That said, there are only about 3 major fabrics in the store, but made into different styles. For instance, with one style of cloth that they buy a ton of fabric of, they make two different types of dresses, jackets, skirts and so on, all from the same cloth. So you can literally buy the entire line and wear every piece that will match perfectly with the others. The demographic seems to be rich(er) women in their 40s - 60s... which isn't to say that a 20-something like me can't wear the dresses, but first I would have to shell out about $300 per dress, and second, I would have to find the styles I like. Otherwise, it's a very lovely store, they are very nice and will do alterations for free :)

I bought three dresses (wasn't sure about one of them) but was told you have a week to return it (with the receipt ) Ok , simple. Four days later I returned it, with the receipt, and I put it on a velvet hanger ( I had thrown out the bag) I had taken the price tag off but reattached it with a small gold pin. The manager said they can't take it back because the price tag was removed (never was it mentioned by the staff that the price tag being removed was an issue ) I said Can't you use that price tag gun to reattach it ? We don't own one. Then went on, and said dresses with no tags are donated not resold They are priced at the factory. I asked what happens when someone trying on the Dress accidentally removes the tag in the dressing room? Pause. . She looks at my tag, types in the computer, walks to a rack of clothes and says your tag is for THIS Dress, not the dress you brought in. I said, So you mis tagged my dress? Did I pay more for my dress then? Pause. She looks at the tag again and said, you bought 3 dresses, I'm afraid you brought the wrong tag in. The printing on the tags are tiny (so to be cautious) I brought all three tags in, just in case. I Showed her all three tags at once. Silence. I'm with my daughter, who found a dress she liked (it was supposed to be a fun day with her) At this point, the manager (I asked) was fuming. I said, Look, I just want to make a Simple exchange. She huffed, FINE! Never ever again!!! My daughter, was in shock at the treatment. We will never shop there again. This manager was worst I've ever met. I don't know how she got to be the manager, but she is a very poor choice. I have reached out to the head office as well. Normally I'm speechless and let things go. not today. This shop isn't a large shop but they manage to pack a lot of things in here. Besides the ladies clothing they also have things like wallets, bags, jewellery & some kitchen stuff (mugs, linens). Their winter scarves & gloves were on sale so I got a very pretty blue scarf too! I'd never heard of this store before as I don't frequent the Danforth area much. But I'm glad I came here after my friend recommended it. This is the kind of store I like to support. Ironically they carry one of the brands I like: Blue Sky Clothing. Go outside and then upstairs is where the clothing is. Located on 2 levels it of course has the feel of Anthropologie and similar pricing. This week they have 30% off their sale items. Some jewelry, shoes but mostly clothes I wasn't that impressed by the clothing. I more so loved the lingerie.
