The food was cold and there was hair in the Mac n cheese. I do not recommend you coming here

I'm Vietnamese, I'm Asian Tday is the first time I go to Buffet with my siblings. You guys should try because the food really awesome. The waiters take good care of us, they will take away your dishes as soon as you eat them clean to make sure your dining area is really clean. When you get inside they will ask you what water to drink and get them for you Dishes are added quickly and hotly Fruits, vegetables healthy, ice creams, cakes, that things we hadn't tried yet because time was up :(( We'll come back

I really wanted to like this place, because its the Asian buffet in town. The prices have gone up since the last Yelp review, I have updated them in the picture. Other reviews also mentioned crab legs. I went on a Saturday night, and there were no crab legs. The only 'steak' available was strips of sliced beef you could get in the hibachi, which I do not consider to be steak. As far as the sushi, which I was looking forward to, they had a whopping two varieties to choose from on a busy Saturday night. It was actually the same roll but one had extra fake crab mayo topping on the top. No raw rolls were available. Still, I did try a wide variety of the food. Honestly, the hibachi was the only thing that tasted even remotely close to 'good'. It still wasn't good, but at least tasted fresh. I was really hoping to find a go to Asian buffet in Rochester, but cannot bring myself to come back here.

    My hibachi creation.

Updating my review because I went for Dinner the second time.( First time was lunch) and I will say it was by far better. The food in general just tasted better. There is also a few things they have at dinner that they do not have at lunch. Probably my most favorite is that they have already prepared steaks. They serve them at the hibachi grill. They are already cooked, and the guy working the hibachi station will just heat them up for you. It's a fairly decent size steak too..about a 6oz portion. I got two of them. I am on a low carb diet so I was happy they had steaks included with the dinner buffet. There was also a good amount of things I found on the buffet that allowed me to stay true to my diet. As my previous review stated, the waiters were all attentive and made sure my drink stayed full. Everything looked extremely fresh from the hot buffet items to the cold ones like the fruits/deserts. Once again the items on the raw hibachi station looked well maintained, fresh, chilled. Still the best hibachi I have seen at a Chinese buffet. I am a frequent flyer to Chinese buffets. I have been to all of them in Rochester and this is by far the best one. Beating out my previous favorite for the last 15+ years now, the original "China buffet". Other Chinese buffets take notice! You better step your game up or you will be losing more business to Asian Buffet.

We have been here a few times in the past and, in my opinion, they are staying consistent. As far as Greece area Chinese buffets, I think this place is the top. Overall, fairly clean with very friendly staff and a large seating area. I would say that the most notable aspects of this place are the very large dessert selection (simple options like cookies, ice cream, and little squares of cake) and large variety of meat and seafood dishes. For example, today I tried a Hong Kong style of cut beef. Actually quite good! I also tried some kind of spicy chicken that was very good and they regularly have large bbq ribs. I also really enjoy their fresh mixed vegetables, hibachi fried rice, veggie sushi rolls, crispy fried cream cheese wontons, and lemon pepper fried chicken wings. What keeps me from giving five-stars is that some of my favorite dishes are not well done: the egg rolls are mushy, the lo mein noodles are thin and lacking in flavor, and the fried sugar donuts are not very sugary and overly fried. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will switch these recipes up in the future.

Ask the Community - Asian Buffet

Is there a family / kids night?

    Yes!

How much do they charge for lunch /dinner per person and is it all you can eat?

6.99 for lunch 11.99 for dinner. Drink not included. It is all you can eat. If you come during lunch and eat through dinner they will charge you for dinner if you eat any of the items that are marked "dinner only"

    How's the sea food?

The steamed seafood was pretty good! Clams, Crawfish, Shrimp etc. (I wasn't there on a day with crab legs but those are hard to mess up.) The seafood "bakes" and stuffed shrimp etc. didn't look that great so I avoided them.

The place had a nice ambiance with a sculpture and indoor pond as soon as you walk in the door. They were also playing nice, soft music you can enjoy your meal to. They have a very large selection of food on their buffet, ranging from some of your traditional American Chinese choices such as fried rice, lo mein noodles, chicken and broccoli, etc. They also offer a host of your more traditional American foods such as pizza, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes and gravy. They also offer a nice selection of different sushi rolls. All of the food seems nice and fresh, with steam coming off most of the food. I thought the taste of the food was pretty good. Everything tasted fresh and had good flavors to it. I personally didn't have any, but my wife said the Mac and cheese was not very good, tasting like "noodles soaked in milk". The sushi had good flavors to it, and the rice seemed fresh (not hard like some sushi rolls that sit out for a while at a buffet). The staff were very attentive, grabbing our used plates at our table, and bringing us refills on the drinks. It also seemed like there was always a member of staff going around the buffet making sure all of the food was staying fresh, and refilling the food that was getting low. We overall had a great experience and definitely will be back in the future!

And it's the nicest place to eat in the casino. It's fairly expensive at $21.95 for dinner per person. You get $3 off that with your Lucky North card, and I also had an offer on my card for another $7 off. We also cashed in our points that were on our card to save a few more dollars, so we paid $30 total for the two of us, with non alcoholic drinks included. I'm vegetarian, and there's a lot of options for me. Off the top of my head, there's pizza, garlic sticks, salad, macaroni salad, soft pretzel sticks, fried mac and cheese, baked potatoes, rolls, spring rolls, and a make your own pasta station. Now, of all of that, the macaroni salad and the pretzel stick were good. The rest was just ok. There was also pimento macaroni and cheese, but I really didn't like that. And I didn't do the pasta station this time, but that is usually good. Like all buffets, it changes, so everything isn't available each time you go. On the dessert bar, there is an Oreo pie that I really like. I usually go get that first to make sure I get a piece, lol. Of the whole buffet, that is the one thing that I truly like. Everything is ok, but nothing is amazing. The pie is really good though. My husband is not vegetarian, and he is really why we come here. There's a much bigger selection for him, and I know he had prime rib. That was probably all he needed to be happy. :) I just found out that they have a brunch until 3pm on the weekends. I would prefer that, so we'll try to go earlier and get brunch next time.

On my most recent visit, during lunch time with friends, we all had the all-you-can-eat buffet, which is a great value at $13.99 (current price). The woman serving us was very generous with the portions and also made sure we had plenty of injera bread to eat with it (though there is also rice on the buffet if you prefer.) Although I don't know the names of any of the things I ate, there were mild and spicy options, several kinds of lentils, a kind of pureed chickpea dish, sauteed/braised greens and two kinds of mixed veggies - one with carrots and one with cabbage. Although the buffet is all-you-can-eat, we were all stuffed and just managed to eat what we were served. A few side notes: -- Hours here on Yelp say they open at 11 am which is incorrect. They open at 12 pm each day of the week. -- There is street parking and in this section of the city, it is still free! -- Seating in the front room inside can accommodate approx 20 people. On the day we visited, we were a group of 4, and several singles came in, and two other groups of 4, and the place was packed -- There are also several meat options on the buffet; if you want the meat the buffet price increases by $1 -- Beverages are all in bottles - water, sodas, etc -- This place uses disposable paper plates and plastic cutlery -- Don't forget to ask about the samosas! They have a veggie one and a meat one, and though we forgot and were too full, they looked and smelled amazing!

An Honest Texas de Brazil Review for Meat Eaters…read more If you're a committed carnivore looking for a place where meat is the star of the show and you leave feeling full and satisfied, Texas de Brazil delivers. It's not a subtle dining experience-it's a marathon of meats, and for the right diner, it is absolutely worth it. The Main Attraction: The Meats The core of the experience is the endless parade of gaucho carving flame-grilled meats directly onto your plate. The quality is consistently good to very good - not necessarily dry-aged, steakhouse level, but far above typical chain fare. · Standouts: The Picanha is the signature must-try--juicy, flavorful, and perfectly salted. Another winner: Fraldinha, or bottom sirloin. Lamb chops are often excellent, and the parmesan-crusted pork loin is a surprise favorite for many. Bacon-wrapped chicken and filet mignon are reliably tender. * The Strategy: Make judicious use of the coaster provided-green for "go," red for "stop." Pace yourself. If something sounds less than thrilling to you (plain chicken, sausages), give it a pass and save room for the premium cuts. If you like something so much, feel free to ask for doneness or a specific cut. The Salve for the Savvy: The Salad & Sides Bar Salad bar is a huge understatement; it's a legitimate feast in and of itself. And includes more than 50 items: High-value items include smoked salmon, premium cheeses like manchego and buffalo mozzarella, salami, prosciutto, steamed asparagus, hearts of palm, and seafood salads. · Pro-Tip: One smart visit includes a first trip to the salad bar for these gourmet items only; avoid filling up on leafy greens or pasta salads. The hot sides, brought to the table-especially those garlic mashed potatoes and fried bananas-are delicious complements to the meat. The Value Proposition/The Crucial Question For a dinner price that's usually $55-$65 per head, depending on the location and date, it's good value if approached strategically. Worth it if: You have a big appetite and you like variety, and you'll focus on the higher-end meats and salad bar delicacies. It's also fantastic for any celebrations if you want a boisterous, indulgent atmosphere. Not worth it if: You're a light eater, like your steakhouse meal quiet and a la carte, or won't eat enough to make the upfront cost worthwhile. Drinks and dessert are extra; both can greatly increase the bill. The Vibe & Service Expect a busy, energetic atmosphere-it's not an intimate, quiet spot. Generally efficient, attentive service. With constant meat servers, you're never waiting long if your coaster is on green. Final Verdict for Meat Eaters: Delicious? Yes. The sheer variety of well-seasoned, freshly grilled meats is a carnivore's dream. The highlights-Picanha, lamb-are genuinely delicious. Worth it for most diners? For its target audience-absolutely. Go in with the right mindset: This is about abundance, not finesse. Arrive hungry, ignore the filler, pay attention to the premium offering, and you'll walk away satisfied that you received value for money spent in quality and quantity. It's a reliably great option for a special night out where the goal is to feast without limits.
