Everything about this place LOOKS like it would be top notch but in fact it's quite the opposite…read more They have all the parking blocked off for 30 min parking for delivery or DoorDash. And "private parking" which doesn't tell us anything. If you park in a private parking spot, for customers OR residents, they will have your car towed. Even if you're a RESIDENT. Not even a warning or ticket. They'll Tow your car after business hours leaving you no way to get in contact with anyone. Management is a complete joke and they NEVER respond to emails or calls. The pool currently has a thick layer of slime all over the floor and side walls because they never properly clean it. Someone slipped yesterday trying to get in because the pool is so slimy. Factory caters more to trying to get people to visit and spend money on their campus rather than the people who pay ASTRONOMICAL rent prices. Avoid this place at all costs.

We ordered our drinks and food. While we sat outside we watched the dogs in the dog park area and enjoyed the beautiful weather. (Got a table with an umbrella - great coverage from the sun.) The food was wonderful - avocado toast and scrambled eggs (breakfast) and a veggie Jackson salad. As you can see from the photos - lots of food! The drinks were really good too - a Norwood Long Island Iced tea and an espresso martini and a strawberry banana shake. Great place! We will be back!!

I didn't plan on writing a review of this mainstay cafe in Newport. In fact, I had many pleasurable…read moreexperiences there years ago (10+ years) and was excited to meet an old friend for lunch who had suggested the eatery. So because this was a meet-up, I did not take any pictures of my food. My experience was so lacking from years ago, that afterwards I felt I needed to share it sans photos. The staff was extremely friendly and the food came out quickly. It was the quality that was lacking. I'm sure there have been many changes in chefs/cooks over the past decade, but these staples: bowl of chili and sweet potato fries were just lacking. Both have been on the menu since I used to go there long ago. The chili was watery- almost like a tomato soup with a bit of beef. Toppings were nice: sour cream, onions, cheddar cheese. The sweat potato fries were overdone and a smaller portion for the price, but I understand the cost issues restaurants face today, so I had no problem with the price. The side pineapple sauce tasted just like it did years ago, so I was happy with that consistency. I'm hoping this was just an off day for the kitchen staff. The host and wait staff were exceptional.

The food was definitely the highlight. I went with the Slaytar, which was tasty, though next time I might ask for a little extra tartar sauce on the side. My wife grabbed the Pearl Jam and really liked it, and my daughter went with the Bread Zeppelin, which was a hit with her as well. It's a super comfortable spot to grab a bite, and we'll definitely be adding this to our Cincinnati adjacent rotation. If you're in the area and looking for a solid meal, I'd highly recommend checking it out.

Seems like Peewee's is a hidden gem…read more We stopped by there for breakfast last weekend. We had known the place existed because we had friends who played volleyball there (they have a sand volleyball court next to the restaurant), but had never had the occasion to stop by. This place does not pretend to be anything else besides what it is - an unpretentious, locally-owned/locally-serving bar/restaurant where you know exactly what you'll get. I loved the old signage on the walls and the overall vibe. It's just a straight-up local comfort joint. Food was not anything to write home about but it also was exactly what I was looking for, if that makes sense; filling, short-order breakfast fare. I'm not coming to a place like Peewee's looking for bold gastronomic experiences - I want strong coffee and fatty breakfast food. Apparently Peewee actually came out from the kitchen as well and was greeting and joking with some of the regulars - super cool to see. On the whole, had a great experience here, and would definitely come back.

The usual adjectives of undiscovered gem, etc. apply. It's situated right in a residential community and 60% of their traffic is local. We went on a Saturday evening when they have live music. Love the music. Not too loud or intrusive and you can actually hear your dining compadres during dinner. The patio area looked enticing, too, and we'll try that on a cooler fall evening. Loved the menu options and the drink selections. The smoked old-fashioned was my favorite and our server, Sydney, relished lighting the fire for it. I even ordered another one because she enjoyed doing it so much. Their specialty is brisket and they do it daily on their smoker outside the kitchen. They're also known for their flatbreads and I selected the Brisket flatbread which was absolutely scrumptious. That followed up on the appetizer of spinach artichoke dip which was some of the best I've had. I can't end this review without commenting on our server, Sydney, with whom we conversed at length over the course of 3.5 hours. She's one of the most interesting, insightful, intelligent young women you'll ever meet. Make sure you come on a night she's working! This will definitely be one of our favorite, local 'go tos'.
