phantom celebration that needed to be 24 hours, but our party was after that so called celebration. Worst security ever! I hired them for my wedding because they were the cheapest in town- major mistake! When I visited my venue the day before the wedding, the groundskeeper informed me that they always have problems with Maxx One. I wish I knew that before I paid them. The day of the wedding they sent a few old guys and one young guy as security. The one guy in the front made sure no one took alcohol outside the venue, but the other guys were MIA half the time and pretty much useless. You think they would tell the kids to stop running or keep them out of one of the private rooms, but nope. I'm lucky that the crowd we had (approx 400) was pretty tame. If anything bad happened, I'm confident that they would have NOT been able to handle it. read more

I hired this company to provide security at the Mistlin Gallery's first cabaret. At about the same time, we were told by the police department that we needed to have our own security in order to serve wine at the Third Thursday Artwalks that the gallery participates in. The Gallery is a non-profit organization and we were concerned about the cost of this. I spoke to Paul at MaxxOne and he offered to provide that to us as his way of contributing to the community. They do an excellent job. Knowing they are there if we need them is a comfort to us that we didn't used to have but at the same time they are non-obtrusive so our patrons don't feel like the presence of security is due to some risk in coming to our event. I've never used the security at this place but I've been here for the LiveScan service on multiple occasions. The lady at the counter is a sweetheart. She greets everyone who comes in and is very professional. She also gave me advice on passing a test I was applying to take. Rolling fee is $18. I wish I had known I could get $2 off for checking in, but now I know for next time! read more

Called in on Friday to see what the hours were so I could get my livescan done. Was told the offices were closed for the day and they would be open on Monday even though it was a holiday.... I go in today and the offices are closed.... so i call the business and they said they closed at 2:00 today. Well wouldn't that be information that should've been shared with the customer on friday??? It was a total inconvenience and a waste of fuel and time.
