We had the Vegan Pad Thai and Vegan dumplings, Presentation was 10/10. Quick service. Spice level was good. Not too hot to enjoy. I highly recommend to all my vegan friends visiting in Lisboa.

The 30 minute wait at Time Out Market is worth it. The Korean BBQ sauce on the bao bun and burger was heavenly. To be honest, Im pretty sure you can spread it on anything and it would make it taste good. As delicious as our items were, they were tiny. Pro Tip- as amazing as Time Out Market is, I recommended you go tapas style and sample as many vendors as you can. The pad Thai and curry dishes were noticeably larger and looked incredible.

44 minute wait for chow mein and rude staff......

44 minute wait for chow mein noodle. The spring roll is worst than the one you get from supermarket. Save yourself the time and money. When I asked about my food, the staff shrugged his shoulder.....

    Pad Thai (chicken)

I got the Pad Thai with chicken for around 10 euro. It wasn't the best pad Thai I have ever had but it was still good. It came with peanut and chili powder on the side which didn't add much to the original dish. It was still worth it overall.

Chicken satay was tender and smothered in a creamy coconut peanut sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Without a reservation, they were able to get us a table l and also gave us a tour of their dragon, rhino and each section of the restaurant. The bang bang chicken tasted more along the lines of a peanut sauce (similar to pad thai) and wasn't spicy, but still delicious! I could have easily made a meal solely eating 3-4 of these. The piri piri chicken was cooked perfect! The yogurt sauce, rice and onions all gave it a Mediterranean feel, and the bread/tortillas went great with it.

Discovered JNcQUIO Asia - easier to get reservations last minute at Asia instead of Avenida. The room was beautiful - I loved the decor - so imaginative with the dragon skeleton hanging from the ceiling. Ordered the truffle naan, crab on wonton, spring rolls, crispy duck salad and fried rice. The flavors were there, but the duck salad had way too much cilantro so I had to pick it all out. It was my birthday celebration and I received the hazelnut biscuit - delicious! Service was very strange - one waiter took the order and I never saw him again. Another server brought the food and he actually spent time to explain the food and presented the birthday dessert.

I am a vegan and 26 is my favorite number so I felt like this restaurant was calling me to eat here…read more- I am glad that I answered the call. This restaurant is beautiful and well thought out. I love the entrance and the journey to the main dining area. I love the interior design. I love the open-concept kitchen that grants the ability to watch the chefs work their magic. I love the dishware and the presentation of the food. Ultimately, I love how intentional the creators were with the development and execution of Ao 26. I ordered the Francesinha and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Upon reading the description, I was hesitant because it did not sound like something that I'd enjoy, but I was desperate to try a dish native to Portugal. It was delicious - so so delicious. I'm glad that they were able to veganize the native dish and execute it so well. For dessert, I ordered the Peanut & Chocolat Pie. I enjoyed it but I wouldn't order it again because it was slightly too rich for me, however, if you like dark chocolate, that is the dessert for you. I loved my experience here. This would be a great place for a date or night out with friends. The food is great and the vibe is better. Thank you Ao 26.

I'm afraid that was the most interesting part of the experience. Service was okay, but definitely not particularly friendly. We asked the server which was a good, traditional (albeit vegan version) Portuguese dish. She recommended the Supreme Bifana sandwich. So I ordered that. It came with sweet potato fries. I forget exactly what was in the sandwich, but it was pretty bland. There was a sauce that came with the dish and that was tasty. But the sandwich itself was meh at best. The fries were also disappointing. They were soggy and very oily. Dipping them in the sauce made them somewhat edible. So meh food and meh service equals a meh review.
