How a business can continue to stay alive in this industry includes excellent customer service, honesty and being happy at work...this store has none of that. Whether it is Eid, party wear, or wedding clothes, I go to Alia. Her clothes are elegant, stylish, and actually last! These days, it's so easy to wear something once and never wear it again but I always wear my Alia K suits again and I always receive compliments on them. I recently ordered my Nikkah dress through her and it turned out beautifully. I couldn't be happier. She worked with me and my family to make changes to the style and ensured everything is exactly how I wanted it to be. Furthermore, it fit me like a sleeve. She went above and beyond our expectations. My dad and brothers needed matching waistcoats but couldn't find a size and she had her people in Pakistan pick them up for her and ship them to us. I can shoot her a text and she always accommodates an appointment for me. She is so sweet, caring, and takes her time which is rare to find. I trust her completely for all of my desi clothing needs. We wanted something more hip, more modern - and Mani's creations are just that. Mani's Style: Mani marries traditional Indian clothing with hip. That's the best way I can describe her style and designs. She tries to make sure her clothing appeals to a younger crowd (while also having stylish but conservative attire for older age groups). Her designs are incredibly stylish, inventive, and reflects current trends. Colourful, but cut well, and stylish. The Showroom: Mani Jassal herself is incredibly sweet, helpful, and responsive. Visiting her showroom is by appointment only, so you have to reach out by email to set something up. Once you're there (with Drake and upbeat hip hop humming in the background), someone is there to assist you with finding what you're looking for. The showroom is clean, presented well, and reflects a truly modern and trendy style without straying too far from the foundations of Indian dress. Pricing: We actually found pricing to be very reasonable, compared to other more traditional shops we visited in Mississauga/Brampton. Overall, we were really glad we found Mani. If you're looking for Indian formal wear that's on the trendier and modern side (but still reflecting Indian dress style), this is the place for you. I highly recommend checking out her shop!
