I had them replace an older Aiphone intercom with Unifi access and they came and installed a Unifi door reader, cleaned up my door strikes, installed a unifi in wall in a rental unit so we could pass through an additional POE port to a Unifi intercom and then came up with an idea to consolidate my networking gear in my garage so I changed scope after day 1 to include that and also setup a gate hub automation. I also had them do a new cat6 run and they did a great job with that as well as patching up the holes from older cables. Great communication - they know their networking and Unifi gear and I would recommend to others looking for ethernet/wireless/security cameras and expertise with Unifi gear.

I deducted a star since I felt the sales rep wasted our time (it was very difficult to try to politely end the video call with him) by trying to tell us that consumer-grade cameras weren't going to meet our needs and he tried to upsell us by showing an unrealistic simulation of how fuzzy the images would look compared to their systems he wanted us to buy. Brian wasn't able to get one of our pre-existing wired professional camera system to work, and he dropped communication and delayed appointments by months several times while this was all happening, but I appreciate that he didn't charge us for this, so I'm just adding this as an FYI.

I called and the woman who assisted me was upbeat and positive that they could fix my problem. I scheduled an appointment and Adam came out. Nice kid. Climbed in the attic and confirmed that the unit was good and needed a new switch. I decided to get a hard-wired switch and an appointment was scheduled. One thing I really liked was the communication through text messages. They also send you a photo of the technician that is responding to your house. I appreciated that and it makes good business sense. Issac and Freddie came out a few days later and completed the project. They were professional and the installation looked good. Isaac tested the switch and showed me how to use it. He had a tablet and processed my credit card through it. Easy peasy. Let's face it, electrical work is not cheap, but I felt it was a reasonable price especially considering my wife would stop reminding me that we needed to get it fixed before summer! After purchasing our first home, we wanted to make sure our family was safe. We weren't in a hurry, but had a couple of GSH Alarms sales reps come by a few times and would not take NO for an answer. That was when we realized we were going to have to do some research as we didn't want to feel pressured to purchase what we didn't want nor felt we needed and wanted to feel comfortable with a stranger coming into our home to install our equipment. I come from a small town and believe we need to support our local companies so we googled local home security companies. After speaking to the 3rd company, I was getting discouraged. I was calling one more that day and it happened to be Hoffman Electronic Systems. Already flustered from previous calls to others, it was nice to have someone seem to actually care about my needs... (that was a nice change) She gave me a bit of a breakdown about where they came from, how long they were in business and after asking me a few questions, the young lady assured me I would be contacted BY PHONE by one of their sales reps to see if a quote over the phone worked or I could have the option to set up an appointment (That part I loved) to have them come give recommendations and tell them what OUR needs were. You don't usually find that in a company...Needless to say, their sales team is amazing. I felt no pressure to just sign to get them out of my house and they reviewed all the paperwork with me and gave me different options (lease or buy). We appreciate people who will spend any amount of time making sure WE are satisfied, and not just closing the sale like most companies make you feel like. So far, our system has worked great! I am a particular person and have called them many times with questions or concerns and the staff is always super nice and helpful no matter what the issue. I think thats great. I will say, the response time when the alarm does go off, is crazy. They call me immediately...as I constantly forget it's armed when letting the dogs out at night.. ;) Sometimes you want to be in a hurry when wanting something done, but doing research is an amazing way to find exactly what you want. I'm glad I didn't give up that day and made that last call. It has proven to be an awesome decision. I give the staff at Hoffman Electronics a big thumbs up. As long as I'm living in Hoffman's service area I will remain loyal as they have been to my Family. From the first meeting with the sales rep(I wish I remembered her name) who never made me feel like a commission but a friend, I would've bought anything for the safety and security of my family But she wasnt there to sell, she was there to genuinely secure. The very few glitches I experienced were handled quickly with no questions asked and treated as if it was an emergency, from dead batteries to camera failure all was just as important as the other. read more

I would give non-star to this stupid company. A Mexican female named Jorge is the person who ruined this company's reputation. She is hella rude and disrespectful. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. And the way they tell you there will be a month free is bullshit. They charge every month, and what they would explain to you is the fee they charge on this month is for the next month. Basically there is no a month free. Don't believe it.
