Garlic sauce tofu (no eggplant, add mushroom)
kyree S.

I've ordered from Asian Harbor a few times and they exceed expectations every time. The portion sizes are filling and the sauce is so flavorful. The tofu was also a nice crispy texture and I loved every bite. 10/10 meal :)

Maki 3 Sushi Rolls Combo - salmon avo, spicy tuna, salmon skin
Cara B.

Great, cheap sushi! Ordered takeout and the combo is a great deal. Delivery was right on time for what it said on Grubhub. The salmon avocado was the best, the salmon skin was a little more hard than crispy. Got a spicy mayo side for 75 cents and that was definitely necessary. Would order again

No noodles in the chow mein
Erin D.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT! I am Chinese and ashamed that these people consider themselves a Chinese restaurant. I ordered the chow mein combination dinner, and it turns out these are not noodles! I was just appalled - google "chow mein" and that's what you get! When I called, this is what the restaurant said: Them: There are no noodles. This is the east coast, and we call this chow mein, but on the west coast they call it chop suey. So, it's really a chop suey not a chow mein. If you want noodles, you should order lo mein. Me: If it's chop suey, then call it chop suey! I have been to every state on the east coast, travel about 3,000 miles/week, and you are the ONLY Chinese restaurant to call this chow mein instead of chop suey. Them: Well you ordered under the entrees menu, and the noodle dishes are under the noodles menu. Me: Lo mein is also under the same section as the chow mein in the combinations section, so does this mean lo mein are not noodles? Them: No, lo mein is noodles. Does anyone else see the fault in their logic? If noodle dishes are only under the noodles menu, then lo mein needs to be removed under the combinations section as well. Thankfully I ordered via yelp's eat24 system, so I was able to get a refund on the entree. So, don't order from the restaurant directly in case it's wrong! Furthermore, the rest of the food was terrible. The shumai was sour (who knew this was possible?), and the egg drop soup was so gelatinous it stuck to the spoon. The soup was very difficult to eat, it was so sticky. The fried rice was dry and bland. The shrimp in the chop suey was dirty and not deveined. My delivery was 25 minutes later than promised & did not contain chopsticks as requested. The driver called because he read the wrong address. I also had put my hotel's name in the instructions, so I suppose he failed to read that too. If you have the information, cross check! The meal comes with a salad. When I took a quick glance in my bag, I said to the driver, "I didn't order salad!" He said, "You ordered a dinner right? It comes with it." I should've known this was my first omen. What Chinese restaurant includes salad in a dinner meal??? An egg roll, sure, but salad? Definitely a highly Americanized restaurant! Shu Mai $4.95 Root Beer $1.65 Chow Mein (Dinner) $8.50 Make it With: Shrimp Choice of Rice: Fried Choice of Side: Egg Drop Soup Subtotal $15.10 Delivery Charge $2.00 Tax $0.91 Tip $1.80 Total $19.81

Absolutely hideous gravy! Look at the number of broccoli in one gravy dish. This could be the worst chinese I have ever had

When you try to make Chinese carry out look fancy (tuna and salmon hand rolls)
My N.

For Chinese carry out, I can't really complain and their late hours make being a student convenient. I honestly like their food but they always seem to get my sushi orders wrong, forget my rice completely (in which they later came back to deliver hehe), and it also gets quite hard to eat when they always forget utensils.. But other than that, their kungpao chicken dank, entree portions be huge AND I have yet to have tummy problems after eating their fish.

The food was horrible. I got the drunken noodle with tofu and it was tasteless and mushy. Completly disappointed.

I've become obsessed with Peter Chang takeout ever since I realized they have several gluten free…read moreoptions on the menu. I usually stay away from Chinese food just due to the use of wheat noodles and soy sauce but having a few options that are safe and delicious is what really sets Peter Chang apart from other Chinese restaurants in the area. My favorites from the menu include: Crystal shrimp dumplings - so yummy and perfectly steamed. Comes with a sauce that might be questionable for my more sensitive gluten free foodies so proceed with caution. Absolutely delicious shrimp inside though! Scallion fried rice - comes with generous amount of egg and customized spice level. Goes great with a little extra tamari if you have some at home. Bok choy and mushrooms - omg, I think about this bok choy weekly! It's so perfectly cooked. Crunchy, full of flavor, and goes well with the mushrooms. I like mixing this into the fried rice. Singapore noodles - this was a new item for me but really yummy. Loved the thing rice noodles that had a nice chew to them and didn't fall apart. Seasoning was fresh and not overpowering at all. Comes with thinly sliced chicken and a few shrimp plus some chopped veggies. Add some of your own tamari to it for a little extra flavor! Delivery has always been prompt and dishes packaged well. I've never eaten in, as it's more of a casual takeout spot, but their food really fulfills my Chinese food cravings.

Not really flavorful but not bad. - Chinese Burger w. Pork Belly: Meat was tender. Flavor had a hint of sweetness that made this app my favorite from the order. - Green Bean w. Pickled Cabbage: Green beans were cooked perfectly, a little bit of crunch and flavor was great. - Sichuan Dan Dan Noodle: Not the best Dan Dan I've had but got the job done. Good portion size for price. - Egg Scallion Fried Rice (mild): Solid fried rice with a bit of a kick. Cooked well. Overall this was a pleasant takeout order and I would order from here again!

Chinese carry-out has a unique appeal to me; it is cheap. In most cases, you get what you pay for,…read morebut some places are surprisingly good. I craved some Chinese carry-out, and I had a previous experience with Peking House which proved positive. One indicator of good Chinese carry-out is how well the chicken withstands sauce, whether it is sweet and sour, General Tso's, orange chicken, etc., if it is crispy throughout, then mission accomplished. Peking House was on point. Although it was saucy, the chicken maintained its crisp texture throughout the meal. To take it a step further, I have some leftover and taste in the morning; it kept the crunch. Another indicator is the ratio of meat to veggie. A pass is 60/40 veggie, I know some people lean meat, but I like to feel good eating Chinese carry-out. The veggies need a little bite to them as well. I got the shrimp and broccoli, and Peking House met the perfect ratio, and the veggies maintained their crunch even into the next day. Dumplings, I love dumplings. But most Chinese carry-out dumplings are turds that have no taste. So I am looking for a dumpling with a flavor that will not look like I just a turd. The dumplings were flavorful and did not look like a turd. Finally, the fortune cookies, first off, fortune cookies are mandatory, but they also can't be stale. I had gone through a long streak of stale fortune cookies, and I cross my finger that I would be fortunate enough not to have a stale cookie. Peking House had the fortune cookies, and they were NOT stale. As long as Peking House serves the good stuff, I will keep coming back.
