Their staff (phone staff and on-site plumbers) are professional, communicate well and get the job done. I should call out though that you might be able to save a few $ if you went with an independent but that's kind of the case for most home repair/servicing companies. I've never used them for Electric and/or HVAC so I can't speak to that.

This company has changed. And not for the better…read more A week ago I called to schedule an appointment for a leaky faucet in my house. An AI voice answered the phone, asked me why I was calling, told me it was going to look up my account details, said it had a problem and that someone would contact me to follow up, and then hung up on me. A few hours later I got a text from "Cameron". I complained to "Cameron" about the experience I had from the AI phone answerer. "Cameron" apologize and told me that such an experience would frustrate him too...then "Cameron" decided to be transparent with me and tell me that he was in fact AI as well and "his" real name was "Carson". We went back and forth about 6 times to explain the problem I was having and to set up an appointment. Then "Cameron" told me that the time we worked out wasn't confirmed yet and that someone would be calling me to confirm the time. Thanks, "Cameron". This was Friday around 4:00PM. THE NEXT MORNING, a human being (I think) texted me from the same number to confirm the appointment. After I let them know how unhappy I was with the AI scheduling service, a human (I think) did call me and apologized for it. Then, on the day of the appointment, the technician arrived an hour and a half after the 12:00-16:00 window we had set up. I had to call them at 16:30 to ask if the technician was coming and they told me he would be there soon. When he did arrive, in the middle of me making dinner for my family, he told me that the faucet would need to be replaced and that it would be $750 (!!) in labor to fix it. Then I was charged $83 for his time (which I guess would be rolled into the service). So, in the end I still had a leaky faucet and I was out $83 with the option to pay $670 to replace a faucet (plus the cost of the faucet itself). For that price, I'm just going to do it myself. Then the spam texts started coming from "Cameron" asking about the estimate. I got one every day until I told it to stop texting me. This company used to be great but I'm going to be looking around the next time I need a plumber. Please ditch this stupid AI system. Please don't charge your customers if you're extremely late for your own four hour window - especially if the diagnosis takes five minutes and is "I can't fix it - replace the faucet".

She was very helpful and kind. I had the electrician (Aaron) come in and inspect. He did a very thorough inspection and found out what had tripped the breaker. He went above and beyond. Figured there were some mistakes done by a contractor that had just remodeled our kitchen and bathroom. The price quoted seemed reasonable for the job needed. The inspection/diagnostic was waived for first time customers.

I am a small business owner trying to open a new bar in South Seattle. DO NOT HIRE SW PLUMBING. I…read morehired South West Plumbing originally to do a main drain scope. I will be honest in that they did a good job locating the main drain and was very thorough. Because they gained my trust at first, I decided to inquire an estimate for a full plumbing build. This is new drains, new grease trap, install of equipment, and new pipes. It's a big project. I imagined it would be very expensive but they offered financing so it was doable in the long run for me. The company came to inspect the space to finalize an estimate for me. They told me I had to purchase all the equipment and have it on site on the day that they start the job. The first estimate was around $40k. And the idea was I would finance through Greensky and pay half down. Before I decided on anything, I specifically asked if they would include "installation" of all the equipment. They repeatedly said yes. Once we got the estimate, I went ahead and scheduled the work. This included me procurring all the equipment, ordering everything on time, and arriving on site. The one equipment that I was incredibly afraid of ordering was the grease trap. We sent over multiple text messages with a link to the model that the company suggested and each time, the person I was working with confirmed that was the correct model. When the day came, the plumber that they "sent" out did an overview with me before starting work and noticed a lot of huge oversight. He noticed that our space did not have proper venting but was told by the company that there was upon first inspection. He told me that I needed extra equipment to support some of the equipment I had already bought according to the plumbing plans (the original person who came in to look at the space did not ask to see the plans). He also told me that the grease trap I bought was INCORRECT and would not fit. I had spent $10k purchasing equipment for SW plumbing to do NOTHING. And so I called and canceled the whole job because now my $40k went up to $70k and it is just downright cruel. For a small bar at 700 sq ft, they wanted to charge me $70k, and tried to tell me that the install for the equipment is a $20k job. I complained. And their relations team reached out. They told me that they would purchase a new grease trap for me due to the miscommunication and they want to do right by me. Because I don't trust them, I did not accept it at first and told them I have to think about it. Turns out, I was right. I asked them if there were any obligations to this and they said no. I confirmed with them that the estimates were all cancelled, and they said yes. When time came to ask them about it, they then turned around and told me that they would only give me a free grease trap if I went with their services. I don't believe in writing scathing reviews for any business. I know we all gotta eat. But, this experience was so horrifiyng and I am left with a $900 grease trap that doesn't work for my space and SW Plumbing could care less if they made a wrong suggestion to a small business. They don't understand that they've just cost me so much more than just a piece of equipment. I do not recommend. Find your community and ask for local reputable people. These big box companies are out to gauge you and twist their words.

Kitsap Septic - Our tank lids. With no evidence of the work that went on!

Stopping the blaring was not easy (because the malfunctioning alarm off switch, a mislabeled electrical panel, and more. Anyway, in the morning hubby called the septic company that most recently pumped our tank two years ago and was told about the diagnosis service charge and that they'd probably need a $600 pumping before they could work. And if they diagnose electrical (like pump or the alarm box), they need to call the electricians who'd have another service charge... in the meantime, I searched online and saw the rave reviews for Kitsap Septic. So, I called and was told it sounded like electrical issues (pump, floats, and the alarm box) and that it's doubtful our tank needs pumping! I was told to call Aquarius pump and they'll prob use a sump pump and then take care of things quickly, correctly, and at a reasonable price. (And if the tank does need pumping, they'll call him.) It all went exactly as expected. Aquarius Pump came e as to the next morning and got it working enough to use the plumbing, but said to fix it properly, he'd need to return to replace the pump and alarm box. In another couple of days, it was just a memory. Except we now have a fantastically honest and highly regarded Septic service who I feel about recommending!!!

I've been lax in checking and clearing the filter and now we've literally paid for it. It isn't cheap to pump the tank but that's what the guys had to do. But let's go back in time to earlier this morning. When I called the office to set up the service I talked to Darren who was extremely friendly and was clearly dedicated to providing excellent customer service. He was hopeful his guys could show up today, which is exactly what they did. A two-man team, headed by Ross, arrived not quite two hours later. Ross is a jovial guy who laughs freely and shares his good spirits with you. I immediately liked him. He and his partner made quick work of pumping the tank even though the tank design presented problems, something other companies we've used have complained about. Ross gave us a refresher course in checking and cleaning the filter but just HAD to let us know that if I'd kept that filter clean we wouldn't have needed the tank pumped. In fact on the paperwork he left with our receipt, he estimated the tank shouldn't need pumping for another three years. So, now slightly poorer but much wiser you can bet I'll be keeping up on keeping that filter clean.
