I chose the lowest which was 30% sweetness. They were little tiny flowers in the tea, which may have been part of the peach tea, but it did throw me a bit. It was a nice refreshing drink, though definitely not my favorite place for Boba. The staff were friendly and helpful. And it was a pretty good value value.

But for the whole grand scheme of how fast prices are rising these days due to inflation, I thought the prices were still more stomach-able (is that even a word?) among students /crowds looking for quick snacks/something light. The only things that may be less optimal were: 1) small store size (there weren't many seats inside the store; so chances are you are going to take it to go) and 2) they didn't seem to have hot options (you can sure ask them..but I'm not sure how that will taste)..so this shop may not be a great idea when it's super cold outside/in the winter.

The first experience shopping is almost overwhelming - it doesn't feel that big at first but it just keeps going and going and going. You can find some crazy deals scattered around. The rear entrance takes you directly to the (huge) liquor section, with a full bar where you can grab a drink while you shop. I recently heard about the story of Jungle Jim's starting as just a humble food stand in the 70s, which over time expanded to the attraction that it is today. It's not every day you see a store this size that's not owned by a billion-dollar international corporation. They're Cincinnati locals, family owned, made their success, and continue to provide value and entertainment to the families that visit. It's great to see. If you plan to visit, expect to be there for at least a couple of hours!

The selection of international foods was incredible. My husband and I found products that we hadn't seen since traveling abroad, which made the visit especially nostalgic and fun. It truly felt like taking a culinary trip around the world without leaving the store. One of the unique features is that adults can purchase a beverage from one of the small bars inside the market and enjoy it while browsing the aisles. Combined with the incredible variety of foods, snacks, spices, and specialty items, there was always something new to discover around every corner. We could have spent hours exploring and still not seen everything. No one there seemed to care it smelled like garbage that had sat on the curb for two days and would put someone in the hospital if they tried to eat it. We walked the bowl directly to our outdoor garbage can because the smell in the house was making everyone sick. You could smell how bad it was from two stories, through a closed door. There is no way any restaurant would be ok with serving this. This wasn't just an unfortunate flavor; we could have sued them if we'd been stupid enough to eat it. So, I guess just ask if they plan on giving you literal garbage and then shrugging if you complain about possibly getting food poisoning before ordering because they do not care after you pay and have the item in your possession. I'll be contacting the Cincinnati Health Department when they open. This place is going to hurt someone who tastes the food without knowing better. I don't leave reviews unless a restaurant is amazing or they are dangerously bad.
