Professional and Reliable Property Management I have been…read moreworking with The Cal Agents since 2025 to manage my house rental in the Bay Area, and it has been a consistently positive experience. Key Highlights: 1. Exceptional Team: I've had the pleasure of working with Wilsen, Ahyeza, Chris, Patricia, Jana, Fiona, Nikki, and Ramiro. They are professional, attentive, and easy to collaborate with. 2. Problem Solvers: One of their greatest strengths is that they never shy away from a hard problem. Whether it's a maintenance issue or a tenant concern, they tackle it head-on with a level of responsiveness that is hard to find. 3. Trusted Partnership: When you are looking for a partner to manage an investment property, creating an empathetic and caring relationship with the tenants is the most important factor. They have proven themselves to be reliable stewards of my property. Pro-Tip for Owners: Because they manage a diverse portfolio of both condos and houses, I found that providing clear context on my specific expectations for house-level marketing and maintenance from the start created a great feedback loop. Their receptiveness to this high level of communication is exactly why our partnership works so well; it ensures everyone is aligned from day one. Overall: If you need a team that is responsive and capable of handling the complexities of the Bay Area rental market, I highly recommend The Cal Agents.

Nikea, then Christianna Beebout were completely useless. Wanted to rule the HOA rather than HOA telling them what they wanted. No good vendors. Too many properties even if they did have any common sense or desire to actually do anything. Don't walk, run away from this company. Pacifica Union is the parent company.

I initially toured the property with the current tenants, who were able to give me a good idea and feel of the neighborhood, property management and their overall experience. It seems like an odd idea, current tenants touring prospective tenants, but it's actually invigorating and you get a good sense of what you're getting yourself into. From the moment of leaving the property and being immediately contacted by the leasing manager via text, to the application process being processed expeditiously, to the lease signing....it has been seamless! The customer service is unmatched. Paying the deposit and rent online is quick and easy. This has been a great experience and I would definitely recommend this company to others.

I emailed back saying I was not comfortable uploading my ID onto a random website and I'd be happy to come into the office and show it in person to verify my identity. I was then ghosted. Edit: after posting my 1 star review (which was 3 days after the original emails), I was called immediately and told there is no office and no way to show my ID other than to upload a picture of it online. While the person I spoke with was nice, there was no solution. If you want to view one of their listings you have to put your private info online, unfortunately. I recently had my identity compromised and am extra careful now about what I put online. While I completely understand that management companies need to vet the people viewing their properties, not being able to have an in-person option makes me uncomfortable, personally.

It is with great sincerity and appreciation that I offer this review for Solano Property…read moreManagement. In an industry where consistency, transparency, and professionalism are often promised yet not always delivered, this organization stands as a refreshing exception. Their operational excellence is not merely superficial--it is deeply embedded in the way they conduct business, communicate with clients, and manage properties with precision and care. A significant part of this seamless experience can be attributed to Jim, who oversees operations with a level of competence and diligence that is both rare and commendable. His ability to orchestrate the many moving parts of property management--tenant relations, maintenance coordination, financial oversight, and compliance--demonstrates a refined understanding of the field. What distinguishes Jim is not only his technical proficiency but also his unwavering commitment to accountability and responsiveness. Every interaction reflects a high degree of professionalism, thoughtful consideration, and respect for both property owners and tenants alike. From a landlord's perspective, entrusting a property to a management company requires confidence in their ability to protect your investment while maximizing its potential. Solano Property Management delivers on this expectation with remarkable efficiency. Their processes are streamlined, their communication is clear and timely, and their attention to detail ensures that nothing is overlooked. For tenants, the experience is equally impressive--requests are handled promptly, concerns are addressed with urgency, and there is a genuine sense that the company values long-term relationships over short-term convenience. What I find particularly noteworthy is the organization's balance between structure and adaptability. They maintain strong systems and protocols, yet remain flexible enough to handle unique situations with sound judgment and professionalism. This is a testament to strong leadership, and Jim's influence in maintaining operational integrity is evident throughout. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Solano Property Management to anyone seeking a reliable, sophisticated, and results-driven property management partner. Whether you are looking to place your property on the rental market or searching for a well-managed residence, you can proceed with full confidence knowing that your interests will be handled with the utmost care and expertise.

CAUTIONARY OFFER…read more This isn't a complaint, but rather a cautionary tale for those who want to move forward in the application process. I found it to be a bit misleading, and not as straightforward as it seems. First, ensure that your income before the application date meets the 3.5 income requirement. Secondly, they request a deposit, which shouldn't be asked if the application is gearing towards a declined decision . Yes, the funds are refunded, but why ask for a deposit if you know the application will be rejected? Lastly, what's the purpose of processing applicants through the application or pre-approval process if you're aware of their circumstances beforehand? The application fee is $40.00 per applicant. Again, this is merely my personal experience. Since I am at peace with the fact that I will not be reconsidered in the future, I feel comfortable sharing this information with complete transparency.
