Oh yes, quick note, study the menu outside before you go in, order with person at the front, then you get to sit down. If you see an open stone slate placemat, then it is available.

Without a reservation, they were able to get us a table l and also gave us a tour of their dragon, rhino and each section of the restaurant. The bang bang chicken tasted more along the lines of a peanut sauce (similar to pad thai) and wasn't spicy, but still delicious! I could have easily made a meal solely eating 3-4 of these. The piri piri chicken was cooked perfect! The yogurt sauce, rice and onions all gave it a Mediterranean feel, and the bread/tortillas went great with it.

Discovered JNcQUIO Asia - easier to get reservations last minute at Asia instead of Avenida. The room was beautiful - I loved the decor - so imaginative with the dragon skeleton hanging from the ceiling. Ordered the truffle naan, crab on wonton, spring rolls, crispy duck salad and fried rice. The flavors were there, but the duck salad had way too much cilantro so I had to pick it all out. It was my birthday celebration and I received the hazelnut biscuit - delicious! Service was very strange - one waiter took the order and I never saw him again. Another server brought the food and he actually spent time to explain the food and presented the birthday dessert.

Perfectly fresh for a warm day! Then I had the combo sushi/sashimi lunch plate, which I wanted to start with to determine whether I should order more, and I'm glad my eyes weren't larger than my stomach, for once! When they brought out the combo plate, I was very surprised to find only a few silvers of ginger and no wasabi. No. Wasabi. To me, this was a major faux pas. In general, the sushi and sashimi were OK - relatively fresh, but I've certainly had better. In a city where food is held at such a high standard, I expected that each piece of sashimi should melt like butter in my mouth and have its distinct lingering taste left after. This wasn't the case. If you're looking for an OK place to whet your massive sushi craving, come here. But, if you're looking for quality food, just head to Mercado de Campo de Ourique for some delicious alternatives.
