It's a loft-like space with lots of natural light and really well decorated. One thing that set it apart immediately, is it doesn't have that thrift store smell. They're true to their word that they're only selecting good quality items. Sure, some of the items are perhaps a bit plain, but you don't have to take too long to find a few things you'll like. It's certainly not the case of searching for a diamond in the rough. I imagine woman will like the place even more since about 80% of the floor space is for them. There were several shoppers there and they seemed to have no issue picking out great stuff too. Also, prices are GREAT! Anyone who's 'vintage' shopped in places like Kensington Market will know that things can still have relatively higher prices. My items were incredibly inexpensive, including a Banana Republic shirt which showed virtually no signs of wear for $10. I found out at the counter that this is actually a franchise as part of a fairly large chain (which I hadn't previously heard of). Regardless, they're a very unique and welcome edition to the city.

I placed the order and it was smooth and user-friendly. I immediately got my e-mail confirmation. The order was placed on May 9, and the e-mail and website included notices that orders were delayed due to COVID-19 circumstances. On May 13, I received an update e-mail thanking me for my patience, and reassurance that the order was on track to be delivered within the originally promised timeline. On May 19, I received another e-mail to say that the order was almost ready, and once again thanking me for my patience. On May 21, I received my e-mail notification letting me know that my order had been shipped via Canada Post. On May 22, I received 2 e-mails from Canada Post: one to confirm that H & M had created the shipping label, and another that the parcel was received and sent out, with tracking number and link to track delivery progress. It did not make it on May 24 as first expected, but I did get it the next day on May 25. It was adequately packaged in a thick plastic courier bag but without any additional/excess/useless materials. The item was the right one and the right size. Awesome customer experience! Also included was a letter with all the order details, and a return form (if needed), PLUS a postage paid return label! You simply fill out the reason from the 8 listed (or other) and you'e good for a return within 30 days. The charge to my credit card only sat in Pending until after I received my package. What a fantastic experience! I can actually compare this directly to another order we placed with Buzzfeed online the same day for another shirt, and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. First off, it's June 3 and I'm still waiting for it (even though they completely posted the charge already onto my credit card). I got one e-mail notification the day we ordered and that was it. Just a note in it that I could expect a 15-23 business day wait time for the order to be sent out, and God only knows how much longer before it arrives. I've received no notes on progress ever since. Would absolutely order again from H & M. SOOOO well done!!!
