Geox is an Italian brand that has come over the Atlantic for a few years now. I was introduced to…read morethem by a friend who swears her entire extended Italian family only wears this brand... everyone from the babies to the grandfathers. I have to admit that their quality is a step up from the usual Nine West or Bay offerings. They're actually well made and have some good thoughts on the science behind them. They have 2 big claims which I like for Canada... one of them being waterproof leather (hellloooo winter slush) and the other being breathable (oh yes summer humidity, I didnt forget about you). Another nice thing, you're actually buying real leather... none of this fake leather you'd find everywhere else. For me, I've had 3 of boots from here and personally, they have worn beautifully year over year. That's right... I've had them for a few years each and the leather still looks great even with winter wear. I do maintain them but I've never had the soles wear through, have leather peel or crack, or any stitching become undone. I find these are definitely suitable for Canadian winters. That being said... these boots are also my most pragmatic. They're not cute or sexy... they're solid and reasonable shoes. You know the ones that a parent might wear. So the heels are not stilettos ever, colours are not crazy, not tassels or sequins... like I said, reasonable. I would love to buy shoes here cause they're comfy but I would feel like my mom in the styles. As for the price point, ok... this is wear you might pause and go "$350 for boots?" But here's the thing... if I got to Aldo or Nine West, I'm buying $180 boots for fake leather that will only last maybe 2 years. I buy the Geox ones on sale for 20% off at $280 and they last 4+ years and still look good. So Im saving money in the long run, I stay dry, and I'm not freezing either. As for service, it can be touch and go here... it really depends on what day you head in. I've been ignored completely and then other times, I'm rolled out the red carpet. It really depends on who is working here. That being said, I've never had an issue of asking for a size and them being helpful. You never know here. So if youre looking to have the latest family forward European styles... Geox got you covered on all fronts. It's great comfy shoes and yes at a price point higher than you're used to but they will work in Canada whether it be the dead of winter or oven temps of summer.

The gentleman helping me got distracted and took an extremely long time to bring me the boots I requested. With that being said, having the chargers is the only thing that made me continue waiting for 10 plus minutes. I didn't find any flats that I liked but I love Geox heels when I'm in the market for them. Geox shoes are really comfortable and they have patented technology to keep your feet cool and sweat free. I recommend you check out this store when your in the market for new shoes or boots. They also sell jackets, which I have been told are really good.

I asked one of the associates working at the time for some assistance (I believe her name was Jada, she was black and had dread extensions) When I initially asked her for help, she was occupied with something else, however I did not see any other customer talking to her. Instead of simply saying, "One second i am doing something" she put her finger in my face referencing for me to wait for her to help me. All the other employees were helping someone so I waited despite the rude hand gesture. At the time, I was wearing a puffer from Zara, and I wanted something that fit me similar in terms of size. After Jada introduced herself to me, she proceeded to ask me if I had on a knock off Super Puffer? (which I had no idea Aritizia even had copy right to their clothing but whatever). I answered her no, and then she asked me how much the jacket I had on costs and informed me that , "judging by what I had on, she knew that the super puffer at Aritizia would be way out of my budget" and told me if I was interested in something cheaper, that H&M had more options "within my budget range". All while she was saying that, she had the most disgusting look on her face that made me feel completely unwelcomed. I have been a customer at Aritzia for years, and not once has ANY employee made me feel as low and disgusting as her. As a result I will not be coming back and Aritizia will not get a red cent of my money. I hope this issue is rectified, and I will be calling head office to follow-up as I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by her behavior.

This is a disaster. Some years ago I'd spend thousands and thousands of dollars at this chain of stores. I'd spontaneously buy things I found there at reg price just because they fit well and looked good. GR actually helped me (6'-6", 36 waist, 15 shoe) build a decent casual fashion wardrobe for some years. and I scooped most anything they stocked that could use, as did other tall slim locals like me (it was competitive and sizes went fast.) I contacted customer service, and it was resolved after two days. Then, they charged the $15 return fee, but REFUSE to refund the sales taxes of $50 that they collected at the time of purchase. I contacted customer service again. Five days later, they said the taxes were forwarded to my local "customs authorities" and ask me to claim them back myself. It's only been 2 weeks since I placed the order and return the product. I don't believe the taxes are forwarded to any Canadian authorities at this time. They didn't provide any detailed information on which authority they forwarded the taxes to, and when the taxes collected from me were forwarded. If the product is still in its "returnable period", any taxes collected should NOT be forwarded to any other parties. Why would you give out the taxes knowing the product could be returned? This return cost me $65 for nothing but a very frustrating and disappointing experience! My friend recommend them to me, but I'm very disappointed! Well known for their leather jackets and more fitted skinny wear, it does bring the style over the Atlantic. The store in Yorkdale is quite similar to the ones you find in UK. The one I visited in Leeds had half the space but the darkness and industrial loft vibe is the same. With men's wear on one side and women's wear on the other, you can easily look around to see if any particular cloth interest you. Most of the time, AllSaints colour scheme is dark ... olives, grey, black, or brown. Occasionally you'll get the cream or maybe a navy. This time.. weirdest thing, they had Hawaiian shirts for the men's. Like I said, weird and unexpected. The women's line tend to have a touch more colour. With summer season, they did have a few cute summer dresses. Aside from a darker colour palette, the women's wear has an obvious trend. Nothing form fitting but it can be short! Their mini dresses or skirts can much shorter than you're used to! That being said they do have a bunch of items that are ok to bend over and not feel like you're gonna be the next meme. I do find their clothes to be very different compared to most North American brands. I highly suggest you try them on ... even the ones that look terrible on the rack. I ended up falling in love with one that looks like a potato sack ... turns out it has a gorgeous low cut drape in the front and it's short. Price wise... it's not cheap at all but I do find the materials very soft and the clothes well made. They may not have a lot of tailored edges or special styling, but I find their clothes stand up well to wash and wear. It is a bit trendy so they trend may die before the clothes do. They do sales as well... I think I saw a few nice pieces for 40%. So if you're not looking to spend $100 on a shirt, you could wait for the sale. Service here was pretty good ... they were greeting everyone and letting them know of the store wide sale. They were also proactive to help find a size and also help match up other items to what we tried to find. I maybe biased but I have fond memories shopping in London at AllSaints. I feel the Canadian stores have a very similar experience. Maybe I'm not edgy enough to wear all the street clothes but I'll check out the cute sundress next time I'm in Yorkdale.

I've been a long time customer of The Shoe Company. This location in particular I feel deserves feedback for anyone thinking of shopping at ANY Shoe Company retail store. This location has a huge parking lot, just be careful bc plenty don't know how to drive in this area! Public Transit isn't but a few minutes away due to the bus "station" Staff varies there some are very helpful some are too shy. Their prices are reasonable considering the wide range of name brands they have. Sizing can be an issue, so don't contemplate for too long bc once you find a size and shoe you love/like you better grab them! They definitely don't have them on the shelf for too long. Now, here's a particular experience I just had. They didn't have the size I needed so we ordered it as it was available from their website. HOWEVER, the cashier did not mention why the shoe was discounted for ordering it than the price it had on the shelf but a size a couldn't use. We then placed the order. it was delivered to my house for free. Turns out the wrong size came in, apparently a stupid mistake bc I didn't realize nor did she... that the size was a half size too big. When it came in the mail.. we noticed it was too big of a shoe. I went back for an exchange. The exact same shoe. but, different size. They could not honor the price I got originally. and they also said its from the time I paid not when the shoe arrived.. so it was "too far back" do them to honor the sale price. I had to dish out an extra 50$. The weird thing is the cashier insisted to have the supervisors look at why the price from the new size IN STORE was a higher price... they went back and forth in discussion and literally said they will not honor the price I paid. Sigh... had I know all these little rules/ policies I would have paid closer attention to the order and not trust what the cashier was doing.
