They take reservations which is great, because I'm noticing a lot of brunch places don't anymore. They have a bar area that you can sit at with a full bar, and a large TV, or several tables you can sit at. I decided to order the Poke nachos, and they tasted pretty fresh. The portion wasn't too small nor too large, I found it just right for me. A little bit more of the sauce throughout as they mostly put it on top, but the taste was great. One thing to note, I ordered a soda and they got it from the movie theater Fountain inside. I'm not sure why but it was very flat and tasted off. Thankfull they did not charge me for it. Also the menu is not 100% accurate, they use the same menu as they do for a separate location, but some of the items are not available such as the assorted pastries. The server seemed like he may have been new but was nice and did try to accommodate us, and answered the questions we had around the menu. The pan fried pork and chives dumplings were a bit disappointing but we liked the duck bao tacos. The hot sake was a deal on the happy hour menu and we enjoyed that with our meal. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with Diana who was very apologetic and nice. She said she'd contact the owner and someone would follow up with me the next day (since it was already closing time). The next day came and went but I never got a call. I called back and spoke with a guy (Ryan I think) who was also very nice and said he'd contact owner. Then I got a call back from him that the owner told me I had to contact Uber Eats for a refund. I told him that I didn't want a refund. I just wanted the owner to know and to just put a credit towards my next order or to remake the order. He relayed that to the owner and told me she said I have to deal with Uber Eats. I contacted Uber Eats who said since 48 hours had passed they don't refund and sent me back to the restaurant, who told me again to contact Uber Eats. Anyway you get the idea. The owner did not even bother to contact me or seem concerned that there was a QC food safety issue. I never asked for a refund but am extremely disappointed by the owner's response or lack thereof. The staff I spoke with were great but the poor leadership will likely be the downfall of this restaurant. It's really too bad, because I have been supporting and rooting for their success since Day 1.

My friends and I came on a Sunday afternoon and had no trouble finding a spot. We came specifically to try the viral crab rangoon roll that's been all over social media, so we had to check out Slurp. I didn't even realize there were two Slurp locations inside Liberty Public Market, but we ended up going to the smaller one: Slurp Teriyaki & Ramen. The staff was really friendly, and we ordered the Royal roll. It was about $14 for six pieces. Honestly, it tasted exactly how you'd imagine a crab rangoon roll, creamy, savory, and super satisfying. I will say, I wish it was a little more fresh and crispy, but it was still really good overall. They definitely did not skimp on the filling, which I loved, and the sauce had great flavor. It was a bit on the thinner side, but still paired well with the roll. One thing I'll note, it's VERY filling. I was full for a while after eating it. Also ordered some additional rolls including, Salmon + Avo, California Roll and a Crunchy Roll. The rolls were on the larger size and given their excellent pricing, Temari-Zushi is a keeper! I was crazy hungry and missed my chance to take photos! Next time for sure!
