One of the dresses was originally meant to be in a light color, but plans changed. The dress was ordered and paid for (by my mom), but it was never picked up -- in fact, the store hadn't even received it yet. I asked if I could change the color to black so it would match the other bridesmaids. The owner told me absolutely no refunds or exchanges under any circumstances. Considering the store made thousands of dollars from us, and this particular dress wasn't in their possession yet, I think it's unfair that I wasn't allowed to make a simple change. A little flexibility would have gone a long way, especially for a bridal party spending this much money. Because of this, I would only recommend shopping here if you are absolutely, 100% certain of every detail before you pay. Once they have your money, there is no flexibility. Sadly, due to how this was handled, I would not recommend Madeline's to others in the future

Even though we did not have an appointment and the store was busy that day, they accommodated us and set us up with 2 of the nicest, most welcoming and patient salespeople. Ava and Talin really care about their customers and it is clear that they have expertise and passion for their work. In addition to what we selected, they brought out other mother of the groom dresses for us to try on based on what they knew would be suitable for our body types. They also made alteration suggestions so that the dresses would meet our vision/comfort level. We never felt pressured to buy or rushed despite the fact that another couple was waiting for assistance. We found 2 suitable dresses each and will be back with our future daughters in law to make the final selection. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!!!

She was patient and kind, offered suggestions and was so attentive. The dresses were organized by colours and length (long and short) and she told us not to worry too much about colour because these dresses will come in other colours if you order it. Now the dresses itself in my opinion are okay. The styles were nice and ranged around 500$ which is standard for those types of dresses and especially the brands. That's the best way I can describe her style and designs. She tries to make sure her clothing appeals to a younger crowd (while also having stylish but conservative attire for older age groups). Her designs are incredibly stylish, inventive, and reflects current trends. Colourful, but cut well, and stylish. The Showroom: Mani Jassal herself is incredibly sweet, helpful, and responsive. Visiting her showroom is by appointment only, so you have to reach out by email to set something up. Once you're there (with Drake and upbeat hip hop humming in the background), someone is there to assist you with finding what you're looking for. The showroom is clean, presented well, and reflects a truly modern and trendy style without straying too far from the foundations of Indian dress. Pricing: We actually found pricing to be very reasonable, compared to other more traditional shops we visited in Mississauga/Brampton. Overall, we were really glad we found Mani. The selection matched what the bride and groom wanted exactly. And they were several thousand miles away. Everything fitted perfectly and when you're fitting a football lineman that's tough to do. However both were perfect and a great value compared to anywhere else. Locally or out of town pricing. But the best part was the service. Everything was packed for travel and bagged perfectly. Everything was provided (had my own shoes)and looked and fit good. Talked to some people at the wedding and found out that they paid as much as $100 more for the same thing. The service was great, no rush to return the next day. If I ever need a suit when I go up there, I'd go to Marty's.

On the day of my brothers wedding we had to stop by to tell them the shirts they gave us were not tailored at all even though we paid 300$ to get them tailored. We ended up getting a full refund, but definitely not worth all that stress. Customer service is HORRIBLE and their suits, ties, and accessories are way over priced especially for the low quality. I would not recommend this place, especially if you are planning for your wedding. They honestly made too many mistakes that made the entire bridal party stressed out lol not just me.
