In those…read more11+ years I have gone back to school to get my degree, changed careers, gotten laid off twice (once during 2020), found work again in less than two months, and always found something higher-paying and with a better commute every time, as if the layoffs were a hidden gift. I have also nearly tripled my salary since I first saw Amanda and am much more satisfied with my line of work.
