I'm giving five stars because I want this place to stick around. Food was good, came out super fast. Wings in particular were on point, cooked well and seasoned well. I can't attest to their beers because I had a delicious Maple Vanilla Penning's cider, they put out great stuff. The place is gorgeous and all the little details inside and out are noted! I will try the self serve area next time. My one complaint was the inattentive service. Young staff, our waitress seemed more focused on the other staff members than her tables (there were a whopping total of 2, us being one of them). Overall, very impressive and I will definitely go back to explore the entire place, as it seems to have something for everyone. read more

When you walk up to the entrance it's a very welcoming foyer, elegant . You can choose to have full service which we did and it was pleasant with lots of space between the tables . So many drink choices to make , we went with the handcrafted type seltzers which were light, refreshing & and flavorful , not like canned, watery or artificial tasting. The pizza and chicken sandwich were excellent as well as the pretzel which was fun& enjoyable to eat . Service was really great ! They have axe throwing , golfing and some other fun things to do which would like to check out next time ! read more

Aspire Brewing - Very clean and plenty of room for lots of patrons , we went after noon late lunch - Brewpubs Near Me - Middletown, New York

Closed on Mondays. I love the atmosphere, and the vibe here. The staff was friendly, and attentive to the big group we had. You can scan the code, order on your phone, and pay the bill on your phone if you choose. The wings are amazing. I highly recommend the Garlic Parmesan, & the Lemon Pepper. I didn't order The Buffalo wings because it is on the spicy side, and they don't have a mild option. The pizza is very good as well. They give you alot of French Fries with your order. I am not a beer drinker, but if you are, they do have plenty of IPA beer options you can choose from. Their home brewed Ice Tea wasn't bad at all. They also have an area to play Corn Hole. Ax Throwing is available at a cost, and you can rent out a room for simulated golf. I went on a Saturday night. The, DJ they had was very good, blended his tracks very well. I like this spot. I will be back. read more

had such a great time! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. The service was quick, and everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there, which made the whole experience even better. The ambiance was spot on -- relaxed, warm, and inviting. Between the rustic decor, good music, and laid-back atmosphere, it was the perfect place to unwind with friends & family! Definitely recommend. read more

Checked this out for the first time on Friday night. Really nice atmosphere. But that's all. The beer was not tasty. I did a flight of 2 sours, a cream ale and a seltzer. Not one solid tasting drink unfortunately. Food was hit or miss. Wings were good. Pretzel was so overcooked I couldn't believe they even served it looking that way. Dried out. Half of it was hard as a rock. It was as though it had been overcooked and then microwaved afterwards. Disgusting. My friend enjoyed the chicken sandwich. I wouldn't go back here. read more

Awesome brewery here in the Hudson Valley! Great food and atmosphere. It's a great place to spend your night.

Food is good..Service is okay and I love the ambiance :) My son love the simulator game room :)

Great Facility!! Great Atmosphere! Clean. Good Service Crew! The serve-yourself beer system is great!! Great selection of beers. Bar was great at describing the beers and free samples. Games area was hopping, and looked like a fun area. Remembering this is a brewery, with some gaming fun...I can only give the food two stars. The food is okay, but wouldn't stop me from coming back again to this beautiful establishment for a few IPAs and maybe their margarita pizza! Overall a fun time! read more

Excellent food. The best waiter. Our favorite local band, Skyward Falls. Very clean. Ambiance was very nice.

This weekend we went to the aspire brewing. This place is beautiful and I would love to go back. I am not a huge beer drinker but this is what I got suggested to tasted and they were all good ! They go by numbers on the beer menu: 1 35 31 37 My pizza was really good! Kind of gave a blaze feel ! The manager is super sweet I ordered a bunch of flavors that I thought i would like baste off of the description... definitely tasted nothing like what I read and she asked me what do i like and brought out everything that had similar tastes! She was a doll for that! read more

This place rules. I dined in one night really not expecting such great service, but received my food lightening quick. The wings are some of the best I've ever had. The rigatoni bolognese was outstanding. My wife got a burger that I had to finish and it was also top notch. Can't recommend this place enough, one of the best in Middletown. read more

I visited aspire brewery today at 5 o'clock for their carnival anniversary party. I wrote a review that the place was horrible. The owner replied and contradicted what I had said and I'm unable to reach back out to him to have a conversation and thus I'm writing this. I had mentioned that the AC was not working. He responded That The AC was working all day. When we got there at 5 o'clock, we were informed that there was a power Outage and the AC was off, but it was coming back on. It did not come back on. So the owner's statement that it was working all day is not correct. I had ordered a drink and was told that it was unavailable because the tap was broken. I had mentioned this to one of the assistant managers( I believe her name was Jessica) and she had confirmed and apologized. So again the owner statement that everything was working is in fact false. Additionally, There was a young family sitting next to me that was finishing up some kind of party. They had two small children and one was screaming and crying and throwing toy cars the entire time we were there . Now I understand that it was a carnival theme and it was catered to families with small children. However, as an older adult, I feel an Area should have been designated for families with small children and not the bar area. I wish this establishment the best of luck but I will not be visiting again and I will not recommend this if asked . read more

The ambiance was just what we were looking for. A nice variety of places to sit and hangout. Bar, table, couches and a gaming area in the back with corn hole and axe throwing. The food and beer were both top notch. The staff were attentive and friendly. We were traveling from Long Island and stopped in on our way to our destination. We liked it so much that we returned on our way home! Highly recommend aspire brewery. read more

I normally do not review a place I haven't been to. However, that said, I will be going the first chance I get. I bought two of their beers at a retail establishment: a hazy IPA (Seek) at 7.8 abv, and a double dry hopped hazy (Ambition) 6.8 abv. I have to say that they were both on the list of best beers I have ever had. I can't wait to check this place out. Straight from the keg. I'm very glad upper NY is turning into a craft haven. Keep up the good work aspire Brewing. And kudos Re: the positive messaging in naming your beers and establishment read more

Came here on a Thursday night with a friend and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere and ambience was very relaxed and chill. The decor was so cool and the place was so clean and spacious. Beers were so good and there were so many options! We got the pizza and gelato and both were fantastic. The service was great too. All servers were attentive, along with the Manager. Even bought myself a Koozie and some golf balls on my way out. Will definitely be back to use the golf stimulator! read more

Great night at Aspire Brewing. We had a pre-wedding party there last night and had a blast! The atmosphere was fun, complete with an amazing DJ and the staff was attentive and took great care of us. #aspirebrewing @aspirebrewing #buzzybooth read more

Understanding they just opened up and there will be a few kinks, this is a great local place to have around. The ambiance is great for date night, drinks with friends, or to try and even bring the kids. Decor is awesome with the colors, design, and more. The entryway makes for you to ask questions, know where to go (a bit confusing -self serve vs full service but yet you still need a QR code to be scanned). We opted for the full service where the QR code didn't work because we had no phone service. Not their fault but I tried to get in to WI-FI. Took a bit but in the scanner sheets on the tables, it should clearly mark the following : 1) log in to our free Wi-Fi "aspire guests" 2) take a picture of the QR code or scan for menu and ordering or 3) ask one of us for a menu and we'll take your order. It's unclear a bit especially for an older crowd (and that we are not). Drinks: they were great- I enjoyed their lemon cider from them, hubby enjoyed their beer, and more. Food: plain, ordinary, small portion, burnt fries (3 tiny chicken fingers)- yikes. Pizza was good but I've had much better. Automated system shocks you with a 22% auto tip for practically not doing much since you are your own server in the sense (not their fault & we always tip well) but check on that. Also check that you went back on the app after ordering to close your tab Merchandise- I was chilly so I went to buy a new hoodie and support their business, after all, their marketing logo looks awesome. Zip up, crew neck, and pull over were available. There were prices for other merchandise but not those so I asked the ladies at the front. They had no idea and said they just got put out. So I asked if I could know the zip up and pull over prices, and they continued talking to someone else... I waited a few minutes with no acknowledgment and moved on, back to being cold and definitely without a purchase. Overall- drinks and ambiance: great! Waitresses were helpful. Food and front merchandise with staff: not so great! Hope to visit again after they've settled in. read more

I've been sitting here for nearly an hour waiting for my food, which I ordered on my phone via a QR code. Each table has a custom QR code, which is how they know what food goes to which table. Great idea, in theory, but in practice it appears to be highly flawed. Even after mentioning my order to an employee, it's been half an hour with no food. They did finally bring me some water though, so that's progress. Even worse, I can't just leave, because they charge your card when you order; and I see no way of canceling my order on the webpage. Insert "Jurassic Park Clever Girl" meme. You got me good, new restaurant, got me good. I'd rate the food, if I ever got it. Ambiance, leaves much to be desired; more like a sports bar than anything. But it's such a mash up of decor and themes that it could arguably be just about anything; other than a fine dining restaurant. I typically hesitate to leave reviews like this, but in this case I consider it doing future readers a favor. Don't subject yourself to this "experience". Edit: The food finally arrived after an hour and ten minutes. Pizza was decent. Parmesan wings were meh, teriyaki wings were delicious. They brought the wrong burger, which is hilarious since they only have two options. I ate it anyway, because damn if I was going to wait any longer for food. My verdict stands. read more

There's a guy name Ben who claimed he doesn't work there , but was magically able to help us get a replacement item for my picky girlfriend. The beer is always amazing, I have a recycling bin full to prove it. I've only been to Aspire twice and ordered small bites,& both times I was satisfied, especially since no one really goes to a brewery for food. read more

Food was terrible. Started with nachos. They were rubbery and the meat greasy. The classic burger with cheddar cheese and the steak burger with american cheese were both awful. The meat was gamey tasting. My husband looked at me and said " is this that fake meat, would they have to put that on the menu if it were"? Both cheddar and American cheese tasted the same. The fries when piping hot were fine but 5 minutes later they became rubbery ( as though they had been microwaved). My husband the bacon was not edible and he has never met a pc of bacon he did not like. I asked for a side of mayo... it tasted like a poor quality mayo- was not Hellmans. Overall the quality was very cheap but prices were not. This terrible burger was $18 . A diet soda was $5. For the record, the soda and tomatoes on the burgers were good. The wait staff and all employees we encountered were great. The space is nice too. read more

Let me just tell you, for a Friday night it was empty. Ordered food drinks came right away. About 49 minutes later. No food was to be found. Asked the waitress about food. When another table was just seated and already had their 3 appetizers. No one seemed to know what was going on with our food. Waitress had to wait for a supervisor to cancel food off our order. And after she couldn't find one. I just paid drink bill and left. Have to do better! I recommend carrying cash. Who knows how long it would have taken if they needed to take my card. Needless to say I would never come back and wouldn't recommend this place. It was better as an off track betting spot. read more

Chose this spot for a quick get together with a friend. Space was huge! There's full service and serve yourself areas, so depending on what you are in the mood for, those options exist. All the staff were friendly. The menu looked decent overall. We split charcuterie and a pizza, both were tasty. Had a canned cocktail - also tasty. I'd probably go back again for a non-chain restaurant local option when needing to hang out for a little bit with friends, drinks and snacks. read more

AMAZING!!! Fun spot with a bar, self-pour beer station, cornhole, axe throwing, and a golf simulator. Decor has such a cool, modern vibe. The food was delicious and surpassed expectations. The space is clean and the staff is super friendly. Prices were reasonable. Definitely will be coming back here with a group of friends. They even have a private room for events. Let me start by saying I was going to give it two stars, the server was young and did not put in my order with the others so out of the 9 orders we placed we only got 8 and I did not get mine 30 minutes later after asking 2 different waiters they got the manager he explained something about there system when placing the order and he took care of the problem and got my order he also did right on the bill so on that note I give it 4 stars the food was on point and the location looked really nice I will try it again just hope they help the servers to work better read more

Ignore the claim of elevating bar food. Got a Caesar Salad and a pretzel. Two things which are hard to mess up. Well, Aspire did. Salad was big, but for $18 you expect more than oily lettuce. Would have been great if the dressing had any flavor to it, but it was like it was dressed only in olive oil with some grated parm and croutons. No lemon, no anchovy, no salt other than what the cheese imparted. The pretzel was the opposite. It was so caked in salt it was impossible to eat. Even the dough (after the outside salt had been taken off) was super salty. The cinnamon sugar butter wasn't bad and helped to cut the saltiness. The honey mustard was generic and nothing special. A good, stone ground version would have been better. The beer cheese was worse than the salty pretzel. It wasn't anything like I thought it would be. Is beer cheese supposed to be thin and soupy? Service is also not the best. The greeter was pleasant and took the time to explain how their ordering system worked. You sit at a table with a green card if you want full service, or at a table with a white card if you want to scan the QR code to download a menu and then order your food. The only person you will see is the food runner. We chose the green option, and might as well have gone with the white for the amount of service we got. Water is served in a carafe with plastic cups. A waiter/server showed up about five minutes after we sat down (we were told to pick our table) to bring us menus. The menu is super short, which usually means the kitchen is great at what they do. Sadly, no. We weren't the only diners there as there were about 15 or so other people. The beer options are plentiful and a great selection across the spectrum. The food menu is more focused on pizza than anything else. There's a few burger options, and the appetizers are limited to items like wings, buffalo cauliflower bites, and the pretzel. The server came back about five minutes after giving us our menus so we could order. Food showed up about five minutes after that. Glad it didn't take long as the seating is incredibly uncomfortable - plastic chairs with edges that dig into your thighs. We were both squirming in discomfort by the time we ended the meal. This is a bummer as the atmosphere of the place is one where you should be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy some drinks and food with friends. Neither of us wanted to finish the food we ordered and we left still hungry. Leftovers were boxed up and taken home, but before they were eaten, the salad had a much better dressing added as well as some grilled chicken (which is not an option at Aspire. You can't add any kind of protein to the salads.). The pretzel met with an Irish stone ground mustard with dill. Still salty, but the mustard choice fit much better than what was served at the restaurant. Their beer cheese needs serious improvement and a larger serving size. The pretzel dip options were served in tiny little plastic cups. When we boxed up the food, we had to ask for lids for these as the server didn't think to bring them. Finally we paid our bill and left without ordering any dessert, which is a 'flight' of donuts and various dipping options. Server appeared to be the only one, so he was so busy with other customers he didn't say anything to us as we left. The greeter thanked us for coming. Aspire Brewery has a lot of room for improvement. They just recently opened and seem to still be working out the kinks. With such a short menu, the kitchen should be incredible with every option, especially the basic ones like the pretzel. Most of the other patrons had beers and appeared to be enjoying the options, so if you go strictly for drinks it doesn't seem like you will be disappointed. Other patrons who also ordered food seemed to have the same experience we did. They'd try the food, make a face, and then pick at it rather than eating with enthusiasm. A table of four near us called the server over and talked to him about their lackluster order of various appetizers (wings and pretzels). We left before seeing if they got replacement or not. This place could be amazing if they gave more attention to their food. read more

My wife and I visited with a couple friends. Staff was very welcoming and ushered us to a table. There are so many beer taps around that a customer can access with the use of a card. Food can be ordered through the use of a QR code. We ordered the charcuterie board, Bavarian pretzel and a pizza to share. The charcuterie board was locally sourced meats and cheeses accompanied by fresh fruit and jams & dip. It was drizzled with a balsamic glaze. Holy moly! The ham was so buttery and melt in your mouth. The ginormous Bavarian style pretzel that had a crispy outer shell with a soft inside. It was served with house made beer cheese, dijon mustard and cinnamon butter. The pizza was delicious. It was topped with fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, and soppressata. The establishment is very clean and decorated nicely. It is warmly lit making it feel very welcoming with tall glass windows over looking the area where delicious beers are brewed. I will most definitely be back. read more
