I needed a gift for my brother in law. I wanted something a little upwards of casual. I've known…read morethat this establishment has been here for years, and figured it was time to give it a try. I could see from their window displays that there would be a good selection of better than average clothing. Upon going inside, we were cheerily greeted by Sandy (short for Santino, I presume.) He asked what we were looking for, and what budget we wanted to work with. I was specifically looking for a black, V-neck sweater. Sandy immediately knew what options he had in the store. It didn't take long at all for him to bring over a few selections. I was quickly able to make a choice. This sweater was made in Italy, and had some cashmere content. I couldn't believe how quick, easy, and pleasant the whole experience was. My purchase was nicely boxed and bagged. Sandy provided a gift receipt with a relaxed time frame in case the recipient needed to come in for an exchange. My husband meantime enjoyed browsing the imported clothing and made a note to return for himself. They create custom made suits on addition to the designer off the rack wares. High likelihood we will return when the time comes.

I headed to PER LUI as I was looking for a couple of dress shirts and few accessories as I have a couple of upcoming formal events. I have not been in the store for a while but wanted to check it out because they obviously are doing something right as they have been operating for 31 years. I tell you my wife and I were extremely impressed. Not only did they have a fantastic selection but the customer service was absolutely outstanding. They had an extensive selection of dress shirts so it was quite overwhelming in a good way but with the help of the gentleman that served me I was able to find what I was looking for while staying within my budget. The store has a very relaxed atmosphere. You can take your time browsing while enjoying an espresso from their espresso bar. I ended up purchasing 3 dress shirts, a couple pairs of socks and a pocket square. I am extremely happy with my purchases. Top notch store with top notch customer service. No doubt about it this is my go to men's store.

They usually have a pretty good selection of sizes as well. Like another review mentioned, there tends to be a shortage of staff on the ground. Once you flag one down, however, they tend to be quite helpful. Their Denver Hayes house brand has proved pretty impressive to me. I found that the treads on their brand performed better on my winter boots than my pricey Sorels. I now use their undergarments as a go-to brand whenever I'm restocking, and like to give them as stocking stuffers or add ons for presents. They have a nice selection of solid white basics, and a nice range of colours. I always check out their sales and clearance sections, where I've scored some nice brand name pieces like my Bench jacket at a really good discount. They also almost always have sales and promotions going on for seasonal items. I love their generous return policy. I have never had any trouble exchanging any item over the years. Also, because they're part of the Triangle group along with Canadian Tire, you get all that great loyalty cash at an increased rate. On occasion I've had to turn to another larger location, but in general, I can get what I need here. Definitely a go-to place for basics.

They gave me their feedback on the products and tried to help me find a nice pair of winter boots. Unfortunately, they didn't have my size but I was able to find a nice plaid shirt. I officially bought my first plaid shirt and I now feel even more Canadian. Hehe. It's worth checking out this store if you need hard core winter boots or some jeans.

So far I have only dealt with them online, but the service I received from Jonathan was absolutely amazing. I was having trouble deciding between several items, but Jonathan asked me a few questions and was able to help me decide. When the stuff arrived, he was totally right. I am so happy to have received his advice. From now on, I only want to shop at Lost and Found. Thank you so much, I can't wait to place my next order. Update: I was in Toronto for a wedding and had some time to go visit them in person. They are in a great location, the store is well organized, and the staff is friendly and passionate about fashion. I had a great conversation about the brands they stock and why they choose them, which only further reinforced my opinion that this is the best men's store in Canada. But the best part was this: I bought a sweater (among other things) and was about to pay for it when I noticed a thread coming loose. To my amazement, their team was able to repair the garment while I waited. Not only do they stock the best clothing, they also provide excellent support. The sweater has been great ever since and survived several trips through the wash. Thanks for the perfect repair job! Next time please teach me how to do that :)

Nice selections of Guinness novelty items, Irish traditional more conservative clothing.. those nice sweaters, overcoat would certainly keep you warm and toasty.. but just don't look at the price tag. Make sure you go to the back and have some Irish cuisine, irish tea and desserts. It is a delight to see a little tea shop inside of the store where you can enjoy some Irish home cooking!

Niagara-on-the-Lake is a all about the shopping, history and lake time (it's named for a reason!); and as far as shopping goes, Irish Design should be one of your stops. Beautiful store chalk full of Irish (no surprise there!) products, many made from beautiful Merino wool: socks, hats, blankets and the most beautiful, thick sweaters you've ever seen. Also, a large assortment of scarves, jewelry and all your Irish needs. Whether you're looking for a present for yourself or someone else, if you're willing to open your pocket book VERY wide, this might be just the stop for you. Like most of the stores directly on Queen Street (the main drag in Niagara-on-the-Lake), Irish Design has its prices set high. Although, they DO have a "sale" section and remember, everything is listed in Canadian dollars. They accept credit, cash and US currency and have a lovely tea room, which I did not visit, in the back of the store (bathrooms only available for tea room patrons, no public store washroom!) Irish Design is also located near the [shopping] end of Queen Street, right before the residential strip, couple shops over from King George Theater. Great hours, opening at 9:30am during the weekday. Overall, a cozy shop and unique enough that it should be on your list of places to visit.

I discovered Mani Jassal while I was a bridesmaid for an Indian wedding. I was helping a friend…read morefind formal dresses for her ceremonies, and we were getting very tired and frustrated with finding just the usual, traditional, boxy Indian wedding garb that we were finding at a majority of stores in Mississauga, Brampton, and East Toronto. We wanted something more hip, more modern - and Mani's creations are just that. Mani's Style: Mani marries traditional Indian clothing with hip. That's the best way I can describe her style and designs. She tries to make sure her clothing appeals to a younger crowd (while also having stylish but conservative attire for older age groups). Her designs are incredibly stylish, inventive, and reflects current trends. Colourful, but cut well, and stylish. The Showroom: Mani Jassal herself is incredibly sweet, helpful, and responsive. Visiting her showroom is by appointment only, so you have to reach out by email to set something up. Once you're there (with Drake and upbeat hip hop humming in the background), someone is there to assist you with finding what you're looking for. The showroom is clean, presented well, and reflects a truly modern and trendy style without straying too far from the foundations of Indian dress. Pricing: We actually found pricing to be very reasonable, compared to other more traditional shops we visited in Mississauga/Brampton. Overall, we were really glad we found Mani. If you're looking for Indian formal wear that's on the trendier and modern side (but still reflecting Indian dress style), this is the place for you. I highly recommend checking out her shop!
