I was really looking forward to shopping here again and made a trip from the United States to Toronto to get a lengha for an upcoming event. However, I ended up rather disappointed. After purchasing a lengha and paying for alterations, it seems that the majority of my requested alterations were neglected entirely. I thought this must be a simple mistake, but when I called the store to inquire about the issue, the woman on the phone denied that the store had made an error at all. Instead she argued that I had never requested those alterations and rushed me off the phone, hanging up before I could finish my sentence. I had clearly expressed at the store that I wanted a lengha skirt without can can, and that I needed the cups removed from the blouse and that the threads at the bottom of the skirt that would need to be trimmed. Per the attached photo, you can see the threads were left quite messily; perhaps the store no longer values excellence the way it once did.

The first time I visited here was this past summer as my husband tagged me in their Instagram post announcing a sale. I needed to get an outfit for my brother in law's wedding reception and am so glad I came to Sahiba. Since I am not a standard size, I didn't find too many samples that fit off the rack however the tailor was kind enough to let me know which pieces she could alter properly to fit my frame. In the end my husband found a beautiful anarkali dress which fit almost perfectly - I just had to get it taken in a little bit. Not to mention, it was marked down over $1000 off! The store employees were very nice to me and helped me to find what I was looking for, which was very much appreciated! I ended up sending my mom here as well to find outfits for the same wedding and she also enjoyed her experience here plus found a few beautiful pieces. Whether it is Eid, party wear, or wedding clothes, I go to Alia. Her clothes are elegant, stylish, and actually last! These days, it's so easy to wear something once and never wear it again but I always wear my Alia K suits again and I always receive compliments on them. I recently ordered my Nikkah dress through her and it turned out beautifully. I couldn't be happier. She worked with me and my family to make changes to the style and ensured everything is exactly how I wanted it to be. Furthermore, it fit me like a sleeve.
